1. How far along are you? 8 weeks

2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? I emailed my OB's office asking for an ultrasound this week, so I'm looking forward to hopefully having a positive experience with that.

3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: Feeling a little worried about the ultrasound. I know symptoms mean nothing really about the viability of a pregnancy and symptoms come and go, but all I've got right now is big boobs (not sore) and some bloat. Everything else has pretty much vanished, which is making me crazy.

4. GTKY: Did you watch the Oscars last night? Thoughts? I watched until about 10pm. I was glad to see that Leo finally won and that Chris Rock didn't hold back about the lack of black nominees.

Graduating from my RE to my OB. I have my intake today, then my last US with my RE Wednesday morning, and my first appt with my OB Wednesday afternoon.

3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes:
Morning sickness has kicked in full gear, which sucks and is exciting at the same time.

4. GTKY: Did you watch the Oscars last night? Thoughts?
I followed along on Twitter. But I did get out of bed around 11:30 and when I realized Leo's award was coming up, I turned the tv on just in time to watch his acceptance speech. Mad props to Chris Rock and others for speaking up about the lack of diversity.

2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? My first dr visit on Wednesday. Really looking forward to meeting my new dr.

3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: MS has kicked in full force. Luckily it's only nausea but its been very debilitating. BUT I'll take it as long as this all ends with a healthy baby!

4. GTKY: Did you watch the Oscars last night? Thoughts? No, I was in bed early due to exhaution, but I recorded them and plan on watching them tonight.

2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? Nurse appointment tomorrow but I'll feel better (i think) after mmc day so 13w2d

3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: Still "sea-sick" so not too stressed pre-appt but hoping to talk them into a quick doppler so I can just confirm for my own well being. I can not be surprised again like last time. I don't think I can take it again.

2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? Ultrasound and meeting with doctor on Wednesday. I'm excited but also very nervous

3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: woke up with some nausea today! I'm not thrilled to be entering that stage, but I also feel comforted and relieved to be feeling symptoms. Nausea means my boobs will get a break from me constantly checking them

4. GTKY: Did you watch the Oscars last night? Thoughts? Nope, I went to bed at 8:45 and read for a while. DH would have been watching TWD and TTD anyway- Sunday nights are his tv nights.

3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes:
i am anxious to see the doctor 3/16. At my last appointment she said everything looked fine even though I was spotting. I am still continuing to spot which makes me anxious. It's just a little bit here and there and it comes and goes but I'd rather it just go!

For good news though we told our families last night! Everyone was so excited and I found out my sister is pregnant with her third and due just a week or two after me.

i did not but I am glad to hear Leo won!

2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? U/S tomorrow. I'm going back and forth between excitement and anxiety.

3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I was up pretty much all night last night with the worst gas/constipation cramping. It was on the right side which is different as I usually feel those pains on my left and it was so sharp. I could feel it radiating around my hip and down into my groin. Of course, I immediately start fearing an ectopic. I used the squatty-potty method by putting my feat up on a stool and it did the trick, pain went away immediately. So relieved.

4. GTKY: Did you watch the Oscars last night? Thoughts?
I watched until about 9:30 and then watched Walking Dead. I'm usually super into the Oscars but I fell way behind this year and didn't see many of the nominated performances so I was less invested.

I am in an uncertain place right now after our last scan, but looking forward to more clarity at our next scan this Friday!

3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes:

We found out last week that our baby is measuring perfectly with a sweet little heartbeat, but the gestational sac is measuring two weeks behind baby. The growth will be restricted due to lack of room in the sac. Apparently this effects less than 1% of pregnancies and has a miscarriage rate of 94%. Taking it one day at a time and am so prayerfully hopeful for a miracle on Friday but preparing my heart for another goodbye.

4. GTKY: Did you watch the Oscars last night? Thoughts?

I did! Well, most of it. I didn't make it past 11pm. Woke up and checked out the final winners. Finally! An oscar for Leo!

2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? Getting through today. I caught the stomach virus my boys had yesterday and am still sick. I had some bright red spotting early this morning that I hope is related to the fact that I was up late last night throwing up a ton. (Though my PGAL brain won't let me stop worrying and over analyzing every twinge and terrified this is the start of a mc)

3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I am going to call my OB and hopefully get an ultrasound today. I really need to know things are ok with this baby.

4. GTKY: Did you watch the Oscars last night? Thoughts? I didn't. I was so sick. I'm so psyched to hear about Leo's win though.

2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? My first apt/US will be the 16th so that! But other wise, last time I mc at 8w+6d so this week will be a bit nerve wracking. Lets be really, everything will be nerve wracking up to I see a healthy baby/HB

3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: As I slowly get closer to the time of my loss with my last pregnancy I get more nervous. I am very ready for my next appt. I am not feeling good today so I really just want to crawl back in bed and live there for a week.

