GTKY: (Stolen from WTO, unless someone can help me come up with a better one before we get rolling) How did you and DH/SO meet?
I think this is a great question and I'm glad you stole it from WTO @ladystinson
My DH and I went to PSU together. We met in the first week of classes at Beaver Stadium. I had befriended his best friend and so that's who introduced us. We didn't start dating until about a year after that though. Been together over 8 years now

Testing: Caved today, BFN
R/R/CS: My line eyes are getting so bad. Today's test was clearly negative but I wanted to see a squinter so bad. Between the lack of sleep and 2am testing, I got my hopes up way too high. DH is going to let me pick put some FRERs today since my progesterone runs out in 4 days and I need a definitive answer on needing a prescription refill ASAP or not. Feeling out but still a little hopeful.
Also, my dog was being such a TW yesterday because his stomach was all messed up. So I made him eggs last night. He's feeling better
GTKY: (Stolen from WTO, unless someone can help me come up with a better one before we get rolling) How did you and DH/SO meet? Oddly enough I just came out of a long relationship and was hanging out with a guy that I was interested in. We wen't to a hookah bar to hang out with some of his friends and I met DH there. I feel bad for the other guy, but DH and I hit it off so well that I ended up breaking off things with his friend so I could date him instead. There were definitely some hard feelings but it all worked itself out.

Testing: Trying my best to hold off until the 6th ( 13DPO) but maybe will start testing Monday at 11DPO . Trying to stay strong!
R/R/CS: I am pretty proud of myself lately. We have been really been doing well putting away more money than we have been, and I am doing really well not being tempted to dip into it. While we save , it is really hard to not want to splurge. Lately , I havnt even wanted to . Trying to save for a bigger house!
GTKY: (Stolen from WTO, unless someone can help me come up with a better one before we get rolling) How did you and DH/SO meet?
DH and I met through a mutual friend in HS in 2003. He was at the end of his Junior year, I was at the end of my Sophomore year. We did not go to the same HS. They knew each other through youth group at church (DH only went to please mom) . We both officially met at said mutual friends graduation party. We exchanged "AIM" screen names. The rest is history really. We spoke that night, and every night after. Had our first date 4 days later. Officially started dating as few days after that. We have been together ever since. We have never split up either. We got married in 2009.

R/R/CS: so yesterday in WTF Wednesday @nwegman7878and I were talking about our dogs being jerks. Well last night I let mine out back for awhile. I heard one of the barking, but didn't think anything of it, because they're a-holes and always bark. When I went to bring them in, one came in and my beagle looked like he was playing with a toy, and I saw fluff in the yard. Thought it was a toy or something....NOPE, they murdered a bunny I was SO upset and hormonal as hell with my fertility meds. I started bawling my eyes out, called my husband who was at work (meanwhile he's trying not to laugh at how ridiculous I'm being). I kept asking them "how could you do this???" Needless to say, it was traumatic, but I think they were pleased with themselves. My husband kept calling Toby (the beagle) a savage. Like, don't they know I'm too emotional for that???
also other rant is that I take a bus into the city for work, and this guy sat next to me and totally invaded my space. Again, fertility meds=crazy, I was so irritated.
GTKY: I love this! We met in college. I actually was really really good friends with his older brother since I first got to college. My husband took a year off after high school, and then went to community college for a year so he didn't start at my school until what would have been his junior year, my senior year. The very first time I met him, his brother came over to my house (we lived across the street from his fraternity brothers and we're all really good friends) and my husband was HAMMERED. He was throwing snack mix around all over my house and acting like an idiot. The next semester I dated one of his fraternity brothers who had already graduated briefly. I ended up spending a lot of time with my husband that semester. I ended up breaking up with the guy I was dating right before spring break, and that night my sorority had a social with DH's fraternity. We made out in a frat house kitchen (so romantic) and have been inseparable ever since. That was just over 8 years ago. Nobody took us seriously, because neither of us were the best at relationships, but it just worked!
sorry for the book!!
@ladystinson sorry for the temp drop and cramps

