R/R/CS: Okay, so I had a huge temp drop this morning...I just want to make sure I'm not crazy thinking I have a biphasic chart and then have my CH pulled and I didn't really ovulate! Aaaah. What do you guys think? I ovulated, yes? I'm feeling like such a newb this morning.
GTKY: Do you get along with your in-laws? I do! My SIL is awesome, we are good friends. My MIL/FIL I don't see very often, so we're not super close, but they are kind, supportive people!
R/R/CS: it's Thursday and I start my vacation in a week! (Visiting my in laws actually). But another coworker is on vacation til Tuesday so I will have double work til then. Booooo
GTKY: Do you get along with your in-laws? I do. They live pretty far away so we don't see them often but they don't butt in or make any rude comments at all. My SILs are younger (7 and 10 years younger than me) but they are really nice. The only thing my in laws do that frustrates me is that when they do visit it's a last minute thing that isn't ever guaranteed. So it's a lot of hustle and bustle at the last minute. But they don't visit often so I remind myself to woo-saa and let it go.
Me: 33 DH: 31 DS: 5 years old TTC #2 since August 2015 July 2016: Testing cycle with 100 mg Clomid = BFN August 2016: 50 mg Clomid + IUI = BFN October 2016: IVF#1 - 13 retrieved / 12 mature / 9 fertilized / 2 blasts November 2016: FET#1 = chemical January 2017: FET#2 = chemical March 2017: IVF#2 - 18 retrieved / 18 mature / 16 fertilized / 5 blasts

R/R/CS: Still just hanging out here unless my chart makes a drastic change. I doubt I ovulated yet, which is frustrating, but I'm going to go with the cross hairs FF gave me until they are changed. On an unrelated note, my butt is killing me from my workout yesterday. Sitting is fine, but walking is a chore! No pain, no gain, right?! Uhhh!
GTKY: My in-laws are amazing! I absolutely LOVE them. I actually work with my MIL, which is kind of how I met DH (we lived one street over from each other and she encouraged us to meet up). My parents and my in-laws also hang out now, which is kind of weird, but it makes the holiday's easy because my parents are always invited to the in-laws for each holiday (my in-laws have a big family, and my family is small). My parents and my in-laws even went on a vacation to the beach together this past February!

R/R/CS: My boobs don't hurt anymore. I don't feel anything remotely closes to being pregnant. I mean, its obviously way early....I wish I had kept a journal when I was pregnant with DD so I could go back and read about my symptoms and stuff.
GTKY: Do you get along with your in-laws? Meh. My mother in law lives far away and I am thankful for that. She is nice enough, but a bit needy and high maintenance. DH's father (who is dead) was an abusive drunk his whole life and his mom never did anything to protect him, so I carry a lot of resentment towards her. DH's brother is a loser drug addict and his sister is nice, but not the type of person I would really have a friendship or relationship with.

@houseofsetters I feel like we are chart twins because my chart is alllllll messed up again this cycle. It looks like you ovulated because of the +opk and the fertile CM up until day 27, but then you started having fertile CM again on CD 32. That combined with the temp drop today is throwing things off. I think it's all going to depend on what your temp does tomorrow to determine if this was just another surge or if you didn't actually ovulate yet. Sorry I'm not much help!

