Good morning everyone, it's checkin time! Although I haven't had a lot of time to respond to posts lately, I've been reading each one and wishing and hoping the best for everyone, and am happy to see our BFP hall of fame growing weekly.
Congratulations to @22mango22 for your BFP! Also, welcome to the board, @Mythril
It has been a long time since I've done my own update. We had to bench ourselves because we bought our dream house last October so money was tight.
Since then we have tried one cycle of IVF and got 3 arrested embryos. It's looking like an egg quality issue and we are considering next steps. We have spent so much money into this and it might be time for us to face some hard realities.
I've been trying to cling to our faith and at this point we are not going to give up. I know that I will be a mother one day but it will definitely come from a more non traditional route and most likely not a pregnancy of my own. But for the time being, I'm going to continue learning and helping anyone I can on this journey.
On CD9 and just finished my first round of clomid 2 days ago. Have a blood test scheduled for the 23rd to see if I can start a second round of provera/clomid or if this one was enough to make a BFP happen.
Im hoping stress doesn't screw me up this cycle. My parents just sold the house (and my dog) that we were renting from them so we had less then a month to find a place and move and I had a hard time getting days off of work to move.
Qotw: I have a playlist of mostly country I listen to when I'm feeling hopeless. We have 4 people who know we are actively ttc and have been having problems for so long and the one who is my fiancé's cousins baby momma and my former best friend constantly tells me that we should give up and that having a baby would destroy our relationship (truth is that she has the only great grand kids in his family so currently the trust that his grandparents set up only has her two kids listed as beneficiaries so she doesn't want any of the other grand kids having kids before they die so her kids get all of the money) so typically after seeing her I blast "fight song" over and over and over again until I no longer want to turn the car around and punch her.
Not a whole lotta updates this week. Celebrating my second cycle in a row that is technically perfect. I enjoy it when my body appears to be working as it should.
QOTW: Depending on what kind of inspiration I need...when I am cleaning or working out, I like listening to good sing along music. Something upbeat. If I am angry or upset...Good Charlotte. It reminds me of when I was younger and had less responsibilities. If I am sad I like reading old letters or nice notes people have written to me or about me.
@Goldenkeys - I'm so sorry to hear that. You and your husband and in my thoughts and prayers.
As for me...I got my BFP last week and my betas came back looking great.
Good luck to all you ladies struggling, don't lose hope! It took us 14 long months and many treatments, but we were lucky enough to finally conceive. I'll miss this board and hope to see many of you on the BMBs.
Nothing new hear....just waiting to ovulate. My husband's second sa is on Thursday. I went out yesterday and got progesterone cream for after I ovulate cause I've noticed my post o temps dont get as high as they used to....but i read up on the stuff and a lot of what I see if negative. I DON'T Want To Do anymore Damage and make the ttc journey any harder...so I might hold off on using it and just look forward to starting iui within the next couple of cycles.
CD2 here follicle scan on Tuesday 3/8 for IUI#3. Also have IVF consultation Thursday 3/10. Not sure what RE will suggest for medications he probably will stick to clomid since ive responded twice now. GL everyone!
QOTW: some fun music I suppose...but to get me out of a funk I turn to pinterest and look at humor pages and it helps me remember life should be fun and not to stress so bad.
Taking this month off since we are officially moving to IVF after my 5th BFN from IUIs. I will not be monitored and I am not on any meds this month. Next week I have a hysteroscopy and mock transfer scheduled and the week after that we have our nurse consult for IVF where we will go over the specifics of everything. I will probably be quiet on this board until we start with IVF next cycle in April.
@GoldenKeys can you please update my treatment to IVF? Thanks!
QOTW: I am starting to practice mindfulness into my daily routine and listening to something calming can help for inspiration, also coming here and reading about success stories help

@GoldenKeys - I'm sorry to hear your update. I'm glad you're staying positive and not giving up hope. This is so hard.
As for me, right now we're just waiting until our IVF consult on the 15th and then we will know more. My husband has another SA and bloodwork on Thursday and I'm hopeful that we'll see more improvement. I'm expecting his T levels have improved because the ED issues he was having from the sudden drop in T after stopping androgel have officially gone away (yay!!) and he's feeling more normal. At the same time though, if we do see more improvement in the SA that might make me feel more confused than ever about what we should do about our recent decision to move to IVF. Hoping the doctors will have some recommendations for us.
Sorry @erica0901 and @Drove2u for your BFNs. I have been out of town and haven't been checking here since last Thursday and I was hoping for good news from you both. Hopefully we will be IVF cycle buddies.
QOTW: I enjoy listening to Broadway show tunes. ETA the QOTW.

