@m6agua Thank you. I feel like I’m learning to be a full human being again and some bits are more difficult than others. I was so sick from 5 weeks until a few days after I found out and now the aftermath - it’s just a long time to be mostly stuck in bed.
@FiancB Oh boy! Henna is a plant. It doesn’t penetrate the strands of hair, rather it coats them. Makes your hair thicker, shinier and appear healthier. The one and only true henna dies everything in sight a reddish orange colour, which makes for a very vibrant red on my natural red hair, but generally only a sheen on darker hair. You cannot dye your hair with other products they say with henna on. They do sell other colours, which are not henna, rather some other natural plants dyes like indigo so they don’t have the same thickening effect. Health food stores will usually sell it in a small package meant for one use.

All my personal recipes are also tested with gluten-free options - I started doing my serious baking a few years ago and it was all entirely gluten-free - so I understand both ways inside and out. @penelope4612 – we always have active
vacations and I still gain weight – hopefully you had fun on vacation?
@cjs260 – I think I took a class or two at
a local store – and then youtube videos – I started with a drop spindle and
moved on to a wheel after that, but some people stay with a spindle forever
(they usually collect a few – they can be beautiful). If I were learning for
the first time now I’d go to Craftsy.
@bornready – thanks for the heads up on
Fuller House – I’m currently watching Full House because it is cracking me up
and I teared up a bit over the promo so I’m not sure I’m ready for Fuller
House.
@jenmlangtake2 – hugs and love – hope you

@dpjennifer – I saw a water bottle once

@BornReady@catiecatp I bawled my eyes out at the first episode. I was not prepared to feel that much, despite just having rewatched the entire original series.. My husband, who is too young to know Full House really, is really enjoying Fuller House. Cynics be damned, seriously, it's pretty funny and I think they did a good job updating it.
You're totally welcome! The loaf was excellent, DH ate the whole thing this weekend.

@jenmlangtake2 - I hope that you get some answers soon. Keep us updated.
@catiecatp - Yes, our vacation was great! We went to Hawaii. I live in the Northeast so it was amazing to go somewhere warm and tropical. I totally relaxed and ate 2-3 course dinners every night with lots of alcohol (knowing it was our last cycle of TTA before TTC again). It was probably totally worth the weight gain... but I'm having a hard time being back/getting back to work and being jet lagged. @cjs260 - my DH keeps saying that, I hope it's true!
@fivetimesnoluck - I LOVE your tattoo. It is so pretty. I have a small tattoo on my butt (basically no one ever sees it except me and DH) and I love it. But I don't have enough balls to put one somewhere where it would show.
@dpjennifer@megsbrock - FYI they have confirmed that Zika can be sexually transmitted so make sure your DH puts on bug spray! I just got back from vacation in Hawaii (where they always have Dengue, transmitted by the same mosquito as Zika) so we geared up with lots of bug spray and saw maybe 1 mosquito on our whole trip I think. Neither of us got bitten, even in the more tropical/woodsy areas. I think it's really more of a problem in cities where there is no A/C and no screens on windows, etc. I think it is probably an overblown concern in the US and at big resorts in the Caribbean (at least right now), and more of a concern in poorer areas, unfortunately. But I would suggest you bring/buy/wear bug spray if you're going to be outside for a while.
I want to tag you all but I'm afraid I miss someone.... So again, thank you everyone.
Just got home from ob. Amazingly everything looks ok! He's not at all concerned about all this random bleeding and even though 3 months post d&c seems like a really long time he says what I passed and how it happened was "within the realm of normal". I'm not benched (that was my fear) and in fact he said "make sure you keep taking you PNV because you're going to be pregnant in like 5 minutes". Wishful thinking doc but I'll take the enthusiasm!

Status: Waiting on AF. CD 34, though I used to always be day 28-30. Last BFN was 12dpo (or when I thought I had O'd). May test again, though any symptoms I previously thought I felt have all vanished. I actually would hope I'm not KU'd at this point since I've been hitting all of my vices this week.
Rants: Fuck you February!!! Began with the passing of my beloved fetus. Ended with the death of one of my best friends.
Raves: March starts off with my birthday so I have to hope it will be a sunnier, happier, gentler month. Literally, since it really seems that we're starting into spring already here in New York.
GTKY: I feel like I used to have so many hobbies that I just don't get a chance to do currently. Most of the time lately it's DIY house remodeling (I'm doing a pallet wall treatment in our foyer right now) which I do enjoy, but I have say TTC, or getting KU'd rather, might give me time to lay off sanding and priming and polying, and put my feet up for a few good books again, or sewing and crocheting.
@cooaladoll I'm really sorry to hear about the passing of your friend. My best friend died almost four years ago, so if you ever need to talk to a stranger who has been there - I'm 100% there.

