R/R/CS: Nothing super freaky seems to be going on lately, so knock on wood that this cycle stays relatively normal. Also, I gave in and ordered a set of 5 of the thinx underwear that I've been eyeing, so if AF does happen to arrive this month I'll be trying those out.

I've been on an AVP and Predator kick lately and it shows lol. I've been watching the movies, reading the books, and searching for fanfiction online. (Don't judge me, the made-up Predator culture is super interesting and I have a history and anthopology background so I'm fascinated.) My profile picture is just a giant predator's face and mask and my username is actually in the Predator language (but it's raunchy so I won't translate it lol).

name is just my first initial and maiden name, it was the generic one I was given when I made my account 3yrs ago now I don't know how to change it.

R/R/CS: AF didn't show yesterday, had minor cramping but that was it. Today my temp sky rocketed but I don't trust it due to waking up in the middle of the night and tossing and turning for a bit. I also have horrible left side cramps currently.

I told DH about my temp drop yesterday and how I'm pretty sure I'm out. I have a consultation for testing a week from Monday and he agreed to go with me without me asking him. I mentioned in passing that they want a $250 down payment and he threw a fit. I explained their reasoning is that insurance doesn't cover it and they want to be sure we will pay. Now he's all worried how much everything is going to cost. We've always been on the fence on whether to try with help or adopt. As much as I want to carry a child financially it might be better for us to adopt. We have a lot to discuss.

Up early this morning. Now all I want to do is go back to bed.

Testing: Let the bsc begin. BFN today but I know it is early so I was expecting it... but couldn't stop my self.

I had a dream though right before I woke up that yesterday H and I went on a family road trip with his side of the family. When we got there his mom made me sleep in their bedroom instead of with him. I had to sleep on couch cushions on the floor and I had forgotten most of my stuff (like a pillow), I was so mad. I woke up in the morning before everyone else and decided to take a hpt (because i remembered those and the little cups, dont ask me). While I was mid catch his mom just barges right in and starts yelling at me that I am inconsiderate because I'm in the bathroom, I pretend I am wiping and tell her to get out. I call out for the hubz but all of a sudden my voice doesn't work and she just continued yelling at me while I was in such an awkward position. She finally left and I took the test but it was so messed up I couldn't tell what it said.
Freaking weird dreams that make no sense!! Also I should add IRL the MIL wouldn't ever do this.

R/R/CS: temps are still up. No symptoms to spot.. which is not fun when you have bsc syndrome. nothing to do.

no significance in the name purposely. The picture is from when the hubz and I went to Busch Gardens years ago and it is a little animal guy sitting funny.

My name is a Michigan State reference with a random number I like. My picture is a fave from our wedding, although I have been wanting to change it so look for a future rebranding.

Testing: I thought I was out due to the last few days of lower temps, but today my temp went back way up and I just couldn't help myself. I thought I saw the squintiest of squinters that ever squinted on my online cheapie, and took an EPT and saw another squinty squinter. I'm definitely going to stick around here a bit longer (if you'll have me) because it's still SO early and I need to see something less squinty.

R/R/CS: My plan today is to do all the laundry! And finish my current book so I can start on our book club book

This question was asked a few mos ago, which prompted a LOT of us to change usernames, myself included lol. I'm a big fan of 90s rock, and one of my favorite bands is Pearl Jam. I particularly like the song Rats off one of their earlier albums, the lyrics are pretty spot on for how I feel about people vs animals sometimes. As for the pic, there's a bunch of pictures on the internet of this rat with his teeny tiny teddy bears, and I love them. I've decided to name this one Igor, because he looks like an Igor, no?

im a Star Wars nerd so that's where my username comes from. And the picture is me and DH when we were first together. It's always been one of my favorite pictures of us. Although I've been considering changing the pic so it's less recognizable as far as my identity goes.

I told BumpAdmin about it and they said to send them the pic I want and I did a few months ago but they still haven't put it up. It's supposed to be a picture of my cat.

big temp drop today and yesterday and I really just want AF to hurry up and get here so I can get on to next cycle.