4. GTKY: Did you watch the Oscars last night? Thoughts? I watched most of it but fell asleep around the end. I thought it was pretty good. I liked Chris Rock and I am also on the boat of liking that Leo finally won.

1. How far along are you? 6 +5 from LMP, 7-10 days estimated behind that for fetal age

2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? I decided to stay with my doctor in Manhattan until we find a heartbeat, so I've got my second ultrasound scheduled Thursday. At around 5 weeks (from LMP) all we saw was a gestational sack measuring about 4 weeks, hoping to see a baby this time!

3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: Nervous as ever for Thursday, but I'm oddly comforted by my tendency to throw up a little in my mouth. It reminds me I'm pregnant right now at least.

4. GTKY: Did you watch the Oscars last night? Thoughts? I didn't watch past Chris Rock's opening, but I checked first thing this morning to see if Leo finally won!

1. How far along are you? 9 weeks 1 day

2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? Getting my blood results back from this weekend. Some of my levels were out of wack, so i got retested as a precaution. After that, my next appointment, which is March 7.

3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: Rant: My nausea, gassy-ness and exhaustion are killing me lately. Rave: Emotionally I feel really good. We also told most of my husband's extended family yesterday so that's one weight lifted off our shoulders. Haven't figured out how we will inform my family. I didn't want to do anything big, just tell them as we see them, but i'm not sure when we will see them again.

4. GTKY: Did you watch the Oscars last night? Thoughts? No. My husband had taped the end and when our son woke us up at 1 am, we quickly watched what he had taped. It was the last 3 or 4 awards. I remember Brie Lawson (is that her name? i don't do movies at all), Leo and Spotlight.

@housewifehobbyist FX for Thursday! Everyone is different but if it makes you feel any better I had an US at 5 weeks and we didn’t even see a gestational sac. At 6 weeks, I had a gestational sac measuring 5 weeks and a yolk sac. At 7 weeks I had a baby with a heart beat.

1. How far along are you? 7 weeks 5 days (or 6 weeks 5 days) I’m leaving it up in the air.

2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? Getting out of the 1st trimester

3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I am just so exhausted all the time. I really wish I could trade that in for a different symptom like morning sickness.

4. GTKY: Did you watch the Oscars last night? Thoughts? No, I’m really just not a fan of awards shows, they’re too boring for me. Plus walking dead was on!

2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? My ultrasound on March 7. If everything turns out well that day, I will have officially made it past the date of my last miscarriage. Needless to say, I'm going to be a wreck this week!

3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I am so stoked! This is as far as I have ever gotten with any of my previous pregnancies which I'm hoping is a good sign and not just a set up for a more difficult heart break later. I'm feeling positive about Wednesday so hopefully we don't get a let down. I'm hoping once we pass this milestone, DH will unclench!

4. GTKY: Did you watch the Oscars last night? Thoughts? Didn't watch it, never been much into award shows but I too am super happy about Leo's win. Much deserved and a long time coming!

3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I'm pretty exhausted. Coming to work is starting to become really difficult to do. But I am pretty pumped for my next appointment. If everything is looking great, Ill be spilling the beans at work and we finally get to tell DS.

I didn't get to finish it, I gave up at about 8:00. The first thing I did this morning was check to see if Leo won and was really happy he did. I was a bit annoyed at Chris Rock. I'm going to go home tonight and finish the rest of it.

2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? In two weeks we get our second ultrasound. Hopefully we get to see the heartbeat!!

3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: We had our first ultrasound today. I am so relieved because the baby is actually in my uterus. Since I'm so early it was too early to see or hear the heartbeat...so still a little worried. But at least this pregnancy is going a lot better than our last one so far.

2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? 8 week mark since I didn't get to see my 8-week ticker last time, and my ultrasound at 9w1d

3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: My symptoms are mostly pretty mild but I feel they are stronger than they were last time, and my temperature is a few tenths of a degree higher. I'm waffling between feeling optimistic about this pregnancy and trying not to feel so optimistic because it could all get taken away again. Also, just found out today that my coworker is expecting a baby in one month. I didn't even know his wife was pregnant! She announced on Facebook but he didn't - I still should have seen it since he was tagged, but I didn't. However, I'm very glad I did not see their announcement last October, because that was right after my miscarriage and I would have cried for a very long time.

