I seriously just woke up from the weirdest dream ever about a slumber party where I personally knew none of the other participants, we all communicated through texts/the computer somehow, and most everybody's name was too confusing to pronounce out loud.
I dreamed that my mucus plug fell out but for some reason it was a novelty soap shaped like the state of Delaware.
I was going to post a picture of it all like "uh guys is it supposed to look like a novelty soap of Delaware?" but then I remembered that nobody wants to see mucus plug photos, and I was really sad because I thought I would never know if that was weird or normal.
I was getting disappointed that I wasn't having ANY kind of dreams with this pregnancy. Usually, I have really good ones. But while on vacation last week, I had my first dream. I had the baby, but wasn't allowed to see him. They even sent me home and he stayed at the hospital. I left not knowing anything about him. Then on my return to the hospital, I run into my in-laws and they start telling me how they have seen him and held him. I stopped them from telling me details b/c I still had not seen my own baby and was mad that the hospital let anyone see him before me, let alone, while I wasn't there. My husband laughs when I share my dreams. He thinks my dreams are associated with my fears in real life.
I wouldn't mind seeing a Delaware mucus plug, seems Ripleys believe it or not worthy.
My weirdest, haunting dream involved an 80ish yr old woman with a haunch and arthritic joints getting it on with a Joe Dirt-y little person. They were in the awkward/creepy/ flirty pre-motel foreplay phase and they were trying to seduce me into joining. Thankfully I woke up before any penetration happened, but still super grossed out and got the heebejeebies. One of those you wake up and immediately think What The F!
I'm blaming the placenta. No way I'd come up with something so twisted on my own.
I posted earlier that I kept on dreaming I was shouting at my younger sis (despite us not having issues IRL).
So last night I dreamt that we had another falling out and that she tried to kiss my DH because of it.
I woke up in near tears. These dreams with her is too weird. Apparently she keeps on dreaming awful stuff about the baby - so maybe it's my dream-version acting out at her dream-version for dreaming horrible things?!
Last night, I dreamed that DH was dropping me off at high school (not even the one I actually attended), and I didn't want to go. He kept saying that if I missed anymore school, I was going to flunk out, and I kept telling him that I already had my doctorate, so I didn't need to go. The whole dream, I was so tired and all I wanted to do was go back home and go to bed. So weird!
I had a dream last night that when I got home from work, I had ticks around my ankles-- and it kept happening over and over again! I woke up feeling stressed and creeped out. And of course...I checked my ankles several times just to be sure there wasn't actually anything on them. They were just swollen still.

GAH! I had a bug dream last night too! I dreamed that I got up to go to the bathroom and when I turned on the light there were all these centipedes crawling around EVERYTHING! A bunch like jumped onto me and started burrowing into my belly and I was freaking out, trying to pull them out because I didn't want them to get the baby. Of course, I woke up with a start and had to pee so bad, but was waaaaay too afraid to go into the bathroom. I actually woke MH up at 2:30am to go check for centipedes before I would go in. He thinks I am nuts, but I would've peed right there in the bed if he didn't go check first.
I hate to admit it, but I think it was the ice cream I had right before bed because I am not feeling so great. I need to embrace my newly lactose intolerant status or suffer the bizarre consequences.

Last night I dreamed that baby was born and he/she was tiny (like, half the size a newborn should be) but perfectly formed and fully-cooked nontheless. And it could already talk, which made me feel really disappointed because we're really looking forward to signing with our baby. Of course baby's first word wasn't 'mummy', 'daddy' or the name of our cat, it was 'airplane'. Then immediately after, it said, "So how about some more of that boob milk?" in this creaky old man voice. So I was like, "Um, sure?" and just stuck the baby underneath my shirt where it started nursing. Then someone else came up and told me my shirt looked all weird and lumpy and I replied, "Well, yeah, it's got my tiny talking baby underneath".
WTAF.
ETA: I mean, this dream had nothing on the one where I was giving birth to triplets through my mouth, but somehow this one as much more disturbing. At least my mouth-triplets were cute!

