Cereal is a food group in itself for me right now. I love regular Cheerios with some sugar and a banana cut into it (or a baggie of dried ones to eat on the go), and Rice Krispies same way.. and frosted flakes.. And honey combs.. And apple jacks.. And mini frosted wheats..
I mostly just buy Cheerios and one other at a time though.
PS: captain crunch is too gross for words.
I do the dry cereal in a baggie as a snack often and you know what's a great combo? Dry frosted mini wheats washed down with coffee with some creamer/milk in it. I literally hold the dry mini wheats in my mouth and then take a swig of coffee to soak them before chewing.
I also love cereal. I'm pretty sure I ate at least 3/4 of the family sized box of Lucky Charms by myself. That was definitely me giving in to a craving. One cereal for life would have to be Cinnamon Life for me.
We bought a huge box each of Reese's Puffs and Lucky Charms on our grocery trip tonight. Partially inspired by this thread, partially because of my pregnancy cereal cravings! I never was much of a cereal eater before this.
I just spent the last five minutes crying on the toilet and screaming "I hate all of you."
Why?
1. DS fell asleep in the car because he had a really early nap. 2. I seriously had to pee. 3. I had to get passed out DS out of the car and put him down on the couch. 4. Which meant that I had to carry a 25 lbs of dead weight while trying not to pee my pants. 5. It hurts to walk, but I had to speed my way from my car to the front door because I would rather not pee my pants while holding a toddler. 6. DS started crying the moment I put him down. 7. The toilet seat was up. 8. Guess who managed to only get her pants down in time before peeing her panties because she was trying to fix the toilet seat? 9. I hit my knee on the way down to the toilet. 10. I also stepped in cat poop. 11. Contractions while desperately peeing? Not pleasant. 12. I lost a huge chunk of mucus plug.

/hug Maybe our babies are going to arrive the same day! (Silver lining :P)

I love dry frosted mini wheats. I always eat them frosting down . Havent had these in ages. I'll add those to my grocery list along with kiwis thanks to @AmadorRose
@Knottie9983816 It wasn't big enough to actually be something (in my opinion). It was the size of a nickel. With DS I remember it being the size of a quarter.
I also really want this kid to stay in until at least April 1st.
So DD and I are sick with a headcold and congestion. Well DH came home from work today and said he thinks he's got it now too. I felt bad for all of 10 seconds because then he said he feels 9 months pregnant. So I asked how it felt, and he replies with, "well I'll live." Umm...I wouldn't be to sure about that buddy. I asked him what made him think he knew what it feels like to be 9 months pregnant and he said he's feet hurt and his back hurts and now he's getting sick. I wanted to ask him how bad his pelvis hurts, what about heartburn, hemorrhoids, contractions, peeing every hour, etc. But I held my tongue and now he's in bed complaining about how awful he feels. I feel bad and all but I've offered medicine, water, cold rag, etc and your turned it all down. Don't bitch to me about it when you wont take anything to get better.
Why do men turn into babys when they get sick? Or is it just mine that does that?
@TKaiser91 my husband has been "sick" once a week since I hit 3rd tri and my symptoms have become more difficult to ignore. Granted his issues stem from psychological hardship, but it's really annoying. I would lose my mind if he told me he felt nine months pregnant!
Ok I'm trying not to sound ungrateful and mean to my fiancé... His mom is a teacher and her spring break is next week. She wants to come stay with us to "help" and be here for support if I am going into labor soon. I don't want that. I don't want that at all. I know she is trying to be sweet but she stresses me out, and I can't be bothered to be as nice to my fiancé as I have to pretend to be when she's around >.<

I totally understand this as MIL is the nicest lady in the world but drives me nuts. How does your fiancé feel about it? More importantly, would he be willing to tell her that it would be more stressful than helpful for you to feel like you need to host? Maybe she could come for one or two nonconsecutive days to help clean or cook some freezer meals, etc. but not physically stay. Then she still feels helpful and you may save a shred of sanity.
What is up with today?! DS just threw one of his huge and heavy toy trucks at my face. Hit me right in the nose. Scared me more than hurt, but I'm also too distracted by BH and pain to really notice feeling anywhere else.

