I am in a good mood. Off work for 5 days, sitting in the sun, and listening to Justin Bieber radio.
So why is having a baby in October so great!? I have a list thought up but I'll just share a few:
-You can put your little baby in snuggly footie pjs all winter
-We have all fall/winter to work off baby weight for summer
-I am excited that my extended family will get to see my newborn during the holiday season
-The 12week fmla will cover past new years, yeessss
Re: Why an October baby is the bomb
- Won't have to worry about making it to the hospital in a blizzard
- For those into this type of thing (I'm undecided still), we can paint a cute pumpkin on our bumps!
Also, all the holidays with a new baby!!!
Also, I was born in October
I'm also excited for the possibility of Halloween-themed parties - they don't celebrate Halloween in Germany so that could be really fun and different!
DS#2 due 25 April 2019
In between, there will be cute sundresses to accentuate our bumps. And plenty of nice juicy watermelon during second tri cravings.
Also glad I didn't have morning sickness during holiday eating. I love my Thanksgiving dinner; glad I didn't have to miss out on it!
-adorable baby's first Christmas pics and cards
-being at home for the holidays
-sweatshirts and sweaters to cover the post baby blump
-baby buntings for winter, just so cute
Also, adorable sundresses all summer long, snuggling a sweet newborn all winter long, fall
themed birthday parties. Seriously. October is the perfect month. My DD was born in early Januray and TBH, her birthday blows.

@AshleyGemini24 yes very very good reason!!!
I am glad I will be home for the holidays, not having to request the time off will be amazing. Also snuggling with a new born on cold frost mornings.
October is my favorite month, so I love the idea of an October baby. My birthday is in October, I love the Fall, and I love Halloween.
And being in Alabama means that October is usually still a pretty mild month, although it can be unpredictable. It could be 88 degrees one day and a hurricane the next, with snow after that! But usually it's a nice mild month- I won't be giving birth in a blizzard or in a heat wave either hopefully.
So I'm pretty excited about an October baby!
Sorry to be the debbie downer of the post.. but one thing I am a little worried about is postpartum depression during the winter months.
All right, done with my rant about my one issue with October babies not being the bomb. #whompwhomp
