This is the first weekend in several weeks that H and I have nothing do to...and its kind of nice. We have our weekly date night tonight. I originally told H that I wanted to go to our favorite Chinese place...but now I want Mexican so I hope he goes for it
Saturday and Sunday we have no plans, and its so strange! If its nice out, I'd like to take our chubby puppy on walk around the neighbor. It'll be a very short walk though because the poor guy can't make it very far. He's a 72lb English Bulldog lol. His walking time is limited. I should really clean out the room that will be the nursery and shampoo the carpets. Hopefully this nausea stays away.

Those are the BEST weekends. You can be as spontaneous as you like, or lay around and veg with no guilt. I'm jelly.
Pleaseeee post a pic of your pup, I love bulldogs. I wanna squish their fugly/adorable faces.
It's my birthday over the weekend and DH is planning to take me out for it. We'll see. He's well intentioned but I don't think he lined up a babysitter (and my morning sickness has kicked into overdrive).
Like @ShallowSeas nothing really planned which is rare, going to enjoy it! DD has a pair of Huarache sneakers which are sooo cute (we all have them) but they are a pain to get on her feet so we are going to the mall to get her a new pair this weekend but otherwise nothing set in stone.
It's gorgeous weather here so I'm going to take my boys to the Zoo, check out Pike Place market for all the amazing food. He loves the penguins. (back carry in the Ergo)
I work at the firehouse Saturday and will meet DH and kids at summer home Sunday. We do bite training, agility, obedience, search and rescue, police/ military dogs. So Sunday will be spent doing bite training. I am wondering how long I will actually be able to do it (safely). We are a team and the dogs training relys on both of us being very active and hands on.
@HomeyDontPlayThat I'm jealous! I've always wanted to go to Pike's Place. We use their FISH Philosophy here at work (it's an employee engagement program that started their). Anyway...someday when I visit my niece in WA I'll be checking it out!

I've been out of the baby phase for quite sometime, how's the Ergo? Do you recommend it? I feel like a FTM all over again.

I'll butt in here, I loved our Ergo! I only recently stopped keeping it in the car at all times. We used the heck out of it!
I think I'm going to get a Tula this time, but only because I'd like another option for colors and I've heard the support is maybe better than the Ergo?
There are a ton of carrier options, but the Ergo is a great choice!!
@natashasprout I cannot say enough good things about it. It saved my life. I waited so long to pull the trigger, got it when DS was 5 months but I used it every day after that. It enabled me to grocery shop, do chores around the house when he was clingy, he crashed in it, great for walks outside, amazing for bonding. It is super comfortable, there are many ways to wear it and adjust to your needs. You can start it at birth, just need to buy the infant insert up to a certain weight. It washes beautifully. I am a huge planner and obsessed about researching carriers, joined babywearing groups, all of that.
I will say, it's best to buy direct from Ergobaby because there are a LOT of fakes out there and it's incredibly hard to tell the difference. It doesn't bother some people, but for safety reasons I wanted the real deal. Little trick on that - put the carrier you want in your cart and leave it for a day. You'll get an email (if you're registered) telling you you "forgot to check out!" and it has a 15% off coupon. I found another coupon code on top of that that it let me stack so I got it shipped, 2 day and in my hands for only $100. They also hold their resale value incredibly well. I could sell mine today for $90 easy and it's over a year old.
I'm participating in the interviews for new students for my school. I'm really excited to see all the applicants. Husband and I will also be cleaning the heck out of the house since we have two applicants coming to stay with us the following weekend.
Besides that, sleep. Lots of sleep.

@HomeyDontPlayThat thanks for the info! One more question....I am 5'4" DH Is 6'3" will it easily adjust between the two of us?
It should, I've heard my GF say she had no problems with it and she's about your height, 5'3''. I'm 6', DH is 6'3" and he loved it too actually. He loved wearing DS in it. Only took minor adjustments, nothing annoying to revert back to my specs.
@mrsbigtime I definitely want to try a Tula this time as well. They make the cutest prints and one can never have too many carriers
@NatashaSprout Maybe look for a store where you can try on different carriers. My last pregnancy H and I went to a store that had an 8lb fake baby so we could both try carriers on and see what we liked.

We're hoping to enjoy the sunshine this weekend...maybe take the kids to the playground? And we're all going to see the Sounders (Seattle's MLS team) Saturday evening.
I definitely recommend the Ergo360, then baby can face outwards. Although if I could do it all over again, I think I would try a Lilliebaby. Currently I have a ktan, ring sling, Ergo360, Tula, and Lenny Lamb. The ring sling and ktan are amazing for when the babies are really small. Then the tula is the most comfortable for me, but DS likes the Ergo the best because he can face outwards.
This weekend we're really busy and I'm not looking forward to it. On Saturday were telling my parents during lunch and then in the evening were going to my friends sons birthday party at an ice rink. Sunday is my SILs gender reveal party. That's not even that busy, but it seems daunting.
Driving to MN (8hrs) with my husband and son to pick up a snowmobile and visit grandparents. They haven't met my son (7.5 months) yet, so it should be a good time.
Going to the baby show tomorrow with my mom and MIL because DH is working. The DH and I are having a date night (wings & a movie or Netflix binge). Sunday is just a lazy day! Probably we'll tidy up around the house and take the dog on a long walk
We are currently headed to Boston! Should be a fun little weekend trip. Visiting cousins who live outside of Boston, but I think we will spend most of tomorrow actually in the city.
Nothing planned! My in-laws are coming on Tuesday so we'll clean the crap out of our house. And I'll probably lay around and complain about my nausea, it's become unbearable.
Nothing really planned at the moment, so probably a lot of couch laziness. We were talking about getting some take out Thai at some point, and maybe going to the movies.

I have to work tomorrow. Barf. I really need to do our taxes...We're supposed to have my mom, brother & his new girlfriend over for dinner in Sunday. I kind of already want to cancel. I'm just to tired and nauseous to deal with it.
We have to seriously clean our place. It goes on the market this week, the photographer is coming on Tuesday, and our first open house is next Sunday. I have no idea how we're going to keep our place looking awesome with a two year old and dog running around. Really hoping we sell quickly!
Re: the ergo - my sister is 5 ft tall and it works on her. I've found it very easy to adjust! I didn't like it too much during the newborn phase though. Even with the infant insert, I never felt like my son was in quite the right position. I preferred the Baby Bjorn and my k'tan when he was teeny tiny.
Everyone with no plans, relax for me! Those are my favorite kind of weekends.

Um @MrsDho11, we should be best friends. This is my favorite kind of weekend.
I'm savoring all of my "do nothing" weekends. Only 33 (FX) more chances! Netflix and chill for me this weekend! Oh, and the massive piles of laundry I mentioned in FFFC.

DH is away this weekend. I have brunch with my girls tomorrow and my MIL is taking me to the baby and toddler show on Sunday.