Apparently I just pushed the baby out and then took it to the hospital. Then I was trying to make an appointment with the pediatrician but she wouldn't believe that I had the baby so early, so she wouldn't let me make an appointment.
Then DH was married to someone else. We were still married and living together but he was also married to somebody he only knew for a couple months and I was okay with it. I was giving him a hard time for marrying someone he barely knew. He didn't see her very often either.
Then for some reason I was with a bunch of cheerleaders and the guy in charge of the cheerleaders was my dad's boss. They were just sitting around eating gummy bears on a plate with a fork, like it was a meal, but some of the gummy bears had weed in them. So I was carefully picking all the weed ones out and giving them away. The rest of the weed gummy bears were hidden in a BB-8 from Star Wars.
I have crazy dreams every night! Last night was that I had my daughter, and I went to get her up after a nap except I couldn't find a blanket to swoop her up and carry her out in- so I grabbed a roll of paper towels and ripped off a few to carry her LOL , also I should mention she was "a week old" but about 25lbs and her pajama buttons were stretched way out and about to bust! And none of the clothes I had fit her
She already knows but last night I had a dream that dh was invited to @ladysamlady shower but I wasn't. He gave her baby socks and a Heismen trophy for the baby. Where he got the Heismen trophy I don't know.
The other night I had a dream about my growth scan. Instead of the one boy I am expecting, I dreamt they found out I was having twin girls.

I got the smack down from my doc Thursday and was told to dial my activity level down to a 1-2. Last night I dreamed I forgot about my imposed limits and went for a 4-mile run.
Last night was the weirdest by far I just wish I could remember all the details. It was me in a restaurant with my SO and my dad... and then all these talking animals/creatures appeared. And this little tiny purple, flying, talking cartoonish creature was buzzing around.... felt like a bad acid trip.... -_-
I had one the other night and the whole dream was literally just me going through the McDonald's drive thru for a burger and then it being the best burger I had ever had, even though even in the dream it looked like your normal McDonald's burger.
I hadn't had one in forever but definitely went the next day to get one
I had a dream last week that I told Husband I was ok with him dating another chick while still married to me and I ended up feeling so heartbroken that he decided to actually follow through on dating her. She like moved into our house even and he was staying the night with her. I finally told him how completely heartbroken I was and then I think maybe he broke up with her or something? I woke up from that feeling really sad!
Then last night I dreamt that I had to breastfeed and take care of this litter of seven puppies. WTF. I breastfed puppies.