@houseofsetters I don't want to say and jinx you, but you know what I'm thinking with that temp drop!!! Though I suppose it could also be an estrogen surge (which would also explain the EWCM). Either way, I definitely think you ovulated. @beary67 Wow, that's great that your parents get along so well with your in-laws! You'll never have to worry about splitting holidays.
Month/Cycle: 8/8
CD/DPO: 26/10
Timing: -3, -1, 0
Testing: AF should be here Sunday. I'll probably wait till then.
R/R/CS: So last night...I finally learned how to gif.
Aaaaand it was incredibly easy, so now I'm embarrassed I put it off for so long, but excited to join the fun.
GTKY: Do you get along with your in-laws? Yes! I am incredibly blessed with amazing in-laws. This is horrible to say, but sometimes I like hanging out with H's family more than my own (I'm going to attribute that to our 5 nieces and nephews...we only have one on my side). We are also fortunate to live close to both families so we can do both on holidays.
Testing: not until missed AF. Unless I lose all resolve, which is possible.
R/R/CS: I'm really excited about our timing this month! DH didn't have any road trips this cycle and we were animals in the bedroom this month. Not sure what's going on but I'm just going to enjoy it.
GTKY: Do you get along with your in-laws? Yes! Like any family, they can get on my nerves but I really feel like I hit the jackpot with them. I never met my FIL. He lived out of the country and died about 3-4 weeks after we started dating. My MIL is great and loves me and DH and so does my SFIL. They live close by and we see them about once a week.
@felix08 I totally understand. I sometimes enjoy having with the in laws more than my own family. They are more laid back and like to sit outside in the summer and drink tequila which is right up my alley! Well...it used to be before I pretty much stopped drinking for this whole TTC thing.
R/R/CS: Woah! Huge temp spike this morning to the highest I've ever had while charting. Really freaked out by it. Anxiety just went through the roof. Also got through another day without spotting. FX it continues...
GTKY: Do you get along with your in-laws? Yes! I was just thinking about this question and hoping someone would ask it! I am extremely grateful I have some amazing in-laws. MIL and FIL are both just wonderful people and great to be around. Since moving a few months ago, we now live in the same city and I hope to spend more time with them. SIL and her H live overseas at the moment and come back in July. SIL and I get along as well as sisters do Then there is BIL who is a Hari Krisna and will be moving from the midwest to the east coast this summer also, so we will have the whole family close. Happy happy!
Testing: BFNs x 2 now, so not testing this morning or again until AF.
R/R/CS: I'm not sure what's going on. This is the longest cycle I've had in a while. I O'd 3 days later than I normally do and my LP is now longer than its been since temping. The only sign I've had so far of impending AF is decreased temps. I also haven't gotten cramps yet, and I'm one of those really bad cramps people. I have had round ligament pain (I get that pretty much every cycle a day or so before AF... I think I have endometriosis ), but that's been my only symptom of PMS so far. I haven't even really been extra emotional, like besides my little sad moment about the BFNs.
I'm expecting a flood any minute.
In other news, we are going on a mini weekend vacation Saturday!!
GTKY: Yes and no... This is such a complicated answer. We used to get along really well, and then we got married and now it's very strained. MIL plays a lot of manipulation games and I don't believe in playing games like that. So she tries to guilt trip DH into something and I just shut it down, pretty much.
Testing: Ughhh. Don't know. I'm over it. This weekend maybe unless AF comes.
R/R/CS: Temps are holding pretty steady. I don't even know what to think anymore. I don't want to test and be let down so I'm kind of practicing avoidance on the whole thing. Funny question - is it just me that finds temping and charting to be kind of soothing? I kind of love it and find comfort in the daily routine.
GTKY: Do you get along with your in-laws? Ugh. I guess. There's no major dysfunction or hostility but DH's mom's side drives me nuts just because I find them syrupy sweet and fake nice and they use those tools to 'innocently' overstep their boundaries. DH'S dad I like, he let's us be and isn't annoying.
Me: 32 DH: 33 Married: October 2015 TTC #1: October 2015 EDD #1: June/July 2017
R/R/CS: Womp, misread my chart somehow and had one less insemination day.
GTKY: Do you get along with your in-laws? For the most part, yes. I have the benefit of living 22 hours away from them. Partner's dad can be really... difficult sometimes, but we don't have to be face to face that often. He's also been taught the lesson of "if you say something over the line, we will pack up and leave early", so he knows to watch his tongue when we're visiting.
R/R/CS: Just one more day. I am ready for AF to come so I can start another cycle. I am not sure if the RE will want to do another IUI or move onto IVF. I haven't fully committed myself to IVF but definitely want to talk about it with her.
GTKY: Do you get along with your in-laws? Yes I do. DH has 2 sets of parents but we are much closer to his dad and stepmom (who raised him). They are awesome and live nearby which is great b/c my parents live 1,000 miles away. My MIL is one of the few people who know about our TTC struggles and she has been incredibly supportive -- texting/calling when need-be but not over doing it, ya know.

Testing: Damn! I forgot this morning. I guess we will see how the day goes.
R/R/CS: I am pretty sure I am going crazy. I am obsessively checking for spotting, because it usually starts by now. I keep feeling AF starting, run to the bathroom and it's only regular CM. I fully expected to wake up with my period, so I didn't bother testing, but now I regret it. I have my ultrasound this morning and didn't want to have to worry about it. Also, last night I convinced my H to go and see the new Jungle Book movie, as a distraction to my craziness. The theater ended up being unusually packed with kids for a Wednesday evening, later we find out there was a Scout's group that was having an evening out. Kids everywhere!
GTKY: His parents are divorced, we do not get along with his dad or that side of the family, so there is zero communication there. I get along with his mom though. She can be a little much at times, but she has some health issues and so it takes a lot of patience, but I feel blessed after hearing so many other horror stories!
R/R/CS: This month I'm actually hoping I start soon. The anxiety is bad this month and I know as soon as I start it'll go away. Thanks PMDD. Does anyone else suffer from anxiety and not take meds because of TTC? How else do you cope?
GTKY: Do you get along with your in-laws? My FIL is awesome. He's level headed and a really good person overall. When DH and I split for a few months, he treated me as if nothing changed. He always has some good advice and listening ear. My SIL and I are pretty good friends too. My MIL on the other hand. Nope! I'm done with her. She's childish and narccistic and overall crazy. We've had so many boundary issues with her, especially when it comes to our kids. We are currently not speaking to each other because she thought it was appropriate to slap me across the face after I intervened in her physical discipline of my child. If anyone remembers when I first brought it up.... That was almost a month ago. And she has yet to apologize. At this point, I highly doubt I will ever get one.

