Thanks everyone for your sympathy on the house-selling front. I guess it's an unavoidably stressful experience for all involved. It's good to know that I don't have the only buyer who demands that a cracked electrical outlet cover be replaced, a "loud" fan might push me over the edge. I feel mildly put out that apparently we're selling into a market with a lot of buyer demands, but are looking to buy into a market where you';re expected to waive asking for anything to get fixed to make a competitive offer. The buyer is going to take until tomorrow to decide what to do, fingers crossed for a good result!
Omg I'm so excited! I just found out Slipknot is coming to Tampa again this summer, and they are touring with Marilyn Manson! We saw Slipknot last year twice. They are freaking amazing live, and I've always wanted to see MM in concert. My bestie lives in Tampa, so we def have a babysitter in that town too!

The concert was fun--except for the part when I fainted between bands I didn't hit the floor or anything, thank goodness. The people around me caught me. DH was of course in the bathroom when it happened. He spent the rest of the concert asking if I was ok if I ever moved suspiciously.

I have never been able to attend their concerts for various reasons! I have been to countless metal concerts, just not Slipknot they just toured in a Danish city but I couldn't attend due to classes I had -__- so hopefully when baby is here they'll come back and I can finally see them. DH does not mind my crush on Corey Taylor haha

We saw Shinedown. The venue was really small, so it was a really great and intimate experience. These guys are definitely not a studio band. Brent Smith was on key the entire night, which was impressive.
After my fainting thing, we moved closer to the wall and next to an opening that had a breeze. I was totally fine after that. I think everyone just moved in around me too quickly, causing me to overheat. I'm going to mention it at my appointment on Friday though. Fainting is never a good thing.

I met a guy a few weeks ago who is a teacher and came from NJ to Ottawa. He was saying it's very hard to find jobs even as a sub (not because he was American, but in general). He was learning French to increase his marketability. Canada is awesome though.

I totally agree with this statement. I am in no way a Trump supporter (I'm a democrat), but part of me thinks he says this shit because he knows a large portion of the population is fed up with how the government is being run so he plays on that plus people's fears. He's like the second grader running for class president that says he'll get everyone extra recess/art/gym/ whatever and ice cream. It may sound good to some but it's never going to happen. Again, I would never vote for him, but I think Cruz could be far more damaging to the country.

Yikes. Well hopefully because I'm a special Ed teacher, it'll help my chances. There's always a shortage of special Ed teachers in the states, but I'm not sure if it's the same in Canada.
