  Not that I know of! If she registers herself I may FREAK OUT. But I'm pretty sure the same people are going to her shower that came to my shower for H's side of the family. I just can't get over that this is actually happening.

  @bankssl1 I can't believe she's actually going through with it!  My guess is she'll get mostly small stuff like books, stuff that nice to have but you don't want to have to travel with with you visit her.  Hopefully people are freaking sane and don't give her an all out shower with all the bells and whistles.  Also, I'm curious if you were to go if she eoudl expect a gift from you since its a grandma shower so she's the guest of honor...there are so many things wrong with this, I just can't deal with it.

  @bankssl1 Part of me wishes you'd go and live bump us the whole time about what's happening. I'd also love to see how people would react to celebrating her becoming a grandma with you in the room, looking pregnant as all hell.

  @bankssl1 man. This is a movie script waiting to happen. What if they give her gifts assuming she will be passing them along to you? What if they're buying off your registry? What will the get her? A snack tray that attaches to her walker/stroller combo? A baby bottle opener gripper? Matching GMA and baby reading glasses for story time? Or best of all, a book on etiquette for dummies.

  @Sgoldberg247 @WinniethePoohsPants @HBamama2B Y'all are cracking me up!!! I am almost positive it will be a full on shower with all of the bells and whistles. A part of me wants to go just to see how things will play out, but the majority of me says HELL NO! I also have to share this pic with you from my shower Sunday. MIL is the one all up on me.. The reason I'm leaning towards her is becuase my sweet mother wanted my belly to cover up her belly!

  So, I am sad to admit this, but I just now discovered this thread. I am typically using my mobile app (which I don't love) so am not on it long enough to explore all of the threads out there. 219 pages to catch up on.....holy moly! Being that I am 4 weeks away from my scheduled c-section, I might have just enough time to catch up on the happenings in here before I deliver! I've read bits and pieces so far and there have been some interesting/hilarious conversations. Sad to have missed out on it this long!

  Hope everyone is well. Had my shower this weekend cried like a baby about 10 times before during and after. It was amazing ! I know some of yours is coming up too enjoy it.  Sorry I've been Mia the past few days I've been doing his nursery and unpacking plus I'm so tired. Anyone else not have third trimester energy ? 
  
  most people have gone over to FB how is it over there? i'm coming too !!!!

  I told H last night that I wasn't going and he got all butt hurt about it. He said that its still a celebration of our baby and it would make him feel better if I would go. I said absolutley not and he could go in my place if he would like.. Luckily my neice has her first dance recital the same day so I have a good excuse not to go.

  I've heard of the second trimester energy surge (which didn't last nearly as long as I would have liked), but third trimester energy? Nope. Doesn't exist. It's a mythical unicorn.

  I seriously want to lay around like a beached whale all day, everyday. I actually forced myself to take my existing children to the zoo a few weeks ago because I knew feeling like a sluggish lump was on the horizon.

  I've had some energy the last few weeks. I feel pretty good at the moment but could change at any moment. I didn't have energy with my first. I think I had one good day of nesting and it wasn't even that good. I think the only reason I have energy now is cause I have a 3 yr old so I just have to get up and do it. The first I could just lay around and relax.

  Count me in on the zero energy train! I really, really, REALLY need to get stuff put away and organized from our baby showers, but by the time I get home all I have the energy to do is lay on the couch.

  I'm on the struggle bus too.. I went to sleep at 8:00 a few nights ago and then called in late to work so I could keep sleeping. I can only get things done on the weekends becuase I am just SO.TIRED. Is it June yet??

  I have been craving nothing but sweets. I have barely been hungry. I ate cake for breakfast and plan to have some again for lunch. I am serioussly debating going to the bakery and picking up donuts before they close.

  The countdown is on. I reminded everyone today that my EDD is in 47 days. Everytime someone at work pisses me off, I sing(badly) the chorus of that song by Europe in the Geico commercial....."Its the final countdown!!!!!"  They shut up real quick and walk away. Yeah, piss me off and I could get my OB to fill out paperwork for me to go on leave early....not that I want to. I am trying to train my employees properly before I leave but sometimes....