@linzrunz oh we can commiserate I have anxiety, depression, and pmdd fun right?! I see you have been trying for 2 months...I hope it happens quick for you so you can move on!! I got pregnant quick with my first two so the anxiety, etc wasn't a big deal. I'm a year off meds next month and it is ROUGH! I still don't know how to deal with it but I'm trying. I started seeing a counselor and that helped a bit. Keeping busy helps too! Good luck!!
@houseofsetters I feel you with the chart craziness. Mine is all wonky this cycle too! It looks like you ovulated, but I would wait until the next day or two's temps to make the call for sure. Did anything change in how you sleep?

GTKY: Do you get along with your in-laws?
My MIL hates me, so I generally get left at home when DH goes to visit his family. Apparently it is frowned upon to tell your BIL that his now ex-fiancee (who lived next door) was screwing two other guys behind his back. He has since married a much nicer girl, but both he and his mom still don't like me.
GTKY: Do you get along with your in-laws? Eh, they're okay. DH's mom died when he was 12, and I've been told that she was the loving type. His dad and stepmom aren't, which is the complete opposite of my family. I don't have to see them often, so that's a bonus.

R/R/CS: My husband was doing pretty good with not talking as much about babies since he knows it can be hard on me sometimes. But he started up again last night with, "Kristo, if we get pregnant this cycle, we will have a New Years baby!" "Should we get Christmas presents, since Christmas will only be a couple weeks before it's born?" "It'll be so cold coming home from the hospital, we'll have to bundle it up extra tight!" "What if it's iced over like it normally is around that time? I can't drive with a baby in those conditions!"
Like, no pressure babe. Thanks.
(Damn it uterus! Do your job!!!)
GTKY: Do you get along with your in-laws? Yeah, absolutely. We had to live in their house for a while while they were in Germany, they ended up coming back like 6 months early unexpectedly so we ended up living with them for that time since we hadn't made plans to move. We definitely got really close during that time. His mother even paid for an attorney for me when my mother tried to sue me (which I got served on my wedding day, by the way! But that's a another story)

GTKY: Do you get along with your in-laws?
Mil is challenging. Very grumpy as she gets older and very stuck up. Pretty sure her pantsuit for our wedding cost more than my dress (that I splurged on!). She used to visit DH every spring from PA and stay as long as she felt like it, usually a month give or take. This year we gave her a set time frame (2 weeks at time that wouldn't interfere with TTC or any other thing we had planned). She played the martyr and didn't even come this year! Her loss!!
Fil is a little weird, but that's because he is an engineer (like us). We don't sit and chat but I don't mind him around. He is a little more reasonable than mil. Plus he is basically a crazy cat lady. He sends us selfies of him and his two cats lol.
@linzrunz I still can't believe that she not only hit you, but that she thought that it was ok to physically discipline your child too. I would be so furious!!
R/R/CS: Temp dropped low this morning (97.78) but I'm not sure if I trust it. I went to bed at 11pm - woke up at 2am to pee, I was so hot so I took off one of the blankets. I should of took my temp but I was half asleep. Woke up at usual time 5:30am to check temp, but I remember feeling cold because I only had the light blanket on (it's cooler outside this week). Put my blankets back on and went back to sleep for a couple hours, temp is >98.5 at 7am. But anyway, I got a BFN this morning so maybe I am out.
GTKY: Do you get along with your in-laws? SO's family is really nice to me. Since they live in town and my parents live an hour away, I see his family more often. MIL-to-be has her moments when she can be annoying, but overall they're pretty great.
@MelissaM090 - I really like charting too. It is so interesting to me to see my body do these things. I'm happy I started charting but miss the 'ignorance is bliss'-ness of not knowing.
@PepperAT - We are still in the same boat! FX for you! Taking my test tomorrow morning...
@linzrunz - I have anxiety that I don't take medication for now that I'm TTC. Breathing exercises and yoga are my lifesavers. I've been practicing a long time, so it's gotten easier. But I highly recommend it at any time.
Testing: Knew I was going to the GP yesterday, so tested before I went and got a SUPER faint line on a FRER. Urine test at doctor's was negative, but I'd just taken one at home and the nurse said theirs aren't as sensitive as FRER. Took a Meijer-brand cheapie last night and definitely saw a super faint line. Took a FR digital this AM, BFN. Still waiting to hear from the doctor about the results of my blood test, though, so all hope is not lost!
R/R/CS: I seriously shouldn't have started testing so early, I only did because I knew I was going to the doctor. But now I'm totally psyching myself out! Trying to stay busy today, which isn't hard considering work is crazy, my car is in the shop, and I have a performance tonight.
GTKY: Do you get along with your in-laws? Yes and no. DH's family are all SUPER extroverted, and they don't really understand my need to just be away from people. BIL and his wife are sorta assholes, but they just had a baby who is adorable, so I'll try not to hate them just so I can spend time with my niece. They're all also pretty flaky, we moved about 4 hours away a year ago and none of them have come to visit so far, though his mom and brother and crew are coming tomorrow. Wish me luck.

