We had an elective ultrasound today. While it is still too early to be certain for sure, she thought one was a girl, just didn't want to promise it to us. The other nugget was partying too much to sit still and try and peak. we go back in 4 weeks to find out for sure!
I'm glad you were both able to hear it! When she asked I got sweaty and wasn't thinking clearly so I don't blame you for forgetting where the buttons are
When our office calls I'm going to have them call back and leave a voicemail with the sex so I can listen with my husband after work... I hope they will do it! I had my blood drawn last Monday so I'm really hoping we find out this week!
@LGW2015 i wont find out till my bday May 9th as well. My gender scan is April 20th. Its gonna be hard to wait til then! Are you buying clothes already? I haven't bought a thing. Is that bad!!!
I've been fine not knowing until the A/S this whole time but now with all these announcements, I have the itch to know!! Ugh haha we won't find out until the second week of May at 19 weeks. We bought a few outfits, whatever we could find that was gender neutral but I'm just dying to buy all those cute little outfits that aren't gender neutral!
We are having a boy!!!!! I found out at our NT scan yday. The tech said, "whelp your measuring a whole week ahead, so your due date is gonna be 10/7 instead of 10/14.... also I can clearly tell what you are having if you wanna know? (we said yes). " Then he said "look here, those are the legs.... and right here.... it looks like you're growing a penis!" We laughed so hard. So happy right now!
Has anyone successfully found out the sex but not revealed it to anyone else? Or revealed at the shower? My curiosity is tempting me away from team green, but selfishly, I don't want to get a bunch of cutesy, super gendered clothes at our shower. I'd rather get things we really need, and I'd like toys, nursery decor, and some clothing to stay as gender neutral as possible.
We did this with my first. We found out at the 20 week scan and had the cake at the baby shower do the revealing. I didn't want a lot of clothes; instead I got a whole lot of bath towels and baby blankets. There were some older ladies that were annoyed that we wouldn't tell, but oh well. You can't please everyone and I wanted to make it a big deal for my mom as she got to cut the cake.
I did slip up once to my granny - who caught it, and once with my mom - who thought I did it on purpose to confuse her.
For those of you who took the MaterniT21 test, how long did it take to get your results? I am on day 13 since I had the bloodwork done. The lab said it should be done by today at the latest (10 days from when they received) but my Dr office says they still don't have the results. I am so anxious to hear that everything is ok and find out the sex!

Got my bloodwork back and I'm all clear (low risk) for the trisomies and having a GIRL!!! My DS has been calling her "sister" since day one- looks like he was right. We're thrilled. My SIL is due with a girl in a month and we all (MH, SIL, BIL) started crying when we got the results (we would have cried if it was a boy, too).
Got the results of Harmony today and everything looks good and it's a girl!! I always thought I would be a mom of only boys so I have to get used to the idea of a girl, ah! But I'm excited we will have one of each now (and we are prob done!).
I think I might get the extra genetic testing (that also identifies the second) done for peace of mind, since even though it's not covered by insurance I found out that the max out of pocket is not very expensive. Kinda excited and nervous! Did anyone have the Panorama test done? I see a lot of the other names and I think the tests are pretty similar but just wondering....
@UponAStar16 I did Panorama for DD and for this baby (also a girl, we found out yesterday!). Took about 10 days for results both times and I've been very pleased with the customer service experience.
So far it looks like we're jumping on the boy bandwagon! Saw the little bean yesterday at the NT scan and he was flashing us like crazy! We're only 13 weeks, so we aren't telling anyone except parents right now, but so far we're team blue.

Sorry @mrszoess , do they have to do it again? And do you have to go to that specific lab? Just wondering if you could maybe try another facility that does it too.
@gatormom2014 they couldn't even run it because they didn't have enough dna, so now I'm at the mercy of ultrasounds which makes me nuts since I am probably the least patient person you will ever meet lol
It's a BOY!!!!!! We got our Verifi results today, everything came back normal and we're having a boy! I'm so excited and so glad I bailed on team green lol. It feels so good to know more about our little man!
I called today to check on our MaterniT21 test because my anxiety is absolutely killing me....no results yet, but the nurse says she is "very hopeful" the results will be in tomorrow. FX! I'm about to lose it!
