I never took my belly ring out during my first pregnancy throughout birth. It's still in and she's 14 months. Just 7 weeks now and I don't plan on taking it out. It never got in the way.
@vinylrecs I totally get this. My husband is usually out the door before 6 and does not get back until 7:30-8 if I'm lucky. It was ok before we had our first but with a baby that kind of schedule is so hard since it means you are essentially on your own all day. It can get really lonely, and challenging. Hopefully he can change up his schedule like you mentioned but if not you can probably make some good mom friends by going to some support groups after the baby comes. That's what I did and it was awesome! Some of my best friends now are women I met in those groups.
Blahhhh. Just noticed some spotting. I had this like 4 times in the first tri with my first but it still freaks me out. Probably will call my OB and lunch and see if I need to go get Rhogam tomorrow (H is O+ and I'm A-).

My husband, who does not follow football* at all bought and is wearing a Manchester United cap at work. Had this last cycle not worked out, we were going to go to England (London and some time in Dorset) in December. I think he got rather in the spirit.

*huge sigh* My 4 year old son broke his arm last Tuesday leaping off his bed in an attempt to fly. Today we had his follow up appointment and the angle has gotten way worse. Tomorrow morning he has to get a reduction done. FX that it works and he won't have to get it pinned.

That sounds like my schedule. I hope my husband will be ok after my leave is over!

Poor pumpkin! Poor mama, I'd lose my sh*t if my baby got hurt like that. Hoping he feels better soon.
