2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? 11weeks
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: DH is a teacher so he is on spring break thing week! We are taking our annual trip to the Houston rodeo this weekend and I'm so excited to eat a turkey leg. Yummm

I just had a little pink when I wiped after a BM. Would you guys call your doc about that or just assume it was from pressue on the cervix and monitor it?

I wouldn't call unless it continued. A little bit of blood after a BM is normal.

Yeah, that's what I figured. I'm surprisingly calm about it. It was exactly the same as it was after sex (the one time I gave in and did it). I guess I just have a really sensitive cervix.

@MRSCORKER I wouldn't call unless it continues or gets worse. Hopefully everything is okay now!
Thanks! It only happened once right after a BM and hasn't happened since. I'm not worried about it particularly but since it's happened after sex last week as well, I'm wondering if my doc would recommend pelvic rest or something along those lines. I might call and ask the nurse tomorrow depending on how I feel or just take a self-imposed pelvic rest until my appt on Tuesday.

@SuperNerd42 I was born in Green Bay and raised in Wisconsin. I moved away more than 10 years ago, but most of my very large family is still there. Go Pack!
1. How far along are you? 10 w, 3 days
2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? I'm going to get the Progenity Verifi test in a few weeks (offered for a small fee even though I'm not high risk), so we'll find out the gender of our baby probably around 15 weeks. Pretty exciting.
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: This is my second child, and I'm pretty short and small, so I'm already showing. We haven't told anyone the news, so I've been trying to hide with baggy clothes, but even in maternity jeans and a t-shirt, my belly sticks out. It looNothing looks good and it's frustrating.
4. GTKY: What's the best thing about where you live? The temperate climate. I like that it doesn't really snow in the winter (I HATE snow) and it doesn't get too hot in the summer.
Awwww, thanks @Pupatella and @UponAStar16 ! I just like to engage with people and I feel like it helps to feel like you're not shouting out into the great void, you know?

2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? March 29 I see my OB and I have the 12 week check at the hospital all in one day. Plus they're going to see my thyroid levels. Depending on everything, I'll announce after that.
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I'm so tired all the time and the nausea has been a million times worse with this pregnancy but I'm not complaining lol.
4. GTKY: What's the best thing about where you live? Living right next to NYC.
Finally had to bump on my laptop because I can't post on mobile

2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? Today is my appointment. This is the appointment I found out that my baby didn't have a heartbeat so if all goes well today I will be very excited.
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: Just want 2:10 to be here and to hear a wonderful heartbeat. I wish I wasn't so nervous but I really cannot help it.
4. GTKY: What's the best thing about where you live? The food and the southern charm!
@kmalls 2:10pm central time....and let me tell you I am kicking myself for not choosing a morning appointment. I am on spring break right now so work wasn't an issue...I wasn't thinking at the time that having to wait all day was going to suck big time. I just really hope that my doctor isn't super behind and gets me back there asap so we can do the doppler. My mom is going with me to hold my hand since DH has to work and last time I was there with my DD when I found out about the MMC so I am thankful she will be with me.

I'm sending you all the positive thoughts I have! I know the waiting sucks, but update us when you can!
I love it too! Thanks @simcal18! I wish i had the time and motivation. Though I am extremely grateful for this thread/board and even if i don't always respond, I do read them all.
Uggggh. So I just realized I had promised to have brunch with two good friends--one from out of town--the same day that my ultrasound is scheduled (Saturday the 26th). I really don't want to cancel brunch since I don't get to see my OOT friend often enough as is. I also think that if we have an ultrasound before then and all looks good, I MAY consider spilling the beans at brunch (although one of these friends has a November 5th wedding I may have to miss and the other one just had a MC in October and has had trouble TTC since then due to breaking her leg, so it would be a really tricky reveal.)
So I'm tempted to try to move the ultrasound up because the midwife would like to get me in for an ultrasound sooner rather than later, and frankly I would like that too. They're willing to send me to a diagnostic ultrasound place that does a ton of these a day so I expect getting in earlier wouldn't be an issue. But . . . DH is out of town for work pretty much all weekdays until then. And I really don't want to go without him. He gets back this week very early Friday afternoon and so he could probably make it if I scheduled the ultrasound for 3:00 or later this Friday, but he's having a TERRIBLE business trip and I don't want to put the stress on him of coming home and immediately heading to the ultrasound to see if we have a viable pregnancy. He's in meetings right now and cranky so I don't even want to ask him if he'd be willing to do that right now. I'm just so torn. I don't want him to miss it and I want him there with me for support, but now the 26th doesn't even really work (and it was just going to be a crappy handheld ultrasound anyway), and I don't want to wait even longer, and I have no idea what to do. Hopefully DH will be out of meetings and in a better mood soon and we can talk about it then, but this sucks.

I'm still here!!!! *****TRIGGER WARNING ON MY RANT POST******
1. How far along are you? Thought I was 11+2, But I'm apparently 10+6
2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? NT screening coming up... any chance to see the baby, I'm happy.
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: This isn't really a rant, just an emotional vent. This week is much tougher than I anticipated. My son's due date was supposed to 3/23/16 and I'm finding that the days leading up to it are a nightmare...and full of actual nightmares where something happens to my baby and I can't help him. As they say, grief comes in waves and it is a tidal wave this week. It just hit me the other day like a ton of bricks - I'm supposed to have a baby next week. I'm using all of the energy, though, and planning our garden where we'll be planting a tree in memory of our son on his due date. Also, I got great reassurance yesterday at my Dr.'s appt! We heard a strong baby beat! While I'm sad, scared, anxious and nervous, baby's saying "Don't you fret, mom, I'm healthy and holdin' down the fort in here!" Thanks for the reassurance bebe!
4. GTKY: What's the best thing about where you live? The SUNSHINE! The weather is usually gorgeous and I also love living in a city that is so full of life and culture... that means great food!
@Julia70286 That's rough, I'm so sorry. My girl's due date will be in May. I don't even know how I'm going to handle that one. I love the idea of planting a tree though. I need to think of something like that to help me get through that day.
Well I see my OB on Friday to follow up after my ER visit over the weekend. Just talked to hubby and if everything looks ok, we're going to announce our pregnancy this weekend. We were going to wait until the follow weekend (I'll be 12 weeks on Easter) but I just felt weird about announcing on a holiday. I don't know why. So it's a little earlier than planned, but everything has looked great so far. I have no reason to fear. And I don't think one week is going to make a difference. If something is going to happen, it's going to happen. And people will hear about it either way.
Well ladies all good news here! My doctor found the heartbeat almost immediately at it was going strong at 166. I am so excited to be past my last mc and I feel safer now to celebrate and share the news! Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers today they were much appreciated!
@simcal18 Could you do the ultrasound with your H either this weekend, or next week Friday, the 25th? It sounds like your H needs some time to relax and probably vent a bit after his awful business trip.
@mrszoess You were a May 2016 mama too? I knew I recognized your screen name, I just figured it was from the TTGP board. How strange that we ended up in the same BMB again.
@krzyriver@mrszoess I was a May16 mama, too! I thought you guys were familiar. I was super active on that board until the loss, and I still miss those ladies. I pop in occasionally just to see how they're doing.
