I can't stand when the toilet paper is put on the "wrong" way. So much so that I will almost always change it. Yeah, it bothers me that much! (Clearly I have issues, lol)
I just discovered that Hobby Lobby has a website... and I'm in nursery planning mode. So, I hope my boss wasn't expecting me to actually do any actual work today...

@DeePaddy24 DH refuses to pay attention when he puts the new roll on. He's not allowed anymore because I was tired of fixing it! It always goes over, never under!
My confession: DS2 keeps climbing on the couch and running back and forth/jumping. I keep making him sit down or taking him off the couch. Confession is part of me just wants to let him fall so he learns his lesson! However I'm terrified he will get seriously hurt so I will keep correcting him. Why don't 18 month olds listen better!!?!
1. H royally annoyed me last night, so this morning when I was putting a lunch together for him I didn't pack any treats - just boring sandwiches and an apple. That was my way of letting him know I still love him, but he annoyed the fuck out of me.
2. Sometimes I forget to switch loads of laundry from the washer to the dryer. More often than not, I don't realize it until the next morning when H is getting ready for work and it's the load that includes all of his socks and underwear. So...if that does happen and he has none left in his drawer, I grab a pair of semi-clean (??) underwear and socks from the dirty clothes hamper without him noticing and set it out for him to wear that day. Then I immediately go switch the laundry.
@mrsschmity I've done that before with under t-shirts. I've also had to rewash with vinegar because I've the load in the washer too long. Which reminds me that I didn't change the laundry last night!

@mrsschmity you make his lunch and set out clothes? #wifeoftheyear Yup. I used a hashtag where it doesn't matter. Flame me.
@NicknShan I admit, I do make his lunch and will occasionally set clothes out if he's got an especially early morning. I'll likely get flame for that, and women tell me all the time that I'm nuts, but whatevs! It's one of those things that I've been doing for years that he appreciates and makes his life a little easier.

I do it too most days. It's not because I feel I have to or that he expects it, it's just one of the things I like to do for him. I don't see anything wrong with it.
I have another! Last night I cleaned my bathroom counter with a makeup removal wipe after I was done using it. Then cleaned the kids dirty finger print marks off the doors in my bathroom.

You won't get flame from me for that. I make my husband a protein/fruit/smoothie shake every morning, a pre-workout snack, a post-workout snack and his breakfast (mind you, at least one of those pre-workout/post-workout snacks are made in double batches so I don't have to do each one each day). He gets lunch at work thankfully. I will also set out underwear/socks for him if I'm folding laundry in the morning. The man is sllllloooowww in the morning and I have a lot of energy right away when I wake up. It keeps us on time/schedule and I really don't mind it. He also takes our 120lb maniac of a dog out in the morning so I think it is a fair trade.
You won't get flame from me. My hubs used to make sure I had fresh coffee when I woke up until I started puking it up and couldn't tolerate it. I think it's a wonderful part of being in love.
I swear we are great dog parents to our dog but he keeps escaping and I'm not sure what I can do about it at this point. I feel like I'm a hypocrite for giving others dog advice when my own dog runs away (it truly is a breed trait for a Great Pyrenees...they love to explore/protect as large of a territory as they can...and can't really be trained out of them same as a retriever can't really be trained not to retrieve). Two times he has escaped because of construction going on in the house (despite telling the workers to close the door and trying to follow behind them and close the doors when I see them open). I hate to lock him in a room when construction is going on but at this point it may be our only option as the doors are always left opened. We also share a fence with a neighbor...yesterday morning they had someone come in to read their meter and the city worker left the gate opened so when we let our dog out in the backyard...guess who ran away? Thankfully most of our neighbors know us and when we don't catch our dog right away, they usually do (he's friendly as all get out) and bring him home. Our dog is really conspicuous (I mean 120lb of dog with a white fluffy coat is hard to miss) but I feel like this is a disaster waiting to happen and I'm out of ideas. I have him micro-chipped and his tag/collar is always on him by the way. I just feel like a terrible dog owner when this happens.
ETA - We are adding an additional lock to our gate to our fence outside come spring (one that auto-locks) but there isn't much we can do about the shared gate with our neighbor (it already has an auto lock but apparently it didn't work properly yesterday). I'm calling the city to yell at them for leaving the gate open but lots of good that will do for me. Only other thing I can think of is to patrol the yard before we let the dog out and make sure all the gates are properly locked each and every time.
I've already eaten 5 thin mint cookies this morning...STARVING!!!
I used to make my DH lunch everyday when we lived farther from his work, but now he just comes home everyday. As for no underwear and having to keep up with laundry I just make sure we own like two months worth of underwear...allows me time to procrastinate, but I am nice enough to put all of his clothes away for him when they are clean and I keep up with his crazy work shirt color coding...his side of the closet is basically immaculate...mine looks like a tornado went through...oh well.