Testing: next week?
R/R/CS: The BCS is already out. I woke up this morning with the strongest cramps EVER. They were more like muscle spasms then normal period cramps. Of course tots a sign. Also I woke up at 3 a.m. excited about the home inspection and took awhile to fall back asleep, not sure if my temp should count. There was a drop today hopefully it raises back up.
GTKY: (Stolen from WTO, unless someone can help me come up with a better one before we get rolling) How did you and DH/SO meet? DH and I met at a party my ex-bf threw in VA in 2004. (We had already broken up) He was from MA and we talked on the phone, etc. for a couple of weeks but I ended up stopping calling back because of the distance. Then I went to visit my BFF at her parents' house in MA and they lived in the town next door so I texted him. I then blew him off for a week but he was persistent and finally the night before I left we met up. The rest is history and I ended up moving up here in 2005 and we got married in 2008!

PennStateCait Sorry for the BFN but FX your temp stays up!
canonmom413 Nice job on being able to put away some money. It's so easy to overlook day to day spending. DH and focusing on this right now too.
msirni0 OMG I'm so sorry that your dogs we're TW yesterday and killed a poor bunny. My DH would probably be proud of them for being able to do so, so I completely get you there. That's why mine's on a leash 95% of the time. I don't trust him at all. Last time he was left unsupervised on my in-laws deck, he was snout deep in grill grease. I love my dog but they can be total pains.
leksiL Gotta love when the BSC starts early. Just try to keep it at bay so you don't go poor POAS like I do.

R/R/CS: My cervix went from firm to softer the past two days. Good bloodflow is a good sign, so fingers crossed.
GTKY: How did you and DH/SO meet? OKCupid - it's like Amazon shopping for a partner! I had something about League of Legends in my profile as well as listing my languages as English and C++ (a coding language). He happened to do a search for LoL, and sent me a greeting embedded in a C++ snippet. We chatted back and forth all day, agreed to play LoL and Skype that evening, and when we were done he hit me with the line, "Okay, I haven't had dinner yet, so I'm going to eat an entire frozen pizza and a Klondike bar." Be still my heart! I invited him out to burgers instead. Within two weeks he asked me to move in with him and we've been avoiding frozen pizza ever since.

R/R/CS: Thanks to everyone for looking at my chart yesterday! My temp went back up today and was the highest it's been this cycle, so it seems like my body was just playing games with me yesterday. I'm looking forward to acupuncture tomorrow so I can see if my pulse is still the same as it was on Tuesday, which would be a good thing!
GTKY: Kind of a confusing story--my mom's best friend, who for the sake of the post, I will call JL, used to work where I currently work. DH's mom also works where I work. JL told DH's mom that I had just moved to this XXX area of our city, and DH's mom said her son also lives there. JL said we should meet each other, so DH's mom told me to give him a call, so I did. He invited me to a Kentucky Derby party right across the street from where I was living, and that's how we met. We've been together ever since, and he proposed to me at the same place we met for the Derby party. I also still work with his mom, so I see here almost every day!

@leksil It is still early, I hadn't really thought about that but it is still early. The BSC in me wants to believe that is the elusive implantation dip and cramps. I say they're bad enough to choke a horse but thats really only because I don't normally cramp at all before AF. maybe one or two dull cramps. We'll see. I'm just so uncertain about my O date because of being sick. FX'd I'm one of the weird implanters lol

@PennStateCait - I can't believe you are on CD33. I would hate having such a long cycle. Hopefully your weird temps are indicative of something good!
@nwegman7878 - How does the eggs help the pups? My pup has stomach issues all the time. I can't figure out if it's because he eats rocks (he grew up abused. ) or if it's because he always licks the carpet (we shampoo the carpet a lot, but supposedly the stuff is pet safe?) Also, ADORABLE, OMG
@canonmom413 - Good job saving, it's tough! I'm the saver and the shopper in my family... funny how that works out. But DH is always complaining when I freak out over pennies. Youth group is always a good place to meet people... I made a few bf that way. Ha.
@msirni0 - He killed a bunny right after Easter? awww. I would have cried too. Also, I have seeing such high numbers for your Month/Cycle.
@leksiL - Good thing he was persistent. lol. Mine was too, and I can't believe I blew him off.

