  • @Michi1382 That has been me every time I ask DH to bring me food. It's just slightly the wrong thing even though he knows what I like, it's super disappointing.

The only box I've packed so far is the baby clothes. DH is working today and I have lots of time to get packing done without him, but I'd love to go get my haircut instead and do some errands. Adulting is not fun today.
  • I have to look at food porn until I can confirm that the BK near us serves Whoppers at this time.
  • @nataliemaephotography adulting is never fun when you're pregnant and all you want is the food that is floating in your head. Are you guys moving?

  • I'm working on this beautiful day and I don't want to, whaaaa!

  • @Michi1382 Yeah we're still fighting with the mortgage company to try and get the house that accepted our offer, if that doesn't pan out we'll be renting his uncles house. Our current landlord is useless so we're getting out before the baby comes.
  • @ByeBabyBunting boooo! I hope you get out soon.

Ugh, mortgage companies can be such a pain--we've dealt with them as well. I hope everything works out for the best and quick.

  • Tonight is DHs night. He leaves at 7:30am for work and will get home whenever he is done enjoying his free time. I have the kids all day and its snowing which means I don't want to take them outside. I couldn't find my phone anywhere last night. I found it this morning, in the fridge, kids. I cannot find the remote to our TV anywhere. I do rely on TV periodically through the day. Today will be a long and very messy day. Someone give me ideas on ways to entertain my kids, haha!!

    Things to do today:
    Dance party
    dress up
    drawing/coloring
    puzzles
    reading books
    very long bathtime

  • Hubby and I got in a fight last night (caught him in a lie that happened 2 years ago).  I let it go, yes it bothered me he lied but it was 2 years ago, not much we can do about it now so I just told him I was upset he lied to me and I don't want him lying so easily.  Ya well then HE got mad at ME! How that's justified I don't know! He started saying I don't let things go, even though he was admitting to not letting it go, and he wanted some time alone.  *shakes head* I swear I don't understand where he comes from sometimes....I guess it's good training for when our child is 3 because that is seriously how he acts.

  • @LauraPCOS I'm sorry. Been there before too. I actually have a hard time letting stuff go and DH gets really upset about it. Its the same crap over and over again with mine so I complain and remind him how he continues to do the same thing. My argument is: if you don't want to hear it then stop doing this lame stuff repeatedly!!! You are driving me crazy. I don't ENJOY nagging you. Grow up and do the right thing. Men can be such children. His parents keep telling me that I can't treat him like a child. I know BUT seriously he acts like one and I can't let some of these things go. Sorry I don't have any useful advice just voicing similar frustrations.

  • I was feeling miserable today so I took a nap this afternoon
then I woke up feeling even more miserable... blehh

  • I'm tired of looking like a teenager. I am thankful for having youthful skin and whatever, but I feel like it is keeping people from taking me seriously unless they already know me. I don't like being stared at like a cast member of 16 and pregnant, and have 3 other kids by my side, and I don't like the college kids trying to get me into their trends and relate to me and shit... Go away, I don't want to be your friend, I'm not one of your youngster kind and don't understand you!
  • I was so looking forward to getting my energy back after the first trimester was over but then I got hit with a cold last week and a freakin stomach virus yesterday and I am relegated to the couch when all I want to do is go outside and enjoy the nice weather  :'(

  • @lindzsers That absolutely stinks! I hope you feel better.

I get you there. I love that I look about 10 years younger than I am, but it gets rough when people don't take you seriously. At least now I'm not getting judgy looks from people who think I'm to old to be pregnant. The acne that just started certainly helps I suppose...
  • Oh... my petty thing...
We are moving this August and I have too many things. I have to de-clutter in a serious way, and I don't want to. Those are my things!!! oh well.

I have the same problem. I'm sure I'll appreciate it later, but my husband is 8 years older than me and I look young. I've been mistaken for his daughter more than once.

  • I was just napping so well. Windows open, birds chirping, and then the phone rings. some clearly elderly man was screaming at me demanding to know who I am because I allegedly called him??? i politely told him to F off and hung up. now I'm awake.
  • I have two.
I want to start the nursery but I am too lazy to do the 3 flights of stairs to bring my office stuff to the basement.
My 3 year old won't nap today and I'm freaking exhausted!

Mine are the pettiest of petty problems.  I requested brunch out this morning because I really wanted roasted potatoes at the restaurant we normally go to for brunch.  The potatoes were not very good today.  Then we went to a cafe that sells Japanese candy because I've been wanting to go back for months.  They were closed.  At noon on a Saturday.  We even waited an hour to see if they might open later on weekends.  No dice.  Then we got home and my husband drank my room temperature water while I was putting our toddler down for a nap.  He refilled the glass with water from the fridge, but I grumped at him because it was too cold.  Yep.  I may be a tad hormonal.
  • I only had one day off work this week and had to use it for the appointment so it feels like I've been a responsible adult for the past like 10 days straight and I'm supposed to go to a party with friends now but I'm just so tired. /whine

  • @mrszoess I think telemarketers have upped the call-spoofing lately. I've gotten a couple of different people calling me saying they got a call from my number, when they did not. Luckily mine didn't yell! I'm on the Do Not Call list but it hasn't stopped some companies. Grr.

  • @rainmira9e I was gonna kill this guy. thankfully I got another half hour in.
  • DH usually has off on Sunday's but his work just decided to open from 11-4 and didn't tell him until today. It's supposed to be really nice out and we were gonna have a date day and sit outside somewhere for lunch. I'm super bummed about it. I've reached out to a few people go try and make plans because I don't want to sit at home on a beautiful day but everyone is busy :(

  • My Stauffer's entree takes too long to cook.
  • I wanted tortilla chips to eat my salsa (I really just want to eat it with a spoon, but my pride won't allow it) so I walked to the drug store 2 blocks away. The chips were $4.50 a bag. Hellllll no! Now I just stare at my tub of delicious salsa longingly and cry.

  • @turtlemomma you have far better restraint than me. I spent 3'dollars on pizza Pringles Friday.
  • @TurtleMomma OMG I would be eating it with a spoon. Because I have been majorly craving salsa and EUROPE DOESN'T HAVE ANY. WTF.

  • I know it's Sunday, but oh well. Hubby just said to me that he wants to find out the sex in a fun way. So now I'm having to google "gender reveal ideas" and find a way that we could do it without us even knowing. Ugh! I just want to know at the US, I don't want to have to do all this! But he was so cute about it, I couldn't say no.  :/

EUROPE DOESNT HAVE SALSA? does Amazon work in Europe? can I send you some?
I would love you forever! Unfortunately good salsa is a fresh produce and therefore illegal to bring into the EU. I once smuggled a container in my checked luggage insulated with cold packs and it was SO worth the legal risk, haha.

there is no salsa in Tanzania either but if you have a blender it's super easy to make at home! (to be honest, I've even done it without a blender, but the blender really helps)

    Homemade salsa is the best!

  • @ladyshark311 I feel ya! We went out to dinner last night & everyone around me was drinking wine. I was moody anyway but I then spent dinner whining about how much I miss wine...
