@BerkeBaby I'm sorry about your friend being a little bit of a twatwaffle there. Doesn't she know that it is polite to at least pretend you care and let the person say what they want to say about it? It's just downright rude to be obviously bored by what a friend is telling you. Especially when what the friend is telling you happens to be something major in their life like that they decided to TTC. It seems like she could have at least managed an "oh that's exciting! How long have you and your husband been trying?" or I don't know.... something.
@MamaMunn That's just frustrating. Yeah TTC sex isn't always when both individuals are "just in the mood" and sure it isn't always "organic." I get that it can become somewhat mechanical and isn't always (or even usually in some cases) all that fun. But if you're trying to make an effort to keep things interesting your husband could have at least complained a little less and acknowledged your efforts a little more. My DH did something similar 2 months ago. He had some big pity party about how he "had" to have sex a couple of days when he wasn't in the mood and it didn't feel "organic" and "natural." And I'm like "you think I'm always in the mood? Don't you think there are days I'm tired or don't feel well or whatever? But you don't see me complaining. And I'm still trying to make it fun for you which is more than you're doing for me. I so don't even want to hear this right now." I feel like fighting over TTC sex is some sort of TTC milestone. Maybe "fighting" isn't the right word. But having some tensions over it at least. Hopefully you'll get your BFP this month and your husband won't have to endure anymore TTC sex. I'll illustrate my sympathy for your DH's hardship with this gif:
@nwegman7878 That is just ridiculous. I think that if a doctor's office, medical supply company, or whatever can't be bothered to bill you for 11 months then they don't deserve to be paid. This reminds me of the bill I received last month from a urologist I saw a year ago. They claimed I owed them $50 even though that would have been the copay that I paid while I was there. Whatever I just paid it again. Then this month I get another letter saying they've turned the debt over to a collection agency. WTF? I've 90% sure I've paid that twice now. Or I've paid it once already after you waited an entire year to send me a bill. Ugh. Sorry I got off on my own rant there a little. What I'm trying to say is I feel your pain. Hopefully you're able to get it all sorted out. Also, I'm sorry that you're having an emotional week.
@NamelessAria That's pretty much exactly what my DH keeps saying! It's so frustrating! The other night I finally blurted out... you know you want this too! Sometimes I feel like he acts like I'm the one who wants a baby so he shouldn't have to put in any of the work. Thanks for support, It's good to know I'm not the only one who's had these arguements over ttc.

NamelessAria I had that exact thing happen to me a few years back too. I had a kidney infection and no insurance so I went to one of those income based clinics. I paid for everything while I was there, got a bill almost a year later, assumed it was a mistake and then got sent to collections over $35. The only collection I've ever had on my record. I was livid.