I hope you don't mind me picking some brains. For those who haven't been following.... my bleeding has been erratic and my phases short. Yesterday I passed a large clot. Dr cleared me and said he believes everything is fine... And to continue on with TTC. I obviously trust my Dr, but now I'm wondering if maybe I should hold off this cycle.
Currently CD11 and I haven't ovulated yet. Signs are pointing to soon but already this Cycle is longer than last (23 days. Ovulation on day 10). I might just make it a full 28 days!
Basically my question is this.... If you'd been having crazy clots and bleeding... Would you wait another cycle and hope for one more good uterine clean out? Or would you go for it and feel confident that everything is OK. Finally having a good cycle I'd hate to waste it... But I'd also hate to ask my body to be ready too soon.
I'm down to the wire to make that decision for the month. Why is this all so hard and confusing?

@jenmlangtake2 - I would trust my Dr but keep in mind that the chances of conceiving this cycle were low - but my MC was nothing like you're experiencing and perhaps if it had been I might have a different opinion...
---TW BFP and MC mentioned - scroll down past the Lilo and Stitch gif to avoid ---
I'm going through something very very similar @jenmlangtake2. Monday I passed a plum sized clot and it's my third AF since MC. (I'm not bothering to get looked at because I've had this in the past and no issues and I'd rather not have more blood work at this point, and it seemed to only be crazy that one day this cycle thus far)
I'm a believer that my body won't allow me to get pregnant if my uterus isn't ready. I say go for it, especially if doc is saying go for it also.
I read online somewhere that the body releases anticoagulants when you have AF to break down the clots, but when you're bleeding heavily your body doesn't have time to effectively breakdown the clots before they exit your body. I like to think that's what's going on with my crazy clots.
That being said, trust your gut! Is it going to cause even more anxiety if you get a BFP this cycle if you don't wait, or will it cause more anxiety if you do wait.
Hoping you get a full 28 days this cycle. It's such a pain when they're all over the place.
Edited because I forgot to add words and sentences.

@cooaladoll I'm so sorry for both of your losses. Fuck February indeed.
@jenmlangtake2 Like PPs said, I'm a believer of it won't happen if your body isn't ready. I'm so sorry you're having to go through all of this, I know how incredibly frustrating it is. FX for a normal cycle for you!
@jenmlangtake2I'm going to go with trust your gut on this. The month before I got pregnant, I had a very light/clumpy AF. We were on our honeymoon and I was getting no sleep because of jet lag and had the worst food poisoning of my life, so I chalked it up to that. I felt like we should give it a cycle before TTC because my body was not in great shape, but my Dr says there was no need to wait. Now I wish I would've. Good luck! I know it's hard to be patient!
Alrighty, sorry for my replying late to most of you. AF hasn't been too kind this time, plus I was exhausted from our house guest that, lo and behold, overstayed his welcome again. However, I have been somewhat keeping tabs on the check-ins. i apologize if I've missed anyone. @cooaladoll so sorry to hear about your friend. I agree, fuck February! February sounds like it has been awful,
@fivetimesnoluck I love the tattoo, please share the finished product!
@Penelope4612 yay for first TTC cycle! I feel you and everyone else with the weight stuff. It's so much easier to gain than lose weight, how is that fair!
@catiecatp spinning you own yarn sounds so neat! I am always wanting YouTube videos! I don't know what it is with me and knitting in the round, I've tried circular needles as well as the 4 regular needle thing and I just can't. Lol
@megsbrock so jealous of your nice weather! I hear you on not getting hopes up. I find even when I try my best I am always at least a little disappointed. FX for the BFP!
@Kay6519 I hope you get the job! I think it's great that you volunteer with animal shelters, I'm a huge animal lover. If DH would let me there would be no cats and dogs at our local shelter because they would all be living with us.
@Boots&Co yay for no longer being benched! I am with you on the food part. I'm a huge emotional eater, how people lose weight from stress is such a mystery to me! @shae86
@m6auga I've been hearing a lot about Whole30 lately, been toying with the idea of giving it a try. Wishing you success in round number 2!
@ThePax89 um, so I'm so not okay with them not releasing your info! I hope that you're able to get everything sorted.
@Aera11 It's so nice to have a night alone isn't it? DH used to work out of town and while I hated how long he was gone (28 days!) I have to admit not having to share the bed and not having to hear is snoring was pretty glorious at times.
@jenmlangtake2 I have never gone through something like that mid cycle, so I can't really say what I would do in your shoes. Like others have said, if you feel you trust your doctor, and don't want to miss any opportunity, then go for it. I also like what @roper2617 said about the uterus only letting it happen when it's ready!!
a little update on me, I started my period today so we are back to CD1. My PMS symptoms are soooo unpredictable lately so I never know what to expect until the bitter end (also because I'm scared to POAS until way after AF is due, I dunno why but I'm scared shitless of the emotions of a BFN)
But it's clear now that the fat lady has indeed sung her big red song and it's on to the next month. Ughhhhhhhhhh. March was the first month I conceived last year so I'm hoping for another lucky March this year...!

