@mclorn and @ShayLatrice thanks for your responses. I finally got my BFP and will be 7 weeks tomorrow! I've been on Crinone since before my FET, but RE just added PIO three days ago due to placenta attachment bleeding. I really hate the shots and am hoping I can get off of it soon.
@khochanadel so glad you're headed home, rest and cook those babies you amazing lady! I can't believe some of our group is already in third trimester. Thinking and praying for all our multiples moms! maybe need to dust off my dance moves and come up with a baby stay put dance.
@rachd110 Congratulations! What wonderful news. So happy for you! To your question, I was on PIO until week 9. Wishing you a H&H nine months!
@Rachd110 I was on progesterone shots until week 10 as well as progesterone inserts. I ended up having an allergic reaction to the oil it was in about halfway through and had to get a compounding pharmacy to change up the oils. That helped. I was super swollen and itchy. I am 22 weeks pregnant now and I still see some evidence of where those shots were going into. Hope they fade soon! Good luck!! Congratulations on your bfp!!!
@khochanadel I'm glad you get to bed rest from home! I am 22 weeks with mono di twins and had to have laser ablation surgery last week because they got twin to twin transfusion syndrome stage 2. I am glad to be home after being in the hospital. I'll be in bed trying not to go into early labor. You have made it to 30 plus!!! That's wonderful! I hope they stay in as long as possible!!! Lots and lots of positive vibes going your way.
@Isabelfuentes2015 good luck to you and your littles! Being in the hospital is the suck for sure. I was definitely scared about TTTS but managed to avoid it. I'm thankful for every day that they stay in there! Good luck with bed rest. I'm only a few days in but I find keeping a routine and finding things to do really helps me feel more normal.
@Rachd110congrats on 7 weeks! Such a milestone to make it that far already! @Isabelfuentes2015 Glad you and babies seem to be recovering well! So glad to get an update from you! @Hbamama2B YES we need more dances from you! @khochanadel You're doing awesome! Such an accomplishment to be where you are! I anxiously await updates from you! My friend just had her twins today at 34w6d. Babies are doing GREAT! We will all get there, too. I'll be 30 weeks tomorrow so that is just so awesome. Our nursery furniture finally arrived so we are feeling "settled" and things are definitely getting real.... Love and best wishes to all!!!
DH and I found some new midwives that we like. Off to the adventure that is planned home birth. Can't believe I'm 30 weeks. This is crazy!
Yay I am so glad you get to have the birth you want. I survived my first week on bed rest and am officially 32 weeks, which means at the very least, I'll get to deliver at our 2nd choice hospital with my same group of doctors. Of course I am going to keep them in there until 34+ so we can do 1st choice!
Hey ladies! I've been keeping up w the board the last few weeks while browsing at work, finally sitting down and posting.
@khochanadel so happy to see your update as I was writing this, 32 weeks is a huge milestone, so glad your girls are doing well! Hopefully they'll hang in there for at least a couple more weeks. Hope bed rest isn't driving you too crazy!
Not much new for me, finally in the third trimester! I have my 4D ultrasound and start birthing classes next weekend, this is getting real! I've been extremely lucky and have had an easy pregnancy so far- no puking, no illness. I'm getting a feeling this trimester might make up for it, though, just to keep it fair haha. I feel like I'm huge for 28 weeks, DH found some stretchies already on the underside of my belly that I couldn't see. Just these past couple of weeks I have suddenly found it harder to bend over and move around, hopefully I won't feel too bad in the next couple of months as I'm planning on working as long as possible.
Speaking of my job, I'm also in a bit of an awkward situation. My company has been having layoffs the last year and it's looking like my department is no long safe. I'm planning on being a SAHM after the baby comes so it wouldn't be the end of the world if I got laid off, at this point I just want to finish up projects and save up some more $$ before we're a one-income household. Assuming they don't just layoff or furlough my entire department, I don't really forsee just myself getting laid off as a) I'm working on some high-priority projects b) I'm on a bachelor's salary, it'd probably would make more sense to lay off the pHDs that make far more $$ than me c) laying off preggars lady = potential legal mess. The reason I feel really awkward about this, though, is I have a coworker that needs a work visa renewed this year and I'd feel terrible if he got deported. Hoping my company is smart and offers "voluntary layoffs" with decent packages and I'll go ahead and take it

I feel Like I disappeared... I am here still going strong with the Wilson Twins I have a tiny foot stuffed into my rib as I type but I am loving every minute of it. Bedrest is for the birds I am trying to work from home but its difficult to stay on task when you are soooooooo tired.... but I am doing what I can to keep these kids in and growing until 35.6 weeks which realistically is a week and a few days away....Obviously I would love them to grow longer But I have resigned myself to making small babies. @33weeks + the twins are 4.2lbs and 3.7lbs I have an ultrasound and BPP again today and then a growth scan this Friday to see if I have grown them bigger.....lol. I honestly think its going to be a situation where they tell me to stay at the hospital rather than going home after each visit. I am waiting on the word....