To the bolded...I'm right there with ya! I woke up starving so had a heaping bowl of cereal. Followed that with 5 chocolate Timbits (mmmm), & I just unwrapped a cheese string. Trying to decide how early is "too early" to make lunch, lol. It's going to be a LONG day!
So I took the "who to vote for" online quiz and I got a 3 way tie. I'm pretty conservative, and I got Trump as one of them. I actually have mixed feelings because apparently, we agree on alot. I actually really liked Rand Paul. I keep hoping someone else will join the race...
@mkemommy Ugh! We have a little escape artist too, I have no idea how she keeps getting out, but she does. They make these neat little GPS tags, they look similar to a rabies tag but thick plastic. we bought one for her so at least now when she gets out we can pull her up and know exactly where to go to find her. We live on 35 acres, so usually she is at least still on our property, but she also has a terrible habit of coming when she is called, the GPS helps with peace of mind! Good luck!
I'll think of my confession for the day and be back.

DITTO. I just made scrambled eggs and waffles topped with peanut butter. 15 minutes later and I'm still hungry. I feel like a savage stranded on a desert island who hasn't eaten in weeks.

Ugh, yeah, sorry you have to go through this too. I'm looking into GPS tags. Any brand you recommend? Do you pay for a service each month in connection with it?

I went for one more to make it an even 6 and then tried to hide them away. I just keep a steady intake of food until around 1pm or so and then just roll and groan myself everywhere I need to be after that...oddly enough not usually hungry for dinner so I have a bowl of Special K and call it a day.
Oh and I should mention that the thin mints followed my super awesome breakfast of a McD's sausage burrito and a mango pineapple smoothie....now that I have confessed this I want to go hide somewhere...

Tractive GPS system is $6.99 a month and syncs directly to your smart phone. You can even set up a perimeter and it will give a little alert if your dog leaves that area.
Our cell phone provider also makes one, I didn't look into that one too closely though.
@mrsschmity you make his lunch and set out clothes? #wifeoftheyear Yup. I used a hashtag where it doesn't matter. Flame me.

If you're doing those things for him by choice, then no flames--it's the little, everyday gestures that I find go the farthest in showing someone you love them. H often makes a lunch for me, because he's the one that packs away dinner leftovers most often. He makes sure he only takes exactly 1/2 of whatever's left for his lunch, or offers it all to me if we were piggies and ate most of dinner. It's nice.
@mrsschmity I've done that before with under t-shirts. I've also had to rewash with vinegar because I've the load in the washer too long. Which reminds me that I didn't change the laundry last night!
I do this All. The. Time. I just tell H the wash is extra clean

I took the quiz on "isidewith.com" and Trump was my number #1 match (Yes - I already admitted that one). Unfortunately character is not part of the assessment. Because even though his platform is one I agree with most, I would take any candidate over him.
H has been extra protective of me and LO since I found out I was pregnant with respect to any home construction/improvement stuff--particularly with respect to any VOCs, chemical exposure, etc. So, even though I am dying to get the nursery painted, and even though we'd use low VOC paint and open the 2 giant windows in the room, H has gotten super nervous and worried the few times I suggested I'd just tackle it while he's working so hard on the kitchen (with legit high VOC cabinet paint).
So here's my FFFC: Normally I'd push back hard with the whole "look, it's safe, I don't need permission, I can do it just fine, woman power" thing....but I just go along with letting him do it because I hate painting that much. *hides*
@crdo I definitely have used the pregnancy as an excuse to get out of stuff. I think it was one of my FFFC's one week. Like last Sunday I told him he should clean the bathroom while I was out of the house since I shouldn't be around chemicals lol.
Ditto on the eating everything...most of my lunch is gone and it's only 11 am
I need to think of a FFFC and come back. My brain isn't working right now
@NicknShan that's the one I took. I agree with you about personality, that's why I have a problem with some of the others. Trumps is the worst, but others get on my nerves too. I hate politics and simply want someone who won't lie and has the best interests of everyone at heart. Hahahahhaa. Hahhahahahahhahahahhahaha
I've eaten like half a bag of the Cadbury mini eggs this morning... they are like crack.
@nicknshan I took it too, Trump was in my top 3 but it is his character and personality that really scare me, I cannot fathom having him and his erratic temper and racist mind in a room of other world leaders... I just picture him cursing them out & calling them ugly... and us getting bombed for it.

Nothing wrong with it- but not a chance I'll do it! I leave for work at 7am and since DH is self employed he is always still sleeping. I slightly resent him every morning.
I stayed up late last night just so I could let a whole Trader Joe's cheesecake thaw enough to eat a huge slice. And then I had another slice after breakfast.

If this one? Then yes FFFC-worthy. But not the small one ;-)
