Question about weight gain/loss in pregnancy. Is it normal to lose a few pounds early on? I know it's normal not to "gain" initially, and I didn't until well into second trimester with my first, but this time I'm losing and haven't been throwing up or anything. I'm about 4 lbs lighter than when I got my first positive. I'm still running but only every other day, so less often than pre-pregnancy. Could it be muscle loss that quickly? Should I be forcing myself to eat more calories? I haven't had a big appetite the last few weeks and my diet is so different from last time (now dairy/gluten free & reduced sugar). Just not sure what to make of it. Not panicking but want to make sure it's normal.