Still waiting for AF to show up... Can it be late for reasons other than being KU? I know you can O late and that make your cycle longer, but this is my longest LP so far, too. My chart seems pretty clear on an O day.
@houseofsetters - I still think you ovulated on those CH. and I have a dip like that just about every chart between 7-9 DPO.
@MelissaM090 - FX for you still I think charting can be soothing bt also stressful at times. I'm a researcher by nature so I like collecting data points.
@PepperAT - I'm crazy nervous I'm going to have a super strong AF since it's getting to be late. I feel ya on rushing to the bathroom! FX it doesn't come for you. I'm still crampless and symptomless. My work bag is packed with one of those heating pads that stick to your pants and tons of tampons. Aaaany minute now...
@linzrunz - I don't have PMDD, but a lot of cycles I get very anxious leading up to my period. I don't take anything for anxiety. I know this sounds lame, but I pray when it hits me and a lot of times I can work through it. I imagine positive mantras may do the same.
@MooFish2364 - I've not been tested. My OB said if I don't get KU by a year, she's thinking of doing a lap to look for endo. I kind of want to do an HSG first? Jumping to lap seems so dramatic.
<b>RRCS</b>: Probably will have to throw out today's temp. The puppy-dog woke me up and 330 (one hour early), and so I just temped for whatever sake at 340 and got up and let him out. Super low. Temp at real time, 430AM, was slightly lower, then the time at 630AM was way high. Ughh. lol I can't win! But at least it doesn't really matter right now, just have to wait till I get closer to a legit time to test... Here's my chart with the temp at the correct time, even if it was sleep-deprived: <img title="Image: https://us.v-cdn.net/5020794/uploads/editor/rg/8iagrcmgu41a.jpg" alt="" src="https://us.v-cdn.net/5020794/uploads/editor/rg/8iagrcmgu41a.jpg" height="412" width="427">
<b>GTKY</b>: My MiL is pretty great, but of course we all have our funny things, and she is no different. FiL too, is really sweet and great in a lot of ways, but there are others that cause DH and I much grief. My SiL is great, she has two kids already and is more like an older sister I never had, even though she's younger than DH by a couple years. My BiL doesn't come out to as much of the family stuff, but he and DH are working on that... like any family, it takes all kinds! lol
@kenya715 and @khbearFingers crossed for both of you! I have a very strong feeling that I won't need to test, but if nothing happens I will on Saturday morning.
@MooFish2364 It was really good! Kinda short and rushed, but I really enjoyed it.
R/R/CS: WOW, i am so excited to be here. this is the first time i've been in the TWW in six months KNOWING that i ovulated (all thanks to clomid+ the ovidrel shot). the only other time i was here, i was completely wrong about my cycle and hadn't ovulated at all. i took the Ovidrel shot on tuesday evening, and i am assuming i ovulated sometime on wednesday, as i felt a bit crampy. we're going to HIO one last time tonight just for good measure. i don't actually expect to get KU this cycle (i mean, what are the chances it works for us on the FIRST round? we've never been that lucky, at anything) so i don't think i'll do much testing. i'm just happy to be here. baby steps, amirght?
GTKY: Do you get along with your in-laws? yes, in small doses. they're all lovely and smart people, and very nice, but they're all new yorkers, and loud, and super high energy, which is like the opposite of me. so i get drained quickly. also, my mother in law can be a piece of work somtimes. high strung, overly emotional...i've learned to not let it bother me, but it can be hard when we're with them for long periods of time.
@1017Shannon I'm sorry you deal with this kind of stuff too. Definitely not fun. It took almost a year of actively trying to get DS#1 but only one month with DS#2. I have no idea what to expect for this one, but I'm anticipating it'll be a longer road.
Also, thank you @kenya715 and @khbear for the suggestions. I've really wanted to get into yoga and possibly meditation. I usually exercise on a regular basis, but tend to fall of the wagon during the TWW because of my symptoms.

