I feel all you ladies on baby kicking ribs and organs! According to the Bump app, my baby is currently between 1.5 and 2.5 pounds. So you're telling me it can triple/quadruple in weight by the time I deliver? How the eff is that going to work. I already feel like there's no room in there and baby is kicking/hitting vital organs and ribs. Shall be an uncomfortable 3 months.
Can this be a "just wait!" moment?! I KID!!! It's crazy how your belly just keeps growing and getting more uncomfortable.
FINALLY I've been craving this since the float thread. Hubby even brought me extra root beer to top it off.
Damnit! I knew I forgot something with groceries....it was rootbeer to make a float!!! That looks amazing!
My hubby is taking our girls to his parents tonight and I'm ordering wings, fried cheesecake, and making myself a float to go with. I just bought two new bottles of tums so I should be set. And I just downloaded a book to my nook. What more could a girl ask for???
So good, but so much carbonation and dairy.... I looked like a balloon animal. Had to ask DH to rub more lotion on my giant belly/chest before I exploded. I was worried...

I had an "oh shit" moment about this last night. I was tucked in, just about to fall asleep when H says, "so, you realize baby will gain at least 5 more pounds before you deliver, right?" Eyes popped open, "well, I'm awake now."
I mean yes, I've realized this fact in an abstract sense, but somehow didn't apply this realization to my BODY. OH EM GEE.
I had a TRIPLE green Chile cheese burger with double portion shoe string fries and a coconut milkshake for lunch and pork belly with fried Brussels sprouts for dinner. I fully intend to grow this baby to nearly 7 lbs by the end of June. DS WAS 6lbs 14oz while I gained 60lbs from start to finish... Success!
sooooo.....I've been having a super uncomfortable, super long BH for almost 40 minutes, and the backs of my thighs ache/hurt. I have no idea if this is premature labor. You'd think by my third time, I'd have this down, but I never noticed my BH with our other two.

Ick! I hope you can get BH to stop, and this is not preterm labor!
@crdo- I've been downing water and just sitting/lying here. I hope this is nothing serious, and I'm totally not one to freak out over stuff, but I'm beginning to wonder what's going on.

Don't blame you for wondering. Do you think it's worth calling an after-hours # to be sure?
Also, it's super annoying when TB janks stuff up. Hope your s/n gets fixed soon!
ETA: Not that I'm an expert by any means (duh), but if you're having uncomfortable BH for that long and they aren't subsiding regardless of your water intake and changing position, it sounds like it might warrant a call in, based on what I've read.

Once it's been ongoing for over an hour, if they haven't let up, I'd call it in and see what they say. Also, lay on your left side of you can, laying on your back can actually make the BH worse. Hugs and I hope they cease and dissist!
Thanks, ladies. I think all the water is helping. I'm totally zoned out watching Parks and Rec (on my left side ). The rock-hard-ness is letting up, hallelujah!

Yikes! Hopefully they stop! But I agree if it keeps going for an hour then call.

I just got home from l&d after having 10 in like a 30 minute span. Thankfully they stopped on their own but they told me I definitely have an angry uterus! I hope yours stop soon!

I'm glad they seem to be letting up. I hope they go away all together. I don't need my lb going into labor this early!!
Feels like I've been super absent this past week so I just wanted to say hey. Hope everyone is doing well. Sending good vibes to all the mama's in need.
I have my glucose test this morning. Wish me luck! I threw it up at the hour mark with my first, but had no problems with my second. I have to drink it on the way to drop DS1 at preschool. Yuck.

Blech! Here's hoping it stays down and all goes well!
dumb question and I'm too lazy to look up the GD post - if I failed the 1 hour test, is there a specific window to go in for my follow up test? I failed my test on Wed Mar 16, and I haven't gone back in yet....thx!

I don't think so. I mean, the urgency is that if you have GD being on top of it is better for you and your baby. My OB gave me a time window. Both times I had things coming up and asked if I could delay it a week or two and he was like, "Yeah, anytime before your next appointment." which was like 2-3 weeks away.

Also, now TB in the browser is messed up for me too. It's like they want me to get off my butt an actually use a computer.

OK, FTM moment over.
Now I resume my position on my couch with my snoogle
