Is anyone else getting regular HCG levels checked? I'm on my fourth beta hcg and the levels have been rapidly rising so doc is now thinking maybe twins.
8 dpo- very faint bfp on wondfo
10 dpo- 12
14 dpo- 100
18 dpo- 1725
22 dpo- 5507
any ladies with similar reads in the past ending up with twins or a singleton?
Re: Hcg levels?
@alanaw121 Its hard to be sure about the number of babies from betas alone, there is a HUGE range of normal which overlaps broadly between singleton and multiple pregnancies. My pregnancy that started at twins did have very high betas (I was around 30k+ by six weeks) and it did rise very quickly at first, but there is immense variation woman to woman and pregnancy to pregnancy. You'll just have to wait for an ultrasound.

To make matters worse, I of course did some googling and found that some people didn't see the twin on ultrasound until week 8 so obviously the ultrasound on Monday won't even be super reliable.
You numbers actually look great and are a little more than doubling every 48 so prayers for a healthy sticky baby for you! Looks good so far!
I've only had 2 beta hcg levels so far
15dpo - 386
17 dpo - 871
We have another scheduled for Friday and an US the following week so I'll keep you updated!

I went in for my first draw this morning.... Wishing each of us sticky babies!!
@jennihaze I get my blood work at a standard ob doctors office and sometimes they get it back the same day and sometimes it's the next day but I always have to call for the results. They only called me after the last drawn because the numbers were so high so they wanted the early ultrasound. Typically I find they only take the time to call with the results if they think there's something you need to know or there is a follow up item because of them.

10 DPO - 15 ( they need to be 25 to be truly considered pregnant. So...that sucked. Drawbacks of testing early with a sensitive digital)
12 DPO - 32
14 DPO - 74 (started to relax after this even though doc wanted to do one more draw just to be sure). This was on a Friday, started spotting Sunday evening - cue panic. Luckily my fourth draw was already scheduled for Monday.
17 DPO - 500+!
RE is happy and went ahead and scheduled our 6-week ultrasound. This goes to show that it's the doubling that matters, not the numbers themselves.

The nurse just called with my 264 beta and said they're a little concerned it's not at 300 yet so I have to come back on Saturday for a 4th beta. I know she's probably wrong but my 4 m/c's brain is freaking a bit.

I wish I could just do a damned blood pregnancy test myself at home every day

@laurenlalap I think doubling HCG is great ! Do not get scared at this point, they also wanted me to go back for the fourth beta.
My HCG levels are; 11dpo:48 ; 13dpo:132 ; 16dpo:690
I was very nervous until I got the call but I think it is going well, doubling time is around 30 hours. The nurse said that the levels were very good but they want me to go in on Sunday again to repeat the test. Are they being super cautious or do they still have to track HCG levels ? It just makes me paranoid.
I agree @KilgraveMadeMeDoIt , i wished that there was a device that we could test HCG levels ourselves. I would poke my self twice a day.
