@comealongponds (or anyone else more than 8w4d) since you are further along than I, would you say there is a turning point yet in nausea/exhaustion? Are you getting a reprieve at all (if you even suffer from those)
Exhaustion is a wee bit better, still hard t get up in the morning but once I'm up and caffeinated I'm okay...I stayed up til 1130 last night and didn't nap during the day! That said, I'm not working at the moment, so once I go back it may come bite me in the ass again lol.
Nausea-wise I got blessed with my mama's good genes (she never had morning sickness). I have a bit of nausea now and then, but it usually passes easily with either ginger candy/ale or a snack. I have good days and bad (bad for me anyways) but it hasn't really changed much yet.
My newest irritation is dysgeusia - my mouth tastes like garbage unless I'm eating or drinking something...I'm gonna get fat lol. That settled in around the start of week 9...hoping it doesn't last too much longer.
I got to work and came upon a card & gift on my desk from one of my coworkers. For no reason, just because. It was very sweet and has made this a great start to the day!
My random is I can't figure out the siggy thing to save my life. Tickers won't show up and gifs don't move. The announcement that included siggy stuff wasn't very helpful.

@HomeyDontPlayThat I'm 10+2. Weeks 8 & 9 were by far the worst for me. I feel like I've turned the corner this week. Very little nausea and no throwing up so far. I'm still bloated, tired and constipated. I would say overall I'm feeling a lot better this week. I hope that you get relief soon!
Just tried to Doppler the heart beats again, expecting nothing (retroverted uterus and still quite early). Lo and behold, I found one! The second I set the wand down I found one of the babies, heart rate of 176 So thrilled!
I lost it after a minute or so when I went to try and find the other baby, but I did manage to get a 10 second vid to share with DH and family.
@comealongponds Lucky! I've been trying but can't find tiny person's heartbeat. From the look of my scan yesterday, it looks like my placenta is anterior and so I don't think I'll be able to hear it for at least another couple of weeks.

i just figured this out. you have to press that little </> this up there and paste an HTML code while the box is highlighted. Then save. I had to get a ticker from a webite other than the bump. Theirs wouldnt work.
My mom was decorating sugar cookies with my daughter and she unknowingly dropped a bottle of red food coloring on the floor. Our puppy chewed it open and now I'm googling how to get these stains out of every surface on the first floor. Including hardwood flooring. He has stained my 1.5yo beautiful hardwood flooring. WAH.

Omfg. Brutal, sorry chica. My toddler spilled my coffee this morning all over my dining room carpet. I got a peanut buster parfait to console myself. It might help you too.
@HomeyDontPlayThat I genuinely considered ordering *another* chocolate ganache cake from my favorite bakery. I did that a couple weeks ago ("nope, no writing on it, I'm just eating it.") and it was gone in a blissful 2 days.
@shevaCC he is really stinkin cute. However, he also just chewed through one of her bottles. He's only cute enough for three catastrophes in one day though, so he better spend the last one wisely...
My Facebook life has improved dramatically since I figured out how to hide people from my newsfeed. I love seeing your pictures of your family or those yummy food videos you share. However, I think it's really unfair for you to post 3 or 4 times in a day about these amazing products that I can purchase through you. Its annoying! I don't want to join your team. I have a job and I don't want to funnel that money into MLM so I can basically pay myself by buying my own products.
Election season also causes me to use the unfollow function quite frequently. Sorry Uncle who posts about Boobama and Hillary for Prison on the daily, you are UNFOLLOWED!

Oh I know! In past years I just disabled my Facebook around Election Day and a few weeks following. I have my opinions but I don't have to make you and everyone else agree with it too!
I'm feeling like a brat because the OB practice that I go to, got rid of the 13-week NT scan and replaced it with a more accurate blood test (the one that also has gender).
I think it's great to have a more accurate test but.....I want that ultrasound
Just realized I will be pregnant the rest of the election season. I'm not sure if I can keep my hormones in check when people start ranting about it at work. There's no unfollow button there
I had such a great day at work, enjoyed the sun after work and got subway with my friend !! Now it's a movie night. Super thankful that tomorrow is Friday and on Saturday we might be getting a kitten! Who looks just like my 20 year old cat lol.
Apparently this parasite is part carnivore...I can't stomach salad and have been subsisting on rice, pasta, and bread, but tonight steak sounded (and then actually tasted) awesome.

Ah I'm so jealous!!! I'd give up the ultrasound in a heartbeat to know the sex 2 months earlier. I'm definitely going to ask my OB this time how much I'll have to pay out of pocket to get that test instead. Also it would make me feel so much better to have the more accurate genetic screening.

@kilgravemademedoit that's no fun! Hope you get to find it soon
Now I just gotta figure out the siggy gifs
And by 'lucky' I mean Mediterranean take-out.
