I'm hoping someone is around and willing to talk me off my BSC SS ledge. Please smack me over my (theoretical) head until I fully comprehend that:
- Even though I thought 8DPO was an acceptable day to test (barely), I was mistaken. I'm only 7DPO and therefore what I'm convinced was a squinter is really just a figment of my imagination.
- The cramps I'm feeling are not freaking 'implantation cramps', they're probably just like, constipation.
- My increasingly high temperatures are just because it's been warm in the bedroom, I don't have anything that looks like a triphasic chart.
- I'm tired because I'M TIRED. Crazy week.
Jesus Christ I've never been this bad before. I feel like those crazy newbies who post dumb questions and get flamed. I need a dose of reality please.

@MelissaM090 I googled "exhaustion at 7 dpo" earlier and was thoroughly entertained by all the gag inducing sunshine and rainbows that happened on countless other sites. Totally brought me down from the beginning of a BSC SS episode and had my giggling by the end.
My weekend has already started off awesome... With DH being a complete a-hole. This is our first real weekend together in what feels like forever (he is almost always working at least one day during the weekend if not both) and now I don't even want to be near him. But he did make tacos for dinner so... There's that.

So deciding what to have for dinner/deciding who cooks said meal is a freaking full time job in my house. I swear greater than half my conversations with DH end up with him asking what's for dinner, regardless of what time it is. All week I've been good about picking, shopping for, cooking, and cleaning up dinner. Tonight DH was home 2 hours before me and didn't bring up dinner. Get home, still no mention of dinner, 2 hours pass and he asks if I'm hungry. I say yes. He asks what I'd like. I say the golden words....you know the ones I'm talking about...the ones he uses allllllllll the time: "it doesn't matter". He gets a bit pissy and then walks away. It's now almost 10pm and we still haven't had dinner. Ugh, I'm so hungry but I refuse to lose. I get that this is a very childish fight but I want to win damn it. So now I'm scarfing crackers and peanut butter in the other room while he still refuses to make anything!
WEEKEND!! I'm going to the beach with my mom tomorrow for her birthday. I'm so excited! I need it so badly after this week at work, and next week is going to be just as bad.
@aammyy33 my DH and I do that too!! When it's my turn, I have meals planned way ahead of time. When it's his turn... He calls me at like 430... At work... Asking what I want for dinner. I hate it! Then usually he fixed some steaks (which he knows I'm not a fan of) and calls that dinner. No veggies. No carbs. No salad. No sides. Just steak. He has gotten better over the years (tonight he made tacos) but it took a lot of standing my ground. Good luck! Haha

@linzrunz My H does the damn steak thing too! Every time he seems so proud of himself and every time I have to remind him that I am not a fan of steak and that something on the side would be nice. Sometimes if I am lucky there is a potatoe waiting for me, but common! haha
@aammyy33 Good luck girl! I have been there before. Hopefully something good comes out of this standoff.
Update: He is now making food. It contains three ingredients. Pasta, canned alfredo sauce, and sausages. I'll take it! If I'm lucky it will be ready by 11pm. But I will eat every last bite.

@MamaMunn- this is the book I found. I saw it on Pinterest. It wasn't too expensive. I haven't had much of a chance to get too far in it, but it's kind of cool. I like that it gives you a chance to write notes and questions. I also found a "PCOS Cookbook" that a friend recommended, too. I might order that next week.
I'm going to a Prince tribute party tomorrow! DH is being a trooper and agreeing to go even though it's literally just because I have so few friends and would be crushed if I couldn't find anyone to go. I posted about it in other threads but for some reason his passing is hitting me hard and I'm excited to go celebrate his legacy. Also, KQED put together the most perfect compilation of Prince gifs so please forgive me in advance if all my posts for the foreseeable future are littered with them. Not surprisingly, many are perfect for TTC related topics.
Also, also, I just had an utterly delightful cupcake. I mean, it tasted like a little fluffy, moist taste of chocolatey heaven. So good!

I have this too. I leafed through it and it looks good. I meant to actually pick it up and read it after my initial RE appointment but forgot about it. I should go find this now... It's around here somewhere...

My 2 year old has been sick off and on for 3 weeks now. It started with flu like symptoms but has continued with a fever at least part of the day everyday since. Now this week we've had awful bouts of diarrhea and constipation added to the mix. We spent several hours at her pediatricians office (closed them down and still were there an hour after they turned off the main lights) doing everything we could in office to try to avoid admitting her. She's stable but very miserable and there's an expected abdominal obstruction. We go back in in the morning for labs and panels and an abdominal ultrasound (unless she declines overnight, then we go straight to the er). I'm worried. Her abdomen is slightly distended, she's clammy and pale and she has bags under her eyes. I've been trying to not be "hypercondriac mom" but something is definitely up. They're tossing around talk of thyroid or gluten issues. We'll be doing a complete celiac panel. Fingers crossed everything comes back normal and we just need to make some mild dietary changes to get her system back on track. I'm so tired of seeing my baby girl uncomfortable.
But this is my weekend. Snuggled up to my sweet doodle.

There's yet another new brewery (this time a cidery!) opening in town today, plus another beer release, so we're meeting up with my bestie and her boyfriend around 3 to go drink all the yummy brewed things, and then we have reservations at our favorite restaurant at 9. I slept for nine hours in preparation. Didn't wake up until after 8:30. You guys. I NEVER sleep past 7. I feel like a f'ing champ right now.
@MonaLisaRalphio Ha! I feel like that but for the opposite reason. I am usually really crabby on less than 8 hours of sleep and hate getting up before 8. It's 7am my time, I only slept about 5.5 hours, and I've already woken DH up to GDTPT and now I may go to the gym. I don't know who I am anymore.
@MonaLisaRalphio Where do you live with all these breweries opening?! (More of a hypothetical question, you know, internet safety and all.) Enjoy your afternoon!

I'm about to go shopping for the first time in forever.
I just read a thread on the 1st Tri board that really bothered me though (if you're having a bad TTC day I really recommend not looking for it), that's what I get for lurking those pages.
DD born PPROM preemie at 36 weeks on 10/1/17 after over a year TI, then 3 failed IUIs, and finally a successful IVF FET.
Due with #2 5/2/19 after HIO once in my FW, because apparently that's how life works now. Team Blue!
@MelissaM090 I googled "exhaustion at 7 dpo" earlier and was thoroughly entertained by all the gag inducing sunshine and rainbows that happened on countless other sites. Totally brought me down from the beginning of a BSC SS episode and had my giggling by the end.
Ahaha. Love it! I started to type "my feet are cold 8dpo" yesterday into Google. And then I read what I had typed and was like, "No, you're better than this." and closed my laptop. OH was like, "What's so funny?" and I'm like, "There's a weird part of the Internet where women think that their poop being green or their teeth feeling sensitive means they're pregnant... and I just about went there."
I was lurking on 1st Tri and read the meanest comment that I've ever read on the Bump. Seriously. I think what I said in response wasn't that bad but hopefully I don't get a warning. I just can't with people these last few days. I should probably just stay indoors and away from the public.

You saw the same one I did, that comment was so nasty. Your response was not bad at all. I wanted to respond, but I just sat here like

@Lecool- I had to go do some stalking over there after you posted that. Holy hell what is wrong with people?! I cannot stand women who come on this board just to cause trouble. She's obviously really upset about something and is taking it out on others. I don't think you would deserve to be reported for calling her out on her bullshit.
@lecool I'm glad you wrote what you did. That girl was horrible! I feel like @mrsdee15probably read the same thread. Glad she apparently skipped right over TTC and we didn't have to deal with her attitude here