R/R/CS: We overspent this month. I hate sitting down to do budget and seeing we went overboard. Since we are trying to build a good cushion since IUI/IVF is inevitable for us, it hurts seeing we saved less than I intended. Most of the time I can blame DH and his fast food addiction, But I think this time it's because we moved and we had three birthdays... I thought I left room for that in the budget, but apparently not enough. Paired with still being upset about the bad news we received last week (bad sperm counts, less than 1% chance of us conceiving naturally) I am an emotional mess. It's a coworkers birthday and I really wanted to get her something small, but I just can't. I need that money for our baby fund. I feel like such a b* though.
GTKY: (Stolen from WTO, unless someone can help me come up with a better one before we get rolling) How did you and DH/SO meet? My best friend in college was marrying her high school sweetheart. They wanted to get married in their home state. I was her MOH, so I flew out and spent a week helping her get ready for the big day (in Vegas). I met her husbands best man and he hit on me and we spent a little time together setting up for the wedding and such, even an evening hanging out because the bride and groom wanted to go on a last date. He took me to a casino and taught me to play blackjack (even used his money!). He drove me back to her place after and we were talking about relationships and he told me he was dating someone because the groom told him I was dating someone else (WRONG, both of us were single). After I went back home (Missouri) he was texting me and asked me out. I said no three times before I caved. He immediately came to visit and we did long distance for a while. What a good man for hanging in there. The rest is history....
Ugh, I love love. I love all these cute stories.

OMG it's painful, and it never happened until after I stopped using the NuvaRing BC. It also drove me crazy at first thinking it was a pregnancy symptom. HA, nope just my body messing with me. But now at least I know for sure when I've O'd. It's still a little annoying, but I guess it could be worse.
GTKY: (Stolen from WTO, unless someone can help me come up with a better one before we get rolling) How did you and DH/SO meet? The first time we met was at a high school party. Long story short, he tackled me to the ground in an attempt to save me from getting run over by two drunk friends on a tandem bicycle. I went around all night telling everyone he had saved my life lol. Fast forward to two years later, I got hired in at a restaurant where he was a manager. We both were in relationships at the time, but over about a year we became really good friends, and those relationships fell through. We got flirty eventually, and then he asked me to be his girlfriend at the beach in the middle of the night. That was in 2011, I was 18 and he was 22. Now we've been married since June 2015, we have 6 fur babies (2 dogs, 4 rats), and we can't wait to be parents!

After we left the bar I even went back over to his house (with everybody else) and hung out until like 2 AM. Finally I told him I had to get home and he walked me to the door and was just like "ok bye". I was like WHAT? I didn't see him again for A YEAR when we ran into each other at a new years party. TheJerilu Yeah. He usually doesn't get any people food up there are a number of food that we eat that are good for dogs as well. Eggs, chicken, and rice and bland and easy on the stomach when it's upset. And things like pumpkin puree are great for digestive health. I actually make him treats with peanut butter and pumpkin puree all the time.

we met at a bar down the shore - I lived there year round at that point but had a shore house with a bunch of other people for the summer of 2009 - he coincidentally had stayed in same shore house with the same core people I had in 2009 but he was there in 2007 - so he knew a lot of people down there - from different groups of my friends. I may have been a little intoxicated when I met him and he overheard me asking one of my friends "who is this guy and how the eff does he know everyone?!?" So we had a shot of Jameson together, he left, tracked me down on Facebook and after the 3rd time asking for my number I gave in and the rest is history