Nothing new to report here.. Still waiting to see my RE again next week and than we will know more. Just trying to work on myself right now with changing my diet and exercise. Hopefully next week I will know more about when we will be heading into our 3rd IVF round.
Hi Ladies, my app would not let me post this week! I have not updated in awhile due to benching myself for a few months. I had a failed trial of Clomid in November. I opted to follow this board's advice and pay cash for a RE. She confirmed the PCOS dx and I am CD 3- had an u/s this morning and starting Clomid this evening. I love seeing all these BFPs since I have been gone. Congratulations ladies!!!
While I listen to ALL types of music- my favorite to drag me out of a slump are some loud ballads that I sing real loud to while driving- Faith Hill is good for that.
TTC since May 2013
Mild PCOS, Compound Heterozygous MTHFR No Folic acid/pharmaceuticals/supplements (too many to list- private message me if interested), IVIL infusion
Bleeding stopped from mc. Levels went from 90 last week to 12 this week. Painfully waiting for levels to drop to 0 go in to test again next tuesday. I asked the dr if we can start trying again after we get to zero. He is looking over my chart and will let me know next week when we talk again. Tired of waiting.... Qotw: I like listening to TED talks, it helps inspire me to inspire others. (I'm a Teacher)
Update: I'm currently on my last day of 5 days of taking progesterone to induce AF. After today, I am waiting around for AF to come. Once AF comes, I contact my FS on CD1 and await instructions on when I start taking Clomid.
This is our very first cycle of treatment, and I am both excited and nervous! I've listed the different medications and stages in my treatment plan:
Treatment Plan: Pre-Cycle: Progesterone CD3: Ultrasound + Clomid CD9: Ovidrel CD 11 & 13: Monitoring for Ovulation + BD Post BD : Endometrin (Continued if BFP)
QOTW: What do you listen to/read for inspiration? Two songs I really enjoy when I need a pick me up: "One Day You Will" - Lady Antebellum "Play On" - Carrie Underwood

On CD 5, taking a break from meds and RE as we are planning our wedding for this July! But still trying, and still getting disappointed. Last cycle was longer than any other I've had in over 2 yrs of TTC. Cycles range 26-34 days! Ah! QOTW.... I listen to Mozart to bring me to a calm and happy place. Also, my indie stuff, Fruit Bats, Conor Oberst, Blind Pilot and Lumineersmake me feel happy.
@goldenkeys I'm so sorry about your recent ivf cycle. I really admire your optimism and continuous support of others. Internet hugs...not to change the subject, but what kind of home did you get? I love hearing about dream houses.
I haven't checked in to TTTC in a few weeks. Going to visit RE about next steps since clomid didn't work. Me and DH were casually talking about traveling abroad for IVF since it's so expensive here.
2 Laps and 1 Abdominal Myomectomy 6 rounds of clomid 5 rounds of iui Several HSG's sprinkled throughout the years to up my chances of a BFP Several dilation of cervix because they suspect the scar tissue is hindering it from fully opening (partially adds to the severe cramps all month) IVF #1 Gonal F, Menopur and Cetrotide ER 12/1/2016

Got a few real answers this week. Found out I have 2 mutations of mthfr. My RE said normally they would start me on lovinox injections, but since Im doing good so far we are just going to take baby asprin and 4mg of folic acid and continue Endometrin for atleast 2 more weeks. We still have 2 more clotting factors that havent come back yet, depending on what those say I may still end up on more agressive blood thinners. I like to read action books and it depends on what type of mood Im in for music.
Almost didn't make check in this week!!! Since we are on hold I have thrown myself into work and healthy eating. My A1c has to come down a little more before our 1st IUI. my sugars have been great the last two weeks, but I have to continue it for 6 more. Sorry to hear that many of us are stressing this week. For inspiration I find good quotes on pinterest and listen to upbeat songs from any genre. I can't wait to get back to actively trying to grow our family.
Might've had a chemical pregnancy, as AF was 2 days late and brown on CD 1. Oh well. Good to know at least I can get KU, was beginning to wonder. Doc has recommended 3 cycles of IUI and then IVF if needed. 1st one is tomorrow. Have 2 follicles of a decent size, took the HCG injection today, so fingers crossed! Happy right ovary had a viable follicle too, that's more or less a first for me, as far as I can remember. QOTW- Deepak Chopra

So I'm on my 1st IVF cycle. And things are going well. Egg retrieval is tomorrow. Excited to get things under way!

Were there other signs of a pregnancy, such as a positive hpt? Apologies if I missed a previous post. I have just always read that 2 days late isn't necessarily "late" as there could be other factors (late ovulation). I hope your appointment went well!

Hi Winnie81,
Thanks, I just noticed your post this morning.... we bought an old, fully renovated colonial. It has tons of character and a carriage house in the back. It comes with sky lights and lots of land too. We normally could never afford a house like this, but the previous owners were an elderly wealthy couple who put a lot of work in the house, but their children did not want it. They gave it to us for a song because the man of the house was gardening in the back and overheard me saying how much I would love to take care of the house. I had no idea he was the owner, we thought he was a landscaper.