@beary67 the relationship with your in-laws sounds amazing! I so wish mine could be like that! @kenya715 FX for you tomorrow! @khbear hope you have a great mini vacation @melissam090 ...I hope that one day temping can be a soothing thing for me. At this point it still just causes me anxiety and a lose sleep over it lol @PepperAT I felt the exact same way about the Jungle Book. @Danceitout FX on your blood tests
Month/Cycle: 3/3
CD/DPO: 14/2
Timing: -5,-1, 0, +1
Testing: Maybe 10 DPO because it's DH's birthday. Wouldn't that be a lovely birthday gift for him?
R/R/CS: Nothing really to say here... just playing the waiting game. I am really happy because I O'd earlier than expected. Which makes my future FW way better for timing. DH works out of town and the way they were all falling was when he was away working! Of course this can still change but I am happy for now lol
GTKY: Do you get along with your in-laws? My FIL in amazing. Easy going and when he comes to visit he just does renos/ and fixes my house. What could I possibly complain about? MIL is also really great but she can be a bit overbearing and forgets that it's not her house. They live across the country so we usually only see they about 4 times a year (I need to add that she also put a minimum on how many times we see them a year)
For Christmas this year we received flights to visit them every year in the summer. Yes I know it sounds bratty, it's an extremely "generous" gift. But there was definitely selfish motives behind the gift. What if we don't want to visit every year and use our summer vacation for the specific reason? ...again I understand how ungrateful I sound atm.

@sammajane19 who knew ovulating could be so exciting?! It's amazing how all of this changes your life. FX for you this cycle. You just never know what can happen!
R/R/CS: I feel like my cycle is all over the place. One month, the length is 28 days, and the next month it's 33. So frustrating! But this is the first month we've been trying and charting, so hopefully I can get tuned into all the happenings of my body and learn when I am actually ovulating...
GTKY: Do you get along with your in-laws? Mostly, yes. His mom means well, and he has... well... too many guys he calls dad.
R/R/CS: I just want to apologize for being an AW TW yesterday. For many reasons, I was in a funk yesterday, and I let it all out on here. Really? Whining bc getting ktfy didn't happen in cycle 2? I'm embaraased. I appreciate those of you that offered support even though I was an ass. I didn't test or temp this morning and I think I am just going to give myself a few days to breathe without it. I feel much better already. I've got some serious cramps this morning so I am sure AF is on her way.
GTKY: Do you get along with your in-laws? This is such a loaded question. A lot like you @khbear I thought everything was great and we were really close until H and I got engaged/married. When we started planning the wedding s*** got weird. It has been multiplied and compounded since the arrival of DS and I eventually stopped caring about them as people. I will never interfere with them seeing their grandson, but they have been so horrible to me and H that (for my own mental health) I cannot invest in them emotionally. Similar situation with my SIL/BIL as you @danceitout, I am trying not to dislike them for the sake of my niece. I am super jealous of all of you with great relationships with your Inlaws. I always wanted that, but reality sucks sometimes.

CD/DPO: 45/9
Timing:-4,-2,0,+1
Testing: tomorrow

CD/DPO: 16/1
Timing: -9, -7, -4, -3, -1, 0
CD/DPO: 29/11
Timing: -3, -2, -1
Testing: Tomorrow!
(In a good mood today, so here's a happy gif)
CD/DPO: 27/13
Timing: -3, -1, 0

@khbear hopefully you don't have endo. Have you been tested? Have a great weekend getaway.
@teamginger13 I hope everything works out with your RE. Hopefully you can come up with a good plan.
@PepperAT how was the Jungle Book?
@linzrunz I still can't believe that she not only hit you, but that she thought that it was ok to physically discipline your child too. I would be so furious!!
CD/DPO: 23/10
Timing: Great
Testing: today BFN on cheapie

@kenya715 FX for you tomorrow!
@khbear hope you have a great mini vacation
@melissam090 ...I hope that one day temping can be a soothing thing for me. At this point it still just causes me anxiety and a lose sleep over it lol
@PepperAT I felt the exact same way about the Jungle Book.
@Danceitout FX on your blood tests