My rant is that DH is on some meds that make it harder for him to get off. Before TTC, it wasn't a big deal. We'd have sex I felt done, and then if he couldn't get off, we would finish a different way (hopefully this isn't tmi, basically we make out while he jerks off--it's actually fun....unless you want to be KU)
it happened again last night and even though we're in the TWW, it really upset me. He's talking about taking the meds at night instead of in the AM (which I think will cause insomnia) or taking a half dose when I'm fertile (and I'm not sure how smart that is...) so maybe one of those things will help. I'm just frustrated by it and I don't want to put extra pressure on him, but I think he knows how I feel anyway.

after going to 5!! Stores lookin for a new black dresser for the hubs since his broke, finally found one at a going out of business store that I love so much I want to go back and get a second to replace mine. His dresser is bigger than mine now. Plus it's nice to replace our early married days ikea furniture.

GYKY: it's been my log in since junior high. I love snow. I even have a snowflake tattoo on my ankle. I think it's magical. I love that no two flakes are the same and that its just water, the most abundant substance on earth, but under the right circumstances turns into something beautiful.

Testing: I tested on a lot of cheapies and gave up when I was suppose to have my period. I had a first response that I used like 3 days before my period and BFN. AF was suppose to be here last Sunday/Monday. Woke up at 5am and tested on a EPT randomly and BFP.

R/R/CS: I'm still in shock. I am not a morning person at all and I haven't been able to go back to bed. I haven't posted the last fews days because I wasn't sure which board to even post in. I thought I was out and even just moved over to the WTO board yesterday. I thought that I didn't ovulate so I was just waiting. I was sick this month too so my temps were all messed up and I just stopped temping because it was frustrating. I figured AF didn't come because of all the stress with my brother and his wedding BS.

R/R/CS: got all up in my head all week swearing I'd get a BFP (crazy on cycle 1, I know) but today AF came. Really bummed me out. Now it's another month of waiting and figuring out my irregular cycle... I think I have alternating cycles. Odd months it's about 32 days, even months it's about 39 days long. So... Long cycle time. Agh!!

I'm still kind of upset. I'll be explaining things when he wakes up. my profile picture holds much significance to me. It's an orange Lukemia awareness ribbon inside the body of a butterfly. In 2014 my husband was suddenly diagnosed with AML and had to be treated very aggressively to save his life. During this time I almost lost him and it was terrifying. Thankfully though he survived and is currently in remission and doing great.
The butterfly holds significance because I have always had a fear of butterflies (it's okay to laugh!). they freak me right out. when DH got better, I did a challenge for the Canadian Cancer Society called "face your fears" I did some fundraising and if I met my personal goal I had to face my fear and walk through a butterfly conservatory and hold a butterfly.
I did meet my goal and I did face my fear.. it was not fun but I'd do anything for DH

R/R/CS: My temp came up a bit today but still no clue what the deal is. I've been having on and off cramps too. Almost feels like my period is coming but it's way too early for that. Attaching my chart. This is my first full month of charting so maybe I normally get a dip halfway through my luteal phase. Who knows. I took off the CH because it was literally changing every day. I also ordered some wandfo's last week so fx they get here before I leave next Friday for a friend's bach party. Hope everyone is trying to enjoying the rest of the weekend!

Congrats to the ladies with BFP!

****Question***
Soo I'm out as of this morning. Started spotting last night and woke up to full blown AF. Disappointing but only our first cycle trying so not too surprising. The thing is though that today would have been only 9 or 10 DPO. I used OPKs to estimate O and it was on CD21 or 22. Is a short luteal phase like this something to be concerned about? I've only had two cycles off BC so far and they were both 30 days (I didn't track O in the first one though). I didn't temp but am starting--took my first one this morning.

@PaukMeKiande I use thinx and I love them! Best purchase ever. They fit tight but thats how they are supposed to.

My name is Beth and most little kids pronounce it as Beff. A college friend heard a kid we were babysitting call me "Beff," and it stuck with those friends and then DH. And I just like the number 12 (deep, right?!).
My profile picture is from Christmas of 2012 when I was pregnant with DD. It's at my parents' house and it's with DH and our dog!

Question:
For those of you who said you have change or are planning on changing your usernames, how do you do this? It turns out that the "." In my username makes it not work when people try and tag me and it's also occurred to me I should have picked a less identifying name since I'm not telling ppl IRL that we're ttc and who knows who I might run into here. I can't seem to find a way to change it though

@Jenna.Armstrong You can't do it directly through the bump. But if you go to the knot and login with your bump credentials there is an option to change your username. That change will carry over to the bump!
