There are certain people in mine and H's life that I really don't mind being DD for, but for someone to invite me to come along but not ASK if I was ok with being DD first would be really upsetting.

I'd be so tempted to leave them. Cabs count as an acceptable alternative to DDs

I feel badly if my post on the wives tales thread was misinterpreted. My gif was purely because I knew it was going to get some flame because of the original question. By this point in our pregnancies, with multiple u/s "confirming" it's one sex, it shouldn't be a question at all.

My ONLY "feeling" with this kid, and I'll probably be very wrong since I'm a FTM, is that she's coming early. I've been feeling this for almost 3 weeks, and I just get this feeling she really wants to be a May baby, but she doesn't understand how freaking cool you guys are, so I'm keeping the trap door shut lol

My son wears converse all the time. I got him some at good will for $1.99 and they are seriosuly the best shoes for him. I got a pair the next size up at a local store on clearance for $12 that he is in now. I'm hoping I can find another pair in the next size cheap like the others I have.

I knew that my daughter would be late. I was due the 19th of July and thought I may even go into August. So when I woke up on the 20th and my water had broke I just couldn't believe it. I told my H "I'm a ftm I have like 9 days before she's suppose to be here" apparently my instinct is terrible lol.

lol. Actually the groomsmen, my ring bearer and my H had the same turquoise ones, and after the ceremony, I changed out of my completely rhinestoned-by-hand flats (I'm ridiculous.... It's a skater problem) into kind of sparkly silver converse for the reception. It was awesome. And now baby girl has both a blue and a silver pair

Just has the most delicious ice cream at sweet frog. Then got the worst heart burn nothing some tums and Zantac can't fix.

today there was a huge consignment sale by me. I got so much stuff for LO. Wooden cars, saftey vests for swimming, musical instruments and my biggest a score a book shelf.

We we also picked up our crib. Our close friend never used it for his daughter when he had visits since they shared visitation. We just need to register for a mattress and get some matching furniture.

Any suggestions on mattress?

My sister suggested a serta. I've asked some of the moms I coach with and they all said serta or a Seely. We ended up with the serta perfect mornings, which actually doubles as a toddler mattress too! But I think most mattresses do these days.