@nwegman7878 Sorry about the BFN, we're in the same-ish boat. I'm still hopeful at 11 dpo. I would give anything for a squinter. The amount of time I spend looking at the stick is insane. This morning when I had to take a digital it was almost relieving that I didn't have to spend 10 minutes interpreting it, bringing it into different lighting areas, tilting it this way and that.
@ladystinson I'm glad you're also in month 5 and also tested on 8 dpo this month. I feel like I should be getting better with POAS and holding out as the months go on but I just can't stand the TWW. I have no self control.
@msirni0 I would have cried too! and my DH probably would have done the same thing.
@LeksiL I was having the same feelings at 5 dpo and also had a case of the BSC. I'm still going BSC over here. I used to think I liked the TWW but now that I realize how crazy it makes me I think I've decided I don't like WTO or the TWW.
@TheJerilu FX for you! Also props for having the balls to check your cervix. Vaginas scare me so checking CM is about my limit but I so wish I could check my CP.
@beary67 Seems like our bodies are synced, mine was effing with me too. FX for you! Looking forward to hearing what your acupuncturist says! I just arranged my first appointment, can I ask how frequently they recommended you go? Trying to quote DH on a rough price now that I know the per visit costs.
@mommyforthefirsttime Yep, I ovulate later than usual anyway (cd 18) but I O'd even later this cycle because I was taking evening primrose oil to help my CM. But that's not even considered long in a medical sense, it's within normal range. It does suck though, I'd be much happier O'ing around cd14. Your story of how you met your DH is SO cute! Sounds so fateful how you met, so many events had to come together.
@slradske0626 Ahh that's crazy! I for some reason get NO physical signs that I O'd. I don't think I could stand painful nipples, but at least it's your body telling you something! Pretty cool, actually!

@nwegman7878 I've been trying to hide testing because I know how I want to tell DH but he's so excited and he helped me unpack groceries while I was doing the pee dance last night and he got the bag with the pee-stick box so he knew what was going on lol It was nice to know that I wasnt the only one seeing something though

The first time, was our first time unprotected ever, I took than Plan B pill. I knew something was up right away and I think I called him after every test. The second time, I have a cute little onesie I made that said "Daddy's New Gaming Buddy" but I was too excited and just woke him up and told him. This next time, I don't have anything explicitly planned so i'll probably just shake him awake like last time.
**TW over**
PennStateCait Yeah digitals are nice in that regard but since the sentitivity is 25miu vs the FRER at approximately 10, it's so easy to get a false negative. That possibility would make me crazy. I have one digital left but I'm picking up more FRER today.

Testing: Tomorrow because of drinking.
R/R/CS: Just expecting a BFN tomorrow, which means I can grab a drink at the airport bar tomorrow before flying to SF.
GTKY: (Stolen from WTO, unless someone can help me come up with a better one before we get rolling) How did you and DH/SO meet? DH swears it didn't happen this way, but it did. It was law school orientation and DH came up to me and introduced himself by first and last name. I said, "Oh, I took ballet here for years with a ballerina whose last name is XXXX, are you related?" DH looked at me, and completely deadpan, replied "XXXX is like Smith in Poland." And he walked away. That's how we met. Shocking it took us 2 years to start dating. Later he told me he already knew I had a BF at the time, but I'm not buying it.

Testing: i was due for AF yesterday as i typically have 24day cycles. If none by saturday will test. No AF yet and it's day 25 i was convinced i would because i was having some mild cramping yesterday but none after that. No symptoms of anything. I leave Monday on vacation so i just want answers before i go.
R/R/CS: i have long thick brown hair..almost to my waist. This morning i had to go to the store for just conditioner. The rate i go through conditioner is ridiculous. I used to by that saloon stuff but at 30$ a bottle i had to find a cheaper brand.
GTKY: (Stolen from WTO, unless someone can help me come up with a better one before we get rolling) How did you and DH/SO meet? I think it's a great one. We met in highschool. Yup highschool sweethearts. He had just moved here from NY and became a"Hit" right away. Very cute...blonde piercing blue eyes, played hockey. Initially he got around....dated alot of girls in a short amount of time. Always had a "thing" for me and i always thought he was cute but a "player" so i didn't pursue. I talked with him though and was shocked when he asked me on a date. I was skeptical because i thought i would be just another one of his "flings." He just needed the right girl because here we are almost 11years later.