She looked exactly like the Voldemort baby in King's Cross during the final HP showdown, so all shriveled and scrawny with a weird bony tail thing and covered in some goop that looked like either blood or I don't know what. She was in this weird pod thing and despite being only the size of a small dog, she was 35 and could talk etc. She was super nasty and just said the most hateful things so halfway through the shower, I wheeled her into the bathroom and just left her there. Suddenly, I looked down and my belly was gone. I was feeling around, you know like when you misplace your keys so you feel all your pockets, but couldn't find my baby. I then went into the bathroom and saw my "sister" holding my baby by her feet like she was going to eat her. I screamed and snatched Luna back. She was a perfect newborn size and looked beautiful, but her feet were all deformed and bloody. Then, my older sister ran in and opened the pod and started slowly breaking the thing's arms and legs. She asked for a chest spreader, but we didn't have one so she sighed and just tossed her out the window. I woke up with a start and couldn't sleep a wink after that.
PS- this is now my 2nd dream with creepy Voldemort baby. Not cool.
The other night I had a dream I was in a play with Jason Statham (who was my celebrity crush for years. Even MH looks like him). Someone hit him in the mouth, he lost a tooth, and sat in a corner crying his eyes out. I kept trying to calm him down and asked if he wanted me to take him to the dentist; he just nodded through the tears.
Every other dream I have is a crazy, wild sex dream. The one time Jason shows up, he's a little bitch. SMH.
I had a dream night before last that my cousin (that I apparently knew really well in my dream but doesn't exist in real life) gave me this tiny, adorable, black kitten as a baby shower gift. The kitten couldn't have been more than a few weeks old, but it was pregnant and looked like it was about to pop. I politely told her that I appreciated the thought but I really couldn't take on a cat (especially one that would soon become multiple cats) right before I had a baby. Her feelings were so hurt that she started crying, so I told her I changed my mind and would take the kitten. I woke up as DH and I were driving home with our new kitten, and I was furious for changing my mind and taking it.
My dreams are either super awesome/weird/terrifying, or they're horribly mundane. There is no in-between. For example, there was the dream about being a private detective where I was thisclose to solving the case before I woke up. Or the various nightmares about dinosaurs/tornadoes/giving birth to angry toddlers/etc. Those are super vivid, and I either wake up annoyed that I didn't get to finish them or grateful that they're over.
Tonight I dreamed that I got out of bed and let the dogs outside for a little while, because I know that if the little one doesn't make it out every four to five hours there will be a mess for me to clean up somewhere.
GAHH! Another one! So I had a dream that I was performing at this benefit concert (which I am in a few weeks) and I was just about to go on. Suddenly, I really had to pee so I ran into the bathroom, but there were no doors on the stalls and you had to wrap these weird bungee cords around the door frame to keep other people from seeing you or getting in. I tried for like a second and then gave up. I noticed that I was bleeding...a lot! It was like a really heavy period. There were clots and everything with mucus and gross stuff. I went to get a pad from one of those dispensers, but didn't have any money, so I just Hulked that thing off the wall and grabbed one. It looked like a murder scene in the bathroom and then someone came in. Since I didn't do the bungee cords correctly, they sat right on my lap and peed all over me, like I wasn't there. I was covered in pee and blood, but was determined to get out on stage in time. I made it and the second I got to the microphone, all I could do was squeal. I made a joke like "Whelp, here I am, 37 weeks pregnant and bleeding...and SQUEALING...like a stuck pig!" And everyone just laughed.
I've had a lot of weird ones, but I seem to forget the details quickly after waking up.
Last night I dreamt that DH an I were hanging out with Daryl from The Office, and his daughter was with him. We were in our apartment. Daryl's daughter told him there was a ghost hanging around and she was scared (the ghost had a name, I think it was Doog, or Droog, I can't quite remember now). We all laughed indulgently, thinking she was just being a kid. Then this horrible noise came from the living room, and everyone was screaming except for her; she just stood there, calmly staring right at me, and said, "Uh-oh, Doog is here."
Then I woke up terrified and had to cuddle MH until I could fall asleep again.
Did anyone else notice there seems to be a lot of kitten/puppy related dreams? There's gotta be some sort of significance of puppies & kittens in a pregnant woman's dreams.

Last night I dreamed I was telling someone about how I was doing all my peeing for the day in one go so wouldn't have to pee again for the entire day and I could go and get a pedicure, "Preferably a vanishing one". I've never had a pedicure in my life and I don't know why anyone would be interested in a disappearing one. Not having to pee for an entire day sounds nice, though.
So, I had a fun dream last night. Apparently, our church was having a Frozen themed day for the kids. There were a ton of kids that came to the Sunday service dressed in Frozen costumes/clothes. After the message, the preacher said, "Okay kids, it's time to raise awareness about world hunger! Everyone come over here in front of the big TV." DH and the preacher got behind the TV and shot fireballs at the kids through the TV. There was lots of crying.