I missed last week and I'm late this week. The spring is so busy!!!
We are supposed to be benched but had unprotected sex yesterday. I had the worst AF ever (first after miscarriage) and it was only cycle day 8 so I don't think we are in danger of conceiving. I also had some serious EWCM so?? Glad I'm not the only one wondering what the heck my body is doing!!!
Rave: I got my new classroom in the new building that was just finished this week and it's very exciting! another reason I've been super busy the last couple of weeks is that DH AND I DECIDED TO HOST A FOREIGN EXCHANGE STUDENT!!! I'm so excited. We have finished all the paper work and he's coming in August!!! I'm not really sure what we are going to do if we do actually conceive, but I'll figure it out.
My hobby is sewing and embroidery. I love it and wish I could do it for a living, but I also love teaching so it would be really hard to give that up.
I hate when I see new people added to this board, but I'm glad you found a place to come for support. Miscarriage is a horrible thing to go through. I felt like no one could understand what I was feeling. When I came here I realized that there are people that know and that I was going to be okay.
As of the 3rd I have officially switched over to TTCAL board. Just a bit about my journey... Started TTC in December following Mirena removal, in January I found out I was going to miscarry, and on February 5th I had a D&C. So it seems fitting that I get my first AF following D&C in March. Status: WTO - CD3 Rant: I feel like winter is never going to end. Just when I think that it is almost done... we get another couple of inches of snow. I really should know better living in Wisconsin. Rave: Just had a manicure and am feeling pretty relaxed. Hobbies: I really enjoy making wreaths. Every couple months I come up with a new reason that I need another wreath for my door at work. This month... that I want something that is going to last for longer than a holiday. DH just smiles and carries on about his business at this point.
FX for all!!

@thePax89 Not sure if you are interested but I think there is someone on the TTGP board who temps during the day and still is able to get a temp shift. I think she said she always does it at the same time of day and usually tries to not drink or be too active for an hour prior.

@m6agua I'm so sorry about the email from Target. I had a similar incident last week getting a "welcome to the third trimester" email and I've been extra emotional since. Hugs to you.
@m6agua and @BornReady This should shed some light on why Target is like stalker-level creepy. It's long and pretty detailed. Moral of the story, buy certain things with cash.
@ThePax89 I'm also the day-temper. Just control for the same time of day after an hour of rest and fasting. It's a great time to tackle any DVR'd shows or social media stuff. The only thing I've found to throw a temp this way is eating a *huge* meal before the hour starts will lower my temp majorly. Other than that, I see biphasic and even triphasic shifts just fine.

@cjs260 – I think I took a class or two at a local store – and then youtube videos – I started with a drop spindle and moved on to a wheel after that, but some people stay with a spindle forever (they usually collect a few – they can be beautiful). If I were learning for the first time now I’d go to Craftsy.
@bornready – thanks for the heads up on Fuller House – I’m currently watching Full House because it is cracking me up and I teared up a bit over the promo so I’m not sure I’m ready for Fuller House.
@jenmlangtake2 – hugs and love – hope you find out what is going on soon
@dpjennifer – I saw a water bottle once (that I stupidly didn’t buy) that said “I work out because I really really love chocolate”. LOVE Pompeii!
@reneeannemm – thanks for the links – I’ll check them out – oh and that cake/loaf you just posted looks delicious!

@dpjennifer @megsbrock - FYI they have confirmed that Zika can be sexually transmitted so make sure your DH puts on bug spray!

@jenmlangtake2 Like PPs said, I'm a believer of it won't happen if your body isn't ready. I'm so sorry you're having to go through all of this, I know how incredibly frustrating it is. FX for a normal cycle for you!
@cooaladoll so sorry to hear about your friend. I agree, fuck February! February sounds like it has been awful,
@fivetimesnoluck I love the tattoo, please share the finished product!
@AL_TwinCities so glad you had a great weekend!
DH used to work out of town and while I hated how long he was gone (28 days!) I have to admit not having to share the bed and not having to hear is snoring was pretty glorious at times.

a little update on me, I started my period today so we are back to CD1.

Status: WTO - CD3
Rant: I feel like winter is never going to end.

@shae86 Sorry that you had to join us here but welcome nonetheless. I know when I found out I would mc and was waiting for it to happen naturally I was in a funk at work too. I could not concentrate. In fact I still had a hard time for the next couple of months. But it did get better.
@boots&Co yay for being off the bench!
@catiecatp whole30.com has everything you need to know about it. They also have a couple books if you want but they aren't necessary.
@fivetimesnoluck Your tattoo looks beautiful so far. I just got my first tattoo in honor of my loss.