Testing: Not again unless AF doesn't show tomorrow
R/R/CS: Nothing too much to report here. I have cramps on and off which is pretty normal for me before AF. Usually I am way more bloated and tired, but I'm trying to not read too much into anything. It does suck that if AF comes tomorrow, next month will be really challenging because I have a business trip during my FW. Trying to look at the positive that at least I won't be having morning sickness on a long ass flight, so there's that.
GTKY: (Stolen from WTO, unless someone can help me come up with a better one before we get rolling) How did you and DH/SO meet?
We actually went to high school together, graduated the same year but didn't know each other. It was a big high school, 1000 in our graduating class. We went away to different colleges, but when we moved back home it turned out we had the same circle of friends. Then it just kind of happened on St. Patty's Day one year - I told a friend I liked him and she told him, etc. We actually got married on St. Patty's Day 5 years later. We kind of love that holiday

GTKY: (Stolen from WTO, unless someone can help me come up with a better one before we get rolling) How did you and DH/SO meet? We met at a charity gala. I went with some friends just to have a fun time, he went because his stepmother is on the board. I wasn't even supposed to be in the country but a work trip got cut short and I had a dress, so off I went. We still go to the event every year and so far we're the only marriage out of it.
@nwegman7878 Hope the pup is feeling better! My dogs love eggs, but we actually give it to them raw, cracked on top of their food. Scrambled is a great idea. And they love rice and green beans. I've started making them treats out of my husband's spent grain from his homebrewing. They LOVE them!

GTKY: How did you and DH/SO meet? Dating website -embarrassingly POF (I use to do a TON of online dating and actually it is where I met most of my long term relationships -Nerve, OkCupid etc). I sent him a message, and he didn't respond instantly (but I could see he checked out the message and my profile), So when I didn't hear from him after dinner I sent him a message being like...its ok maybe were not a match. He wrote back instantly and was like...why would you say that...after talking for a few hours online and finding out that he use to work with my brother (and then getting a review of him from my brother), he invited me on a date the next day...I said no at first as the day was already full for me...but I changed my mind and cancelled some things.
We went on a road trip date the next day (12 plus hours - 4 of those in a car) and I pretty much knew he was going to be the guy I was going to marry when he walked up to open his car door for me when we departed on the road trip (he was sweet, funny, kind, easy to be with...and took great care of me).
It took him a little longer to decide he liked me. During the date he even did a friend pat on my shoulder at one point instead of kissing me...and so I totally figured he wasn't interested until later that evening he finally kissed me and offered to extend the date even longer than it had been planned.
Honestly this could have gone so bad. I got in a car with a stranger to drive out of my town...and spend a huge amount of time with him where I wouldn't have an option of escape. LOL Glad it worked out.
Funny fact. My husband has only gone on 2 dates in his life...and both times he has married the girl he went on dates with (he was divorced before meeting me).

R/R/CS: I see some familiar faces here and some new ones! I didn't want to do a whole re-intro thread, so I'm just popping in here. I started TTC in August and have found some great support and advice on this board. I had a CP in December, and recently a miscarriage at 8 weeks at the beginning of March. I've taken the past few weeks off actively TTC, though I've been physically cleared by my doctor, for emotional reasons. I'm finally feeling ready to try again with enthusiasm, so I'm hoping this cycle isn't too crazy and I can start a new one in the next week or so. When I had my follow up ultrasound a week after my miscarriage he said I was already gearing up to ovulate, so I'm hoping it won't be long and I can rejoin you lovely ladies!
GTKY: How did you and DH/SO meet? Smashed off whiskey at a Spice Girls concert

R/R/CS: I know I know, you’re normal til your not. But I always O around CD 12-13 and didn’t until CD16 this month, just seems weird. My timing is okay, but IDK- the last two months (last and this) I haven’t been letting myself get my hopes up. I think part of it is transitioning back to work & adjusting to that again. As noted in the WTO, my new healthcare kicks in tomorrow so I’m really excited about finding a new OBGYN here in MPLS & making an appointment & hearing about next steps.
