Nothing really planned at the moment, so probably a lot of couch laziness.  We were talking about getting some take out Thai at some point, and maybe going to the movies.
Um @MrsDho11, we should be best friends. This is my favorite kind of weekend.

I'm savoring all of my "do nothing" weekends. Only 33 (FX) more chances! Netflix and chill for me this weekend! Oh, and the massive piles of laundry I mentioned in FFFC.
Heck yeah, @MissAmeliaPond ! FFSC it's a lot of my just general days lately too...

Although right now I'm hiding in the bedroom because DH just made himself lunch that he's eating on the couch and the smell made me sick.

Dude that would use all my energy for a full week at least. I want to nap just thinking about it. I walked around the baby show for two hours this morning, came home & ate, then napped. Now I'm waiting for DH to be ready for hot wings and poutine!

  • @NatashaSprout I'm 5'2 and my husband is 6' and we have the ergo sport model, and it is easy to adjust between the two of us. I had the infant insert and I really liked it. I'm getting a ktan this time too since I predict I'll be baby wearing even more now that I have a toddler, and I just want to mix it up a little. I'm sure I'll still use my ergo a ton though.

I somehow finished (in 78 minutes) but man do I feel like crap. Just took a 2-hr + nap and have zero desire to get out of bed.

ETA: and now I want wings!

My boys were super close in age so I was always wearing the baby and holding the toddler. I used Mai tais then. Wish I still had them. Had about 10 in different colors to match my outfits! Now we wil buy just 1 or 2 carriers cause this is the last kid.

It's like a freaking blizzard here. WTH!

    ETA Happy birthday!
  • @NatashaSprout, the ergo was hands down my favorite carrier from 4 months to now with both kids (DD is nearly 4 and 33lbs and still sometimes convinces us to carry her). I liked a wrap best prior to 4 months. I could never figure out how to adjust my ring sling.

Camp clean up day tomorrow, and then hopefully relaxing on Sunday. Between pregnancy, my real job, and the camp, I feel like I have 3 jobs lately.
Camp clean up, ooh what's that? Details.
H is the director of a summer camp. He just took over from the previous director who had been there for 40 years. The previous guy did a great job, but there is SO much cleaning and de-cluttering to do before the season starts! We have about 16 buildings (cabins, kitchen, rec hall, etc) and 11 acres, so it's a modest little camp in the woods but it's a lot of upkeep. Totally worth it, though. It's where we met as kids, we got married there 16 years later, and now we run it!

  • @kns1988 I went to sleep away camp for 10 years as a kid. It is the BEST. My camp friends and I are still super close and half my camp married each other. I cannot believe you run a camp?! That is like living the dream.
  • @Thewizardofrhythm, I love that you love camp! I wish every kid could experience it.

  • @HomeyDontPlayThat I'm jealous!  I've always wanted to go to Pike's Place.  We use their FISH Philosophy here at work (it's an employee engagement program that started their).  Anyway...someday when I visit my niece in WA I'll be checking it out!

We use it at my work too!! That's so cool to hear of someone else's work that uses it too

@MrsDepo - seriously!  I'm at the point where I consider just gagging a victory. :(