Not excited for this stage in parenting.
I hate toddlers... Give me a newborn any day of the week!
It's not even 4 and I have gotten up to pee 6 times. 6. This last time I got up DDstarted crying so I went in to see why. She peed through her diaper onto her bed and sheets. So what did I get to do at 315 am? Clean up a toddler and remake her bed with clean sheets and blankets. Then I have to go get her out of my bed because she snuggled up to DH. It was cute to see but he's sick with a mild fever and momma don't sleep well with a toddler in bed because she kicks. Then once I'm done I have to pee...again. Now I cant sleep and DH has to get up in 10 minutes to get ready for work. Which means I wont fall back asleep until he is done and leaves. Damn it this sucks!
@jonesl12 now all i've been thinking about is cereal and which I want to eat.... I got up and ready for work early just so I can go to the store and buy cereal and milk to bring to work and have for lunch.... Now to decide which I want most

I'm currently choosing between lucky charms and Golden Grahams because that's all I have at the house right now. Lol
I went for my "36" check up today. Good news is.. He's growing well! Bad news (for me) is the doctor believes he is already over 8 lbs. ouch! And after my pelvic exam she said "I've been known to cause contractions!" I was only dilated to 1, and 50% effaced.. But have had some seriously strong contractions since, and went to shower for work and have what looks like bleeding at the beginning of a period. (Light, but still needing a full sized pad.) I called the nurse, she said "she could have swept the membrane the way your cervix is shaped." Well that sounds like she is helping him find his way out. she also mentioned to try and keep him in until next week at the earliest.. DID I MENTION WE DONT EVEN HAVE A CARSEAT?!? Help. Lol
I was checked at 36 weeks and bled afterwards. Could be totally normal bleeding.
I also really want this kid to stay in until at least April 1st.
Me too. My EDD is 4/8 and as miserable as things are getting regarding sleeping/walking/general comfort I am hoping she stays put til the following week at least. Plus, she's in the 16% right now and I want her to grow dammit.

We should be able to distribute baby percentages until they're all even and nicely sized. Id gladly give you some of my 80th percentile.
3 miscarriages - 1 DS (6) - 1 DD (3) - #3 due March 30!
Doctors appointment at 3:30 PM... Yay... DH and BFF think the doctor is going to put me on bedrest for the rest of the pregnany. Knowing my luck, I'll just get a clap on the back and told "not much longer!" That's usually how my appointments go when I complain about something...

DD didn't hit double digit weight percentile until her two month appt, which also when she hit double digit weight She's now a 23 pound 21 month old (~20%). But hey, I can still "comfortably" lift her at almost 38 weeks, so there are definite benefits to little babies

Same tiny-ness for DD over here. She's a whopping 29 lbs at 3.5 years old. She started out tiny and has grown consistently. Just small. Silver lining is that here clothes last a long time

It's so true! I just put most of DD's 12 month clothes away. It's so nice to get almost 6 months out of each size!

DS is 25 lbs at 20 months. He makes up for the weight by being really tall. He's always been underweight. My nephew (who's three months you ger) had at least a good five pounds over DS when DS was about six months old.

DD1 is tiny too. Whopping 21lbs at 18 months, 4th percentile. We only really need to buy her new clothes right now because it's getting hot already
Dang. Think I just lost my mucus plug. I had a feeling I had been losing bits and pieces of it gradually over the past 2 weeks but just now going to the bathroom, huge glob of mucus. Loverly
I can no longer hold pens or utensils in my right hand because of the constant numbness and pain caused by swelling. Get this kid out of me.
Bah ha ha ha ha I think I'm getting the blurry vision symptom of pregnancy because I first read "pens" as "penis" and was very confused as to why those two things were the sentence together.

I lost a nickel sized amount last night and a dime sized amount this morning. No blood, so I'm hoping that means there's still a cork.

I assume that would be difficult as well, but I don't care nearly as much about that as I do about being able to feed myself anything but finger foods.
Well DD just barfed all over the porch. Fingers crossed it was just that we stopped swinging too fast (no fever, clear eyes) but I definitely have the post-adrenaline shakes now and DS is kicking directly on my stomach, so that's not helping me feel okay either So not the time to have a stomach virus if that's what it is.

At least it wasn't in the house?
For sure - I was opening the door as she got sick, so seconds from a much worse situation! The ability to literally hose it away is fantastic.
Ugh my GBS came back positive and to top it off the Dr tells me today that in previous bloodwork that was done from way back (she didn't specify 1st or 2nd tri) that they saw that my body built up antibodies for the herpes virus so that means at some point in my life I was exposed. Ummm thanks for telling me this now, I've never so much as had a cold sore in my life and any STD screenings always came back nice and clean. But now I have to take an antibiotic for this "just in case". I'm all for the better safe than sorry, but wtf why wasn't this told to me waaaay back when it was first found

2. I seriously had to pee.
3. I had to get passed out DS out of the car and put him down on the couch.
