  Our Jeep's check engine light came on last week, I tightened the gas cap and it didn't go away... so I took it in today.  On the way, the light went off.  Turns out, it takes 5-10 "key cycles" to clear the light after the issue is fixed.  So I wasted my lunch hour at the dealership looking like an idiot because I don't know how to properly put gas in a car.
  
  And now I would like to drown my sorrows in root beer float, but we have no root beer or ice cream.  Good thing there are some ridiculous threads to catch up on!

  I found my first set of stretch marks.... Underside of my boobs! Makes sense considering I just got sized the other day and went from a 34-B to a 36-D. Gasp!!!   Hey ladies, this morning work was busy & I didn't get on TB till after lunch - you guys have been busy!! I'm trying to catch up with everything! 
  
  I have this wedding coming up next month that I've been trying to find a dress for... today the 2nd option arrived and it is not pretty. I've ordered these 2 and neither look like the model  on me (shocking I know!) what is it about maternity dresses that make me feel like I'm wearing an old matronly nightgown?   Today an old coworker of H's and his wife announced she was pregnant on Facebook. She's about 6 weeks along and was complaining about how sick she felt and I was like "OH MY GOD, GIRL....

  
  

  first trimester is really fucking hard. I puked daily like clockwork. The only redeeming part was that I've never slept so much and so well in my entire life. Count down to that (hopefully) being over in 2 months instead of your due date... it'll make things go by a little faster. If you ever need anyone to complain about pregnancy with, I'm your gal."
  
  Then she messaged me and told me I made her cry because all everyone's been telling her is "just wait it only gets worse" and "have you tried saltines?"
  
  So, it is possible to be pregnant/have a child and be more knowledgeable than someone else and not be a douche. Good to know. Now I can tell all those people that just can't help themselves.

  Don't order maternity, most maxis will fit over a bump unless they are the skin tight kind...try places like Belk, macys, even Tjmax or online places like filly flair. I've gotten non maternity dresses from there that fit fine now

  @MsBeachNJ - I am having the same problem. Basically I stalked the post from @NicknShan and ordered her suggestions because I was out of ideas. Unfortunately I am on the shorter side and according to H, they all look like 'fancy trash bags' on me so yeah. I am going to try some non-maternity dresses at Macy's this week (again thanks to the suggestions from our friend @NicknShan). Here's hoping that we can find something reasonable to wear!

  @msbeachnj I bought a maternity dress for a wedding but it's shorter and tighter fitting so I don't feel so beached whaley - but I tried on a few longer, flowy dresses and they ALL had that fit which is why I opted for something shorter that hugged my bump.
  
  I have a few stretchy maxi dresses that I have from before pregnancy that I wear pretty frequently and they seem to be more flattering than the maternity option. Maybe try just looking for something non maternity with a little stretch to it.

  Yes to Filly Flair! I've been obsessed with them for years. I've ordered at least 10-15 maxis from them over the past couple years and everyone of them still fits me. I'm so happy to be showing mostly in the spring/ summer so I can live in maxi dresses! Lol

  Here's my random, and also a little bit of a PSA- if someone tries to talk you in to a nine hour road trip (one way) over the weekend anytime soon... don't do it!! It is miserable.

  I actually bought a maxi from Fillyflair.com that is extremely comfy, alot of my tops come from there too.  I'll find a pic. ALSO,will they remove the page of "please.pin this" posts from the announcement thread?
