I also think it's who it was in the comic books. DH is convinced it's Rick based on what was said but I think there's no way they can kill him off. I feel like we've already said goodbye to Eugene by acknowledging that he's grown and become an asset, and didn't we all feel like he was already a goner when he left in the RV? Or Abraham because he's admitted that he could settle down and create a life there... I think both are fair indications that something bad is going to happen. But if they follow the comic books then they can maximize the heartbreak from other characters. My only caveat to that is there's so many people who know how it happens in the comic books that it's not going to stay secret for long, and why wouldn't they just show it? Unless they plan to change it up.
My husband definitely thinks it's the same person who was killed in the comics. Or it could be the one who doesn't exist in the comics, but I doubt it. I think they'll probably stick to the comics for now, considering they seem to be pretty consistent with the portrayal of Negan, right down to the dialogue.
@noelietrex@Nerdchild I definitely don't think it's Carl or Rick because of the comics, and I also don't think they'd do that to a woman.
*SPOILERS*
I know the person who isn't in the comics could be a likely person to kill off, but he's such a favorite I don't see it happening. However, he does have another show at the moment on the same network riding motorcycles around the country...
I felt like Abraham was almost saying goodbye because of the way he told Sasha he'd like to have that kind of life with her and told Eugene how proud he is of him.
We watch Talking Dead after, and the creators were like "The person who dies changes how things are for everyone next season. That's he story of next season". I feel like Abraham and Eugene aren't as important to do such a thing, but the character who isn't in the comics would.
I don't know. I'm nauseous over the thought of someone dying the way they did.
Edit: I DON'T know who was actually killed in this scene in the comics, but my husband just told me he found out. Now I'm sad, because it's not who I thought necessarily lol
I agree that Abraham and Eugene aren't important enough. That's why I'd rather it be one of them lol. And I had the same thought about the other character....if the actor has time to film another show.....but I don't think it's him. Just a gut feeling. Side note; did you catch Chris Hardwick's comment about the other show? "Do they just give out vibrators with that or...?"
@ButterMyBiscuit my hospital actually has a pregnancy app maybe yours does too and on it they have a kick counter I have already used it too many times because this kid wants to freak me out and wait till the last second to get her kicks in
@noelietrex@Nerdchild@jennyleigh16I think it's Glenn because he's almost died too many times and they need to break up him and Maggie. Also it would be heartbreaking considering Maggie's current state and the fact that she's lost all of her other family. I don't think it's the other character even though that's what happened in the comics bc it's too obvious. Also the fact that he has another show coming on AMC makes it looks like they killed him off. I think that is just a big mind fuck for all of us. I'm also hoping the one who got Lucilled is the one who got it in the comics bc I'm sick of him. I'd be fine with Abraham also.
I definitely think it's either Glenn or Daryl too. Most likely Glenn. Everyone loves him and it shakes the show just enough. Esp if Maggie pulls through with the baby. Glenn won me over for the show though, it will be heartbreaking. Well, it's going to be heartbreaking no matter what.

I believe it's Glenn. I always thought it was between Dryal and Glenn and when Dryal got shot in the shoulder and they left us thinking he could be dead, it pretty much made him safe from meeting Lucille. I've been watching YouTube videos trying to figure out who it is and they all point to Glenn. They hardly show him during the eenie meenie game and when they do Negan doesn't actually say anything in front of him, just puts the bat in his face. Which looks almost exactly the way in the comic books. Also when the bat swings down and the blood shows on the camera it's exactly how it is on Glenn's face in the comics. Another theory, only him and Eugean had a view line of the trees and like PP said Eugean isn't that big of a character and it won't have a life changing effect on the group. My guess is that Glenn is the one who died, Maggie lost the baby and she goes over to Hill Top (like in the comics) and takes over having "lost it all".
When Negan starts beating him, he says something along the lines of "Take it like a champ" which is, I think, pretty much exactly what he says to Glenn at that moment in the comics. All signs point to Glenn at this point, as far as I can see. I haven't actually read all the comics, but I'm taking my cues from my husband (who, ironically, is also named Glenn).
Question for those of you in the medical field/fellow nurses.... Given that it will be July do you plan on asking not to have any medical students or brand new residents in the room? I plan on an epidural and work in anesthesia so I know just how scary a brand new resident can be but I also know when the time comes I will feel bad grilling someone on their experience.
@CarbAddict - I am a nurse delivering in the hospital that I work at, but it isn't a teaching hospital. While I understand the value of hands-on education I don't think I'd be comfortable with someone doing their first anesthesia or surgical rotation.
I don't mind having nursing students working with me or the baby though...I know how excited I was to do my L&D rotation and it can be difficult to see anything with the limited time there.

Once again... Lurking from D15. I actually had a resident do my epidural. The man had magic fingers. I only felt the lidocaine needle.
@CarbAddict if you aren't comfortable say so. I'm delivering at a network hospital and I don't want residents if I can help it. I also don't want a nursing student placing my foley etc. I'm fine with them following my case, but not at my expense. I'm an ICU RN.
I had a new nurse shadow my L&D nurse. She was only allowed to do blood pressure, temperature and adjust fetal monitoring. I went epidural free and with that nurse it honestly made it much more difficult. She kept putting the blood pressure cuff on inside out so it would pop off and she'd have to do it again. She brought 3 different digital thermometers swearing none of them were working right. In effect, it meant she was touching and bothering me during contractions because she didn't know what she was doing. I know they have to learn on someone and I'm too nice to say anything. My husband and the other nurse helped me a few times and told her when she needed to wait a minute or get help.
@CarbAddict I'm not in the medical field, but the hospital I deliver at is a teaching hospital. I delivered DS in April, and initially requested no residents for my epidural. They said OK but that it'd be 2 hours until a doctor could see me. Additionally, they noted that the residents start in June, and that the resident who would be available to do mine had a ton of experience... and could do it immediately. I couldn't stand the contractions anymore, so I went for the instant relief. The guy was awesome. A week earlier, though, I had a resident check me for dilation, and after being elbow-deep in my lady bits for a good 5 minutes, he told the midwife he couldn't find my cervix.
With delivering in July this time around, potentially only a month after some of these people have started, I'm very nervous to let any of them near my spine with a needle. I'm mainly just hoping it's a slow day when I go into labor and that a doctor is available when I arrive.
ETA: Re - kick counters... am I the only old-school person who uses a piece of paper?
@soberkfell I didn't count at all last time. DD moved all the time and I'm not a worrier. It seemed like something to be paranoid about so I just told the doctor no. He didn't seem to care. So I might be really the weird one...
@whataboutscienceOne morning I realized I couldn't remember the last time I felt DS kick, so I freaked out. I ended up going to the hospital for monitoring - he was just fine... in a spot he wasn't normally, so I may have not been noticing his kicks/jabs as movement. After that, my doctor gave me a form to fill out every night to count his kicks.
I put in my leave request at the gym yesterday (it's not paid or anything, it's just so I can come back after baby). I don't know if I chose a date too soon or too late. I teach Zumba and I'll be 32 weeks. And there's no way to really know until that day comes.. Ughhh it's just a stupid thing on my mind a lot right now.

Same. My OB never asked me to count, just asked if I could feel movement from time to time.
If you're taking maternity pictures how far along will you be? I have mine scheduled at the end of May and I'll be around 34 weeks, just wondering if that's a good time to get them done.