Weirdest dream I've had yet was last night...I was at my aunt and uncles house staying with them in my hometown (don't know why I'd be staying there and not with my own parents but whatever). I had the baby, it was a girl, and my aunt and uncle were asking when she was born/what her birthday would be. I responded by telling them "I'm not sure yet, I keep pushing her back inside and letting her come out when she wants to come out, so her birthday will be whatever day she decides to stop willingly go back inside of my uterus". Wtf?
So, I've always had crazy dreams so I'd hadn't commented on this thread. But this one was one of the few that involved baby. I'd already had the baby and couldn't remember the labor or the baby's name. Someone was holding my baby and then suddenly ran away with the baby. I followed and found they and myself in a race. So I was running a 5k right after giving birth. Uh, no. I finally caught up to the person and got my baby back. I then tried to breast-feeding but found out I couldn't, I was so upset it transitioned me into another dream that was worse but I can't recall right now.
I think I am officially the AW of this thread. I never have weird dreams so it is just a bit entertaining and upsetting that my dreams have been so bizarre. I had a dream the other night that I was in this lecture hall at some college and I was either auditing the class or observing a specific student or something because I wasn't in the class, but taking notes on the people. I noticed one guy was wearing sweatpants (I even wrote it down in my notebook "Wearing sweatpants") and I quietly went up to him and called him out of class. We get into the hall and my water breaks everywhere. He freaks out and says "Where is your husband?!" I said "At work." So we jumped into his car and he started driving me to my husband's work. He was swerving and driving like crazy and suddenly we came to a red light. He stopped wicked short and put out a hand to stop me from flying forward and grabbed a handful of boob. Suddenly, I look at him and start making out with him. We are stopped at this red light and just start going at it. I was so embarrassed because there was like this huge mess in his car. I felt so guilty when I woke up that I started crying and "confessed" to MH. Weird.
Resurrecting this because I'm still laughing at my dream last night. And thinking I might have found the way I'm gonna make my millions!
In my dream I owned a pre/postnatal gym. Called Bodysnatchers. That's all I remember but tell me that isn't the best name for a gym for pregnant ladies!
I had a super realistic dream last night that I went to the hospital for my planned RCS and for some reason they put me under (NOT our plan at all). I woke up and was at home with this super tiny preemie boy baby and I was sure he wasn't mine, but he was so cute and I started BFing him. I called the hospital and asked if they were sure this was my baby and they assured me it was, so I just figured that was cool. I even went through all my son's old clothes again to dig out the preemie stuff. People were visiting and oohing and ahhing over the cute little baby and he was just so sweet. Then, MH came home from work, took one look at me and one look at the baby and asked why I was BFing someone else's baby. I tried to explain that this is our baby, even though we were expecting a girl and I was supposedly at full-term, there is always room for error etc etc. He interrupted me and said "But you are still pregnant!" and I looked down and I was totally still super pregnant and could even see Luna's kicks moving my belly. I called the hospital again and said that I was still pregnant, but they just kept saying that the baby they gave me is mine. MH and I were super confused and then he said "Ok, well, I guess we will have more kids than we thought. What should we name him?" and we continued on like it was totally normal. We named him Desmond and my (I guess other) son Renzo was so excited he was getting 2 babies instead of just one!
I had a terrifying one last night. I dreamed that my ex-stepmother (who is dead, so wtf brain) knocked me out and gave me a c-section and stole my babies. When I woke up locked in an empty room looking for my babies, wondering why I had an incision and was no longer pregnant, she appeared at the little window in the door like in a psych ward movie. I asked why she gave me a c-section and she said it was because she didn't know if I had STDs (what?!) and took the babies because they needed to bottle feed and I had no business breastfeeding. Eventually I broke out and found both babies in a single bassinet in an empty room except for some dog poop on the floor, suffocating on a blanket. This 2 days after I dreamed I had an emergency c-section and I woke up in a hospital in another state and they couldn't tell me where my husband or babies were.
I woke and up told DH "in the hospital, don't let anyone else touch our babies."
Last night I had a dream about my 2 college roommates. (Backstory: We had this huge, stupid fight (mostly the fault of immature, ridiculous college me) about a month before our lease ended. That was about 13 years ago, and I haven't seen or spoken to either of them since.) In the dream, I saw them at this restaurant in our old college town and went over to say hi. It was super-awkward considering how we ended things, but they asked me to sit down and have lunch with them. We all apologized and were sobbing at this booth with our babies (I don't even know if they have kids now since we didn't keep in touch!). Then, my ex-boyfriend from college (who, in real life, actually does own this particular restaurant now) came over and offered us all tissues. It was so weird!
Last night I had a dream that my coworker (and friend) came over to my apartment so that I could finish training her on some things she'll be handling for me while I am on leave. While she was there my dog, Birdie, got into a garbage bag full of bbq sauce and was covered head to toe in it so we had to give her a bath. Turns out it wasn't Birdie but some other white fluffy dog that only looked like Birdie because of all the bbq sauce. SO WEIRD.

@LovingLife! It was SO Stephen King. It even had this creepy patterned hotel lobby carpet that added to the scary. I actually am a writer, but don't do horror. I guess my subconscious does, though!