Knottie24173360! Agreed, bed rest is for the birds. We're both in the same boat of being laid up and exhausted, trying to work from bed, and trying to keep babies in as long as possible! FX for the both of us
@caitiemaeUgh that is an awkward situation, and adds some stress, no doubt, that you really don't need right now. My work is in a bad spot as well. I only want to come back to work 2-3 days a week so it also wouldn't be the end of the world if I have to figure another position out. Sorry to hear about your co-workers and I hope it is all handled professionally and as fair as possible. Glad to hear from you and that your pregnancy is going so well! @khochanadel and @Knottie24173360ah bed rest.... keep those babies cooking as long as possible and know that you're in a great spot! We've all come SO far.
I had an appointment yesterday (30 weeks) and all is well. Fortunately nothing to report there! In sad news, my dad's cancer (Leukemia) came back and my mom drove him to the hospital this morning to start the stem cell transplant process. He has been doing chemo on and off (more on than off) for the past 12 months and at this point they consider it a failure . They gave him a 50/50 chance of the transplant working. Either it works or well, it doesn't..... best case scenario he will be in a very delicate state and in the hospital for 6-8 weeks. So this makes for a very bittersweet timeline. He will most likely not see the babies born. And family will be going back and forth between two hospitals, and I won't be able to be with my daddy. This is all just too sad to actually be happening. Send lots of prayers and positive vibes. He has been so strong this past year but I could see this breaking him. And of course my mom is a complete wreck. Sorry for the downer. Just processing this all.
@mclorn You and your daddy will be in my prayers. Dads are strong. I pray he will heal and come through this as painless as possible and recover quickly so he can enjoy his grandbabies.
Well my hospital requires twins to be 35 weeks gestation in order NOT to go to the nicu. So that is our goal... bed rest, appointments, ultrasounds.....repeat lol

Water broke this morning! I'm in the hospital until babies get here, which could be today, could be a week from now. Good news is my bed rest from home worked and I didn't dilate any more.

Wow. Keeping my fingers crossed everything goes very well! Will they be trying to add fluid or prepare for delivery? Thinking of you lady!

Apparently the placenta keeps making more fluid even after membranes rupture! Our bodies are so freaking amazing. Of course they have me on IV antibiotics to fight any infection that might want to take advantage of the situation.
@khochanadel wow, this is getting real! Best of luck with your soon-to-be delivery! Glad you made it to 32 weeks, those little girls will have developed lungs and will adorable, healthy, cute, little babies! Can't wait to see actual baby pictures!
@mclorn So sorry to hear about your father. Prayers to you and your family during this rough time. Your little ones will definitely be the source of joy to your family in these tough times.

@khochanadel aaahhhhhh!! and today is another day; how'd your night go?!?!?!?!? xoxoxoxo
Hope your dad is hanging in there!
Babies still look good and are holding out on making me labor so far. They have me on all these things that make me feel crappy and getting any kind of real sleep in here is impossible. I'm muddling through though.
It seems like only yesterday I was doing FET along side y'all. Today I'm celebrating my babies birthdays! No pics yet but I will be sure to update soon.
Alexandra Joy arrived at 12 : 31 am at 4 lbs 6 oz. Elise Royal followed at 12 : 47 at 3 lbs 7 oz.
@khochanadel how are you and your little ladies doing?
Babies continue to do well for being so tiny. I'm just trying to keep up and get this pumping thing down but it is really hard. Postpartum wise I am bouncing back very well though! Baby Alexandra had to get a lumbar puncture today which scared the sh!t out of me but she handled it like a champ and early results for the scary stuff came back negative.
Not that all the scary stuff has me awake at all times of the day... What day is it again?
@khochanadel To help with pumping have you spoken with lactation? The hospital should have someone available for questions. Awe:( Poor Alexandra. So glad she was a brave girl and did so well. I will keep you three in my thoughts (and prayers). Day by day mama! You got this!

Yes I have met with the LC twice, and I keep asking for her. I will take full advantage!
