@simcal18 I would not do it, honestly. I was sent to a nutritionist many years ago and she was useless. Told me to order the breadsticks without the topping. 1) that would make them useless and 2) so the two times a year I have breadsticks, holding the butter will help? What do you think I eat??? Second, suggested diet sodas, which studies have shown actually mess with your body (taste sweet so you make more insulin but there is no actual sugar for the insulin to process or something).
I would try to get out of it, if your doctor is concerned you might want to make some sort of other agreement like you'll food journal to show her you're eating fine, or you'll keep your weight under a certain point for a certain time period or something. But really, she ought to leave you alone unless there are actual problems.
This belongs in WTF but it's Thurs so I'm venting here. I leave Sun for our Fl trip and received the advice to try and cover up (i.e. Maxi skirts dresses or capris). Ok fine. So I just spent the last TWO HOURS in the mall and came out empty handed. I literally tried on every single item in motherhood maternity. This in between stage sucks ass. Regular clothes are tight but I'm not fully in maternity. This is going to be DDs first time in Disney and I want to look ok in the pics. Ok vent over thanks.
@JamieK1882 , i think the capris are a little too busy for the top you have on, but since you said "ignore the shirt", i'm hoping you hip it up with like a tank top that's plain (white or black maybe?) and a fedora hat?
@annabenanna ooh a fedora would be perfect with this and a tank! My issue is that they're cargo capris which I'm not normally a fan of. I didn't buy anything yet. I'm getting a pedicure and trying to plot my next move.
@JamieK1882 the Capris can work, my suggestions are similar to @annabenanna 's. Minus the fedora, but that's just my preference! I am also curious about your shoes
@JamieK1882 Yeah that is crazy. Someone just posted on facebook: "At least when that plane crash killed Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and The Big Bopper, it was one horrible incident, then the world got to move on. 2016 is really the 'tearing the bandaid off super slowly' year." Truth... first Bowie, now Prince...
I walked 4 blocks to Jimmy John's (gasp-lunch meat!) for my $1 sub only to be told that the location wasn't participating! Dammit I got my sub anyways, walked 4 blocks back to the office, and demolished it. I'm still hungry.
I was complaining about back pain to my friend, and she gifted me a Snoogle via Amazon. So sweet! TBH, I didn't want to buy one because I think they're so expensive! Anyway, I got it in the mail yesterday, and apparently, I'm not the only one excited to use it.
@JamieK1882 I hear ya! I just went to Destination maternity but all the dresses were big and fit weird. Another failed attempt at maternity clothes shopping.
There is no TW, BF or WTF thread for Thursday so I'm putting this here. WTF to my husband who has been saying for MONTHS that he needs to trade his jeep in before he hits 100k miles because the value will decrease. He kept saying it and saying it and wouldn't pull the trigger. Well, my lease was up so I traded in and got my Mommy-mobile so he decided it was time for him to get a baby friendly car too. Now we're upside down in this car by nearly 4k because he waited too long. I'm so mad. I hate being a grown up.

OH gosh @Mrscorker, I'd be super pissed too! I'm so sorry! Has he already traded in the jeep? Maybe he can sell it to a private party and get more $$ than trading it in?
@rozANDbenSINCE2001 , I can't believe how comfortable it is! It's no wonder the men try and steal it! Although SO did complain this morning that because of the snoogle, we can't spoon properly anymore. LOL.

He works in the car business as a finance manager and the dealership where he works is giving him the absolute best deal he's going to get anywhere. The car needs a lot of work to pass inspection so while he could get more by selling privately, the cost of the repairs would off-set that. It is what it is, he needs a baby friendly car and I know we have time before the baby will be here but the longer he drives it, the more it's value will decrease. Time to suck it up buttercup.

Ladies who want to stock up on diapers target has the buy two big boxes (hughiea, pampers or their brand)get a $10 gift card. If you get the up and up brand there is an $8 off coupon on the website when you spend $50 (so need another up and up item, go buy some tp or something) and I think something on cartwheel.
Did anyone else get panicky right before they went public with their announcement? I "shouldn't" have a reason to worry-u/s and appointments have been fine, but we're putting it on fb next week and now I'm all like "well maybe I should wait for my next appt just to be safe." DH thinks I'm nuts.
Also, I'm starting to try and plan outfits for our Orlando trip. I don't want to start a new thread, but if you guys don't mind, can you judge some of these outfits? It's going to be 90 when we're there-2 days in theme parks then a day doing who knows what with my husbands college buddy. I want to cover up as much as I can (re Zika), but with the hot temps it's hard. And I can't tell if I'm being smart or way too over cautious, so opinions on these outfits please! (Posting 4 pics...)
@JamieK1882 cute outfits!! The only thing I'd suggest is to wear pants/capris for Disney. They might be a little more breathable than the skirt (it will be HOT waiting in lines) and people may step on the ends of the skirt -- lots of crowds there.
Thanks ladies. Honestly the skirt is cooler than the pants which is why I picked that for the Disney day. DH is no help at all. He's like "well don't dress Amish" and "what are the chances you'll be the FIRST person in the US to contract Zika?" Which is why I'm second-guessing it all now.
Re: Weekly Randoms (4/18)
She did balloon animals and hats and a few (children's) party games. It was really super awkward.

What shoes are you wearing with it?
