@Lindsayleigh1989 I've had them a few times now - actually grew two overnight last night. I put neosporin on them which seems to help somewhat in relieving the pain until they go away on their own.
Thanks how long did they take to go away for you?
I'd say the pain goes away/they're less angry after about 2 days, and they're gone by the end of the week.
swelling in my ankles! I sat with my leg underneath myself last night and when I uncrossed, I had a HUGE indentation. Yikes! I don't think I was like that with my 1st pregnancy. I guess maybe I had too much salt?
Aside from not being able to sleep due to my aching legs and hips, I've had heart palpitations all day? Super annoying.
Stretch before bed I am doing sciatic and piriformis ones a little while before bed time and it is definitely helping my hip and leg pain. Also using a tennis ball or foam roller has been super helpful as well!

I agree with @soberkfell- I get acne cysts all the time (even more so now) and the neosporin definitely helps. I have a bad habit of picking at them and trying to pop them, and it makes them so much worse. I've also found if you put a spoon in the freezer for awhile and use that at compression on them, it helps relieve the swelling and pain.
Me: 28 | Husband: 39 Married March 2016 DD: born 7.22.16 DS EDD: 6.23.18
Fullness/heaviness in my belly Right hip pain Nipples stopped being tender for like a month and now they are super sore all the time Swelling ankles and feet. Probably calves too. And I try to put my feet up all the time at my desk too! But still- swelling. SO.tired. All the time. Extra fatigue when climbing stairs and random tiredness/dizziness even when just sitting. :-/
Sometimes I miss the feeling of not being pregnant, but trying to not wish away the time because I know i'll miss feeling baby boy move around so much after he's born.

I've been having a lot of swelling in my ankles and feet! Really it just looks like I have no ankles most of the time haha. I'm trying to think if I've been eating a lot of salt - maybe I have. You're not alone in the swelling department, though!

Woke up last night choking on my own vomit... then had a stupid cough, and my throat was on fire for the rest of the night. It's definitely time to start sleeping on an incline!
I don't know the difference between indigestion, heartburn, and acid reflux, but I have a wicked combination of one or more of these that keeps me up all night. Ugghhhh.
I started with the never ending hunger!! All day I think about what to eat ! It's so annoying! Also light cramps, major gas pains in the morning (lol I gas my husband out the bed most mornings) rib pain, back pain, leg pain. Stretching pain and never ending bathroom trips..I get horrible pain when I have to pee, dr told me it's the position of the baby..also Braxton hicks..Also I have split ab muscles. I noticed it at my ultrasound and the tech told me that it happens to some pregnant woman. So I asked dr and he said its from the pressure of my uterus on my abs that the 2 muscles separated . It usually goes back after delivery but in some cases it doesn't ugggg..oh well lol anything for my little baby boy! I rarely had any pregnancy symptoms until 20 weeks lol so I can't complain
Anyone else feeling really sexy with their bump? Lol ..I was 120 5'2 b4 baby but I had a gut with love handles and since my bump grew out it made my love handles stretch out into my bump so it looks like they went away so I look like I had a great body b4 baby (which I didn't) lol. So far I have gained 9 pounds at 23 weeks ..and I just feel so sexxy lately . Oh and my belly button was an inny and it's almost popped out but looks so weird esp in shirts bc u can see a big indent lol
@am0987 I started with whatever that "feels like there is vomit in your throat" acid reflux situation is yesterday. I ate some chips & salsa at 4 and then felt so gross and vomit-in-my-throaty that I couldn't eat dinner and was uncomfortable all night. Rude. Dammit body, get it together!
@Vgallo831 - I go through phases where sometimes I think my pregnant body is sexy and sometimes I feel fat and disgusting. I love love love my bump though...I just wish I didn't get fat everywhere else too!!
For those with acid reflux, ask if you can take nexium. It's over the counter, and taken daily. It decreases the amount of acid produced. I've been taking that or a variation of it for years, and I have had no issues at all with pregnancy. If I forget to take it, I am definitely having to pop the pepcid! Just check with your provider since there are differing opinions on medication use. It's a class B
Rib pain is killing me. I'm 5'2" with a short torso, and can feel my rib cage kind of bowing out as stuff gets shoved up in there! Have to eat small portions and can't sit up straight for long.
I am always so physically uncomfortable. I started at 5'5" and 109 pounds. As of two or three weeks ago I had gained 16 pounds and I'm 23 weeks tomorrow. My bump is huge and my butt has grown a bit, but that's it. My bump is out of control. It pushes up into my ribs and lungs, so it's so uncomfortable to sit in pretty much any position. I also am always out of breath. The added weight in front is killing my back and I lay on a heat pack every night. I just can't imagine what I'll be like as I progress into the third trimester! This is soooo uncomfortable.
Hey ladies, I'm sure all my pregnancy "symptoms" are normal, but I tend to over react about things... I am SO tired, like all the time. All I think about while at work is sleeping and when I get home I can't bring myself to do anything. I am 23 weeks and 5 days along. I also have been feeling this weird light headed feeling too. Almost like I can't tell if i'm over heated or just tired. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? Thank you!
I've been having some weird dull pain on my left side today.. chalking it up to RLP. My allergies are flaring up like no man's business. And my feet are killing me, but thankfully there's no swelling.
So this is weird, but for the last month or so the muscle right on top of my pelvic bone feels like it's been pulled. I only feel it when I'm laying down because it hurts when I roll over or sit up. I've been trying to use my arms to push myself up rather than use my stomach/pelvic muscles. I also try to roll over when I'm still laying flat rather than partially sitting up and rolling. For some reason it doesn't help. When I get up in the middle of the night and morning it really hurts. During the day I'm not aware of it at all. Anyone else? Is this a pregnancy thing, or did I just do something weird?
Is anyone else having the awful headaches that nothing seems to help that last for hours and hours ?! I had one yesterday eventually fell asleep woke up with it going strong

Is heartburn that feeling like you always have a little vomit at the back of your throat? Or is that acid reflux? Whatever it is, I have that.
From August...
From someone that has dealt with heartburn/acid reflux most of my life this is how I tell them apart. Heartburn for me is really more just like a burn. Acid reflux is way worse, where it feels like you need to throw up, have constant heartburn, and if you lay down it is worse. Mine was really bad when I could drink beer/alcohol or if I had to much spicy food or caffeine. Prilosec was the only thing that really helped me (like nexium), however I have no idea if I can take that. I'm going to ask at my next pregnancy appt.. Some things that I use now that tend to work. I have been using Zantac 150, Gaviscon tablets (like tums but different ingredients) and if I get it after I eat I drink some milk. I've heard milk isn't the best but it seems to work for me. Another old wives tale I read in my twin book was to try a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar. I haven't tried it yet, but I've heard it works from a bunch of people... Also if you can sit up or prop yourself up with pillows when you sleep that will help too!

Thanks!!! And sorry you've been experiencing this for so long! My midwife suggested ACV so I'll try that for sure. I've also heard that aloe vera capsules can be helpful? My friend's midwife suggested them during her pregnancy and she said they helped.

Yes, the last two days I've woken up with terrible headaches and they stick around for about 3-4 hours. I'm not sure why either... I've been hydrated, I've eaten, I've slept, etc.