4. GTKY: Did you watch the Oscars last night? Thoughts? Nope. I have no tv anyway, just Netflix.

Our next appt and u/s is a week from Friday, can't wait. We've had two u/s already, all good (thank goodness) but this will be our first full appointment and will also take us past the date of our mmc (10w1d). 3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: Heartburn, bloating (like, 5-months-preggo level bloat belly) and endless burping are not the most fun. But today was our EDD for our loss, and we are together, and I'm pregnant, and each symptom feels like a reminder that my body is pregnant and that's a gift. (Plus, crossing my fingers that my new B6 supplement helps a little bit with the tummy issues...) 4. GTKY: Did you watch the Oscars last night? Thoughts? Watched as much as I could...which wasn't too much, maybe the first 90 minutes. Really respect Chris Rock's intro and with everyone in the "yay Leo" camp but more generally I'm just a sucker for acceptance speeches, especially when people are really surprised and totally at a loss for words. Warms my heart!!!

1. How far along are you? 8w today! We had our final appt and ultrasound with the RE yesterday. Baby was looking great with a strong heart rate of 165. Hearing that sound is amazing.

2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? Hmm....probably 12 weeks when I have my first OB appt.;

3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I had my first dose of really bad nausea and vomiting on Sunday night. I was throwing up in the middle of the night.

2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? First appointment on 3/16, which will be 7w2d (haven't made it past that date yet)

3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: Despite being vaccinated in the fall, I developed influenza last week. I'm so worried that despite my best efforts to keep fevers down that the baby was somehow affected, especially in that crucial 4th week. I'm feeling better now, which is great, but still really don't have pregnancy symptoms besides a few little belly twinges here and there. It's maddening. I'm not even sure I'll be able to have an ultrasound at my appointment. Keeping my fx that I can convince them. I feel like DH and I are somewhat acting like I'm not pregnant (not talking about it much, not getting too excited...obviously I'm taking care of myself) and I'm not sure when it will feel "real" this time. I'm definitely not very joyful about it, and it makes me sad. I don't even feel like I can engage here much in the BMB yet because it might just be for nothing. I'm hoping our first appointment helps.

4. GTKY: Did you watch the Oscars last night? Thoughts? No. I actually forgot completely about them, plus I was sick so the whole last week and weekend was a big blur.

2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? My first appointment with the midwife at my OB's office 13 days from now.

3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I have good days and more anxious days. Today is a more anxious day. The only consistent symptom I've had is sore boobs, which vary in intensity. I've had to pee more often too but that may just be the increased water intake, I've had a couple of weepy moments, and I've had some weird indigestion and burping (last night was the first night I was able to eat dinner in 4 days). Still, I can't help but feel like I should be feeling something more, and that my symptoms should be getting consistently stronger. My first appointment is nearly two weeks away and I don't have an ultrasound for three and a half weeks after that, so March is going to be a long month. Do those appointments seem late to anybody else? They seem late to me, especially since they're still dating me off of my LMP and not my ovulation date, which means I know I'm a week behind where they think I am (so they think they're seeing me at 8+3 and 11+5, but as far as I'm concerned it's really 7+3 and 10+5).

On the bright side I've gone two days now without peeing on a wondfo first thing in the morning for reassurance. Will probably use a CBAD with weeks in a few days and hope that I can turn it 3+, then hope to kick the POAS addiction for good.

4. GTKY: Did you watch the Oscars last night? Thoughts? Oscars? We were out for the first part but watched the last hour and a half or so. Very glad Spotlight won best picture.

@PeggyOlsonFTW - As noted above, I can totally sympathize with the lack of symptoms making you a little crazy. FX that you get in for an ultrasound soon and you can see that beautiful heartbeat!

Ultrasound went well today. I'm feeling cautiously optimistic. Im 6+2 based on O day but they measured me about 2 days behind which has me nervous. The US tech said it's completely normal and that a few days either way doesn't mean much. Heart rate was 121 which I was also assured was completely normal. Now we just have to get through the next 3 weeks until my intake appt with the OB and second ultrasound.

@simcal18 I wasn't originally supposed to have my first US until 9+2 when I have my first OB appt. I called and pushed for blood work and an early US for peace of mind and they obliged. If you think it would help, it's worth calling to see if your doc can get you in earlier or at least send you to a radiology place for an early US.

@MRSCORKER - HOORAY for a good ultrasound and a heartbeat! 2 day of leeway based on estimated O day is not a big deal at all and 121 heartrate is fantastic. FX this will ease some of your anxiety for the next few weeks!

I'm going to try and hold off on pushing for earlier appointments at least until I see the midwife on the 14th. If I don't feel at least somewhat reassured at that appointment I may push for an earlier ultrasound, but hopefully I can at least get myself through the next couple of weeks without going too crazy.

We just had our first u/s and everything looks good. It is such a relief and it is finally sinking in that I may actually have this baby. I'm still not past the point of my last loss but I feel good about our prospects now. We also finally told our parents!
