Most of my sons wardrobe has come from Carters, I've previously shopped at Osh Kosh Bgosh and Gymboree but to be quite honest neither one is really up my alley style-wise.
So!! What are your favorite stores to get clothes for LO?
We go to Walmart, Target, and Ross has really great name brand stuff for super cheap! We've also gotten a few things from babies r us. Most of our LO's clothes have been gifts or hand me downs from friends but as he's getting older we're going to have to start buying clothes. He's still in 3-6 months though so we've been buying 6-9 and 9-12 month clothes.
I've gotten clothes from target before, too. It has similarities to Carters and carries some of their brand so I'm definitely a fan. I'll have to look at Ross and old navy! Thank you both!
@shelbydd I'm admittedly a fan of dressing my baby (comfortably) like a tiny person and not just like a baby and we've gotten super cute jeggings and flannels and t-shirts there! Plus, it's all old navy cheap!
We love Old Navy and Target mostly. We do have a lot of Carters stuff too, but they aren't my favorite. Most everything from Carters was gifted to us. Everything we've purchased is from ON and Target!
H&M has some cute stuff. Target is my fav though. And sometimes once upon a child, they usually have way more stuff for girls but I've found some good stuff for my baby boy.
I love koala kids at babies r us, they're always having good sales too and I've never had a problem with the fit. H&M has super cute baby clothes too and they're pretty stylish
Target! I love their Circo onesies with the funny sayings; it fits my little man's personality and dad's a fan of wearing the funny sayings shirts too. I've also ordered onesies from Kohl's, Jumping Bean brand, but I think Target's Circo onesies are better quality.
I love baby gap, whenever they do clearance sales I nab a few dresses and sweaters. We are blessed with 3 sources of hand me downs, so I have complete wardrobes for free and I just buy a few cute extras.
Zara, Hanna Anderson, Mini Boden, Tea, Loved Baby, Zutano Booties, Gap, Old Navy, Carters, Osh Gosh, Target & Kohls. We mix and match his wardrobe. I always buy on sale/ clearance clothes and use coupons to get inexpensive good quality clothes.
Edited to add: if you like Gap & Old Navy clothes, if you sign up for the store credit card (which works with all of their brands) you get points for everyday purchases and card holder sales on top of sales. I use it for all of my monthly purchases. The points are redeemed as store gift cards monthly. I pretty much get the baby clothes for free because of the points. Best rewards card in my opinion.
Tj maxx actually has some cute baby stuff pretty cheap but it's hit or miss...
They have amazing girls clothes but barely anything for boys! It's not fair
So true! I was just there tonight. My local store had 1/2 of a rack of boy clothes for newborn to 24 months... Meanwhile there must have been 6 racks of girl clothes! It gets worse when they get older though, there is hardly anything for tween boys
I shop at Carter's, OshKosh,H&M, Old Navy, and Target. I love Carter's but they seem to have the same prints on all of their clothes and there's not much variety for boys. I prefer simple stuff without all the prints. I can't wait to be able to dress him up and have his own little style.
@Bognes I splurged on a sailor dress from Janie and Jack for LO. I wanted that classic "sailor" outfit baby pic like me and all my siblings had.Their stuff is sooooo precious.
Oh one that hasn't been mentioned yet - Kohls! The one near me has better selection than babies r us. I also have Century 21 which has great stuff but that might be only a New York thing.
Lots of awesome suggestions here, thanks guys! I'll be going to kohls soon since there's one close. @rachelkawesome century 21 is an insurance company here in the south lol! So yeah, I think it's a NY thing.
Zara, old Navy, gap, kohls, Lillabarn (a family friend's business) Hanna Anderson for jammies, and anything and everything etsy for tiny bows! My daughter wears a tiny bow almost everyday.
I actually don't like Old Navy; whoever is designing their baby clothes just doesn't do it for me. I love baby gap (ironic, since they're the same parent company) and have gotten cute stuff there on sale.
I love shopping for LO but I refuse to spend a ton of money so most of her stuff is from target. I've also had luck with TJ maxx and Nordstrom rack (they both carry Rosie Pope, which is super cute), and also JC Penney-I never shop there but wandered in one day and they have a ton of cute stuff. Their clearance rack is dirt cheap!
I also love Janie and Jack but mostly just to look since they are $$$$.
I'm a pretty loyal Carters customer but the last time I went I was really disappointed so I went to Old Navy and loved a lot of their outfits.
I thought the onesies at Carters were a little cheesy and they had a ton of cute clothes but they didn't seem like practical, everyday outfits for a 9 or 12 month old. There were a lot of button downs, hoods, and tight(ish) shorts and pants which seemed weird to me for a kid learning to walk and crawl. The girls sections had a lot of great options though.
I'm a huge Baby Gap fan and I did really well at the Carter's outlet before LO was born. Baby Gap is almost always having a sale so I just wait for that. H&M has great baby clothes too!
A lot of the discount stores (Nordstrom Rack, TJ Maxx, Off 5th, etc) and sample sale websites (Rue La La, Gilt, Hautelook) sell "designer" brand or more boutique-y baby clothes at a steep discount, so I keep my eye on those sales to get some fun, special pieces when the price is right.
Love Carter's and Baby Gap. Old Navy runs small, IMO. I don't have the budget for Baby Gap, so I hit up garage sales. Seriously, people are just trying to get rid of this stuff, and babies grow so fast, why spend more than you have to? I live a half hour from an army base, and I always go on post for their post-wide garage sale. I mean no disrespect to military families, but the nature of their lifestyle is that they are usually looking ahead to being stationed elsewhere, don't want to drag their stuff everywhere, and don't have family close to hand it down to, so I can find nice things for CHEAP!
I LOVE Mini Boden too! My MIL rolled her eyes and turned her nose up yesterday when I said I'd love to buy my DD something from the catalogue. Ugh! She only buys my daughter yard sale clothes.
I'm so basic. Carters all day everyday with the sales and rewards points, I get awesome deals. And their clothes are so cute. For a special event, I will splurge and buy a really nice dress from like Macy's or Nordstrom.

This is me too. Though for his photos it was BabyGAP that my sister got him for his birthday. I found some baby gap jeans at Children's Orchard too that I like. Adjustable waistbands! His Christmas Outfit may end up being Baby Gap too. I will grap T Shirts and stuff at Target or Kohls. But the majority of his clothes are Carter's. They wash well and hold up pretty good.
