Apparently no doctor in my area wants to even schedule an appointment until 10 weeks (with a nurse), and then 12 weeks with the doctor. I thought it was strange and called a few different places, but heard the same story every time.
I'm very envious of all you ladies who've already seen/heard a confirmation heartbeat! I had my first BFP at (estimated) 3w4d, and waiting so long feels like torture!

Hello everyone, here are my two peanuts. The ultrasound Is from Monday. Baby A measured 6 weeks 5 days with heartbeat 120 and Baby B 7 weeks with heartbeat of 110.

Had a scare Thursday where they thought my little yolko ono was tubular because of low rising levels.. Turned out its in my uterus! But I've been having brown spotting ever since which has been freaking me out but I'm assuming it's just still irritated. I'm some where around 5 weeks. I get a dating u/s in another week.

DH captured this one. I feel like it's more "in the moment" lol.

Our chocolate chip has a heart rate of 125bpm and measuring a little ahead of schedule at 6w4d. My calculated due date is the 18th. Doc somehow got November 20th, but either way we are ECSTATIC. I think it's finally starting to kick in. I'm gonna be a mommy.

We had our second ultrasound on Tuesday. We are 6w 2d. We also got to hear the heartbeat - it was 134 bpm. We have another ultrasound tomorrow. We go so often because we had to do IVF. I'll be 7w2d tomorrow!

Babies have caught up on growth (measuring 8w3d and 8w4d), and had amazing little heart beats today!

Everything went well! No photos, since it's still so early and it wasn't that *type* of an ultrasound today. The heartbeat was at 125 and measuring right at 6w6d. They said everything looks great for now, and I'll go back in next week. Grow little unicorn, grow!

Had our first ultrasound today! The baby is measuring 5 days ahead at 8.2 but I'm keeping my due date of Nov 10 from my LMP because I was induced last time and I would like to avoid that this go round. HR is a ticker at 171.85 bpm! I've been somewhat ambivalent about this pregnancy until today but after seeing that little ginger root in there, I'm starting to warm up to it.

Yes! My doctor won't see me until 10-12 weeks so I got scheduled at 11weeks! Very anxious to get our first U/S and hear the heartbeat! Loving everyone's posts! It's so hard to wait!

There are so many multiples!

had an u/s today, measuring 6+4 which is in line when I think I o'd. Saw heartbeat feel relieved.

My first ultrasound this time around is next Monday, the 4th. I will be 9 weeks. This will be my third pregnancy, third ultrasound, and fingers crossed, the first time I'll hear a heart beat.

Had my first u/s yesterday due to some bleeding, but all good and measuring 3 days ahead! Saw and heart it's little heartbeat but don't know the rate. Was so worried there would be nothing but I couldn't be happier

I went in for my appointment yesterday and apparently they don't do 8 week ultrasounds anymore

She said unless we elect for the optional 12 scan, our first ultrasound isn't until 19 weeks.
Me decided to do the 12 week one purely for the ultrasound aspect.
We were so bummed!

Really unimpressed with the general experience of my first us today (45 min late seeing me for the first appt of the day, wouldn't let my husband in the room, accused me of having an empty bladder -- which I was painfully aware of the opposite when they were so late seeing us). The tech couldn't find anything on the external but did on an intra scan, but wouldn't tell me anything. Baby has a heart beat of 168 but she wouldn't tell me how far along I am - this was a dating ultrasound. Has anyone else had this kind of issue? And can anyone identify landmarks in this image?

5+2 today:

Gestational sac and yolk sac (though it's hard to see on the print out)! Measuring right where it should. No HB yet but I have my next appointment at 6+2 and I should see it then. I happy cried a lot!

Had an unexpected ultrasound last Thursday due to some bleeding and I was overjoyed to see that our little bean is healthy! The tech dated the baby at 5 weeks 6 days and the heartbeat was 101 BPM. I can't wait to see our little one again at our first official prenatal appointment on April 5!

@rachelcrowther I would be finding a new OB office or at least request a different u/s tech if there is one. My first u/s experience was amazing as yours should've been and I'm sorry it wasn't

Had my ultrasound 2 days prior than planned due to bleeding over the weekend. They said everything looked perfect and I've never felt so relieved. We got to hear the heartbeat but they didn't tell us the rate. Finally feeling comfortable enough to tell our parents!

Went in for my u/s today - our little bean is measuring right on track, actually a little bit ahead, with a heartbeat of 154! So many happy tears, we've been waiting for this for so long! I took a picture of the u/s picture and there's a weird glare, but all is good

Measuring a few days behind but my O date could be a day off, also I do think I implanted late. I thought I was 6w1d but they said I am 5w5d/6d. She thought there was a heartbeat but it was hard to tell. I go back in 2 weeks to check again. I was so thankful the sac wasn't empty.

My my little blob! I am 7 weeks today, but measuring one full week behind. I tracked my fertility super close (temping, using opks), so I know I am 7 weeks along. Has anyone had any experience with this? Heartbeat was 105.

@MamaBlakey at my last appointment I was measuring at 7+2 when I should have been at 8. I've been behind for every ultrasound but my doctor is not concerned. If yours isn't, you should trust him/her.

So I like to look at ultrasound pictures and hmm and nod like I see whatever it is important supposed to but mostly that is a lie. Anyhow, 6w4d, the doc is happy so I am too. Heartbeat 117. We have liftoff!

MamaBlakey, my doctor said it's normal to be +/- 6 days in measurements. Mine was measuring 2 days behind and I would have felt better if it was exact, but I'll take my doctor's word for it.

Still can't beleive this is happening. But heres my little jelly bean. Tech told me 5 weeks but it says 7weeks on it. So I'm a little confused about which it is. Haven't herd or seen a heart beat and my next one is 4/4 because this wasnt done at an ob office but my family dr ordered it bec I had some spotting and she wanted to make sure it wasn't tubal or etopic. All is good on that front little bean found the right spot. Prayin for a sticky bun.

@GriffinRay88 - the 7w is based on your last period (LMP). That looks like a typical 5w ultrasound - gestational sac and yolk sac are present. Good luck, hope you see a baby next time!

@griffinray88 it says 7 wks because it's prob been 7 weeks since the first day of your LMP. They entered that info before they measured it.

I have my first early ultrasound tomorrow to make sure it's intrauterine. I'll be 5w5d. We have to go to our specialist still. Husband and I have been trying for 7 years and with the help of fertility treatment just meds we finally got our bfp and my hcg been rising good low progesterone but on prometrium. No bleeding or bad pain have light cramping but nothing painful. Please pray for me and that baby is where it should be!

My first appointment is (FINALLY) tomorrow at 8w5d, and I still have no idea whether or not I'll be getting an u/s! All I know is it will be about 2 hours, and I will meet the nurse and the doctor from my OB team. I am excited and nervous at the same time! My nausea was SO BAD and I had zero appetite during weeks 5-6, but last week and this week, I've had almost no nausea, so I'm a little bit nervous about that (who would have thought I'd ever find nausea comforting???). Fingers crossed everything checks out okay!

Just got back from my Dating Scan and it went really well, thanks be to God! Our little one is measuring exactly at 7w,4d which is exactly what my I thought based on tracking my O date. HB of around 140. Like many, I shed a happy tear and feel a big sense of relief. Feeling very Thankful at the moment. This was just a dating scan so I didn't get to speak to a Doc but my guess is my next ultrasound will be around 12/13 weeks or so.
