I had a random thought so I started this week's thread… my LMP date is 12/30/15. If I breast feed and am successful, I probably won’t have an actual period in 2016. Whoa!

I teach my hip hop dance class at the gym tonight and I don't have a new routine ready yet even though I've been promising it for the past 3 weeks : (. If I could stay awake past 7pm it might be done.

@smmatt08 I hear you! With my DS I had my LMP late November 2012 - I got my period back at the end of April 2015. Two and a half years without a period! It was glorious!

MH and I are skipping out on work this afternoon to go out to lunch together while DS is at nursery. We're celebrating our anniversary

I love a good cheeky lunch date. I even put on a dress! (This happens about four times a year, maybe).

@Paturkey , I love lunch dates! I like them much better than dinner dates (because who seriously has the energy to put on a dress and heels after 5PM?) Have fun and happy anniversary!

My random thought is that I cannot find the photo editors that have the "i am 6 weeks today, my baby is the size of a ______" that I see all over pinterest. Do these people photoshop it themselves? There's gotta be an app somewhere!

@bnsmith85 the worst is all I get is freezing overnight and rain. So basically first thing in the morning is an icy sh*t show which warms up to a balmy 38 degrees with rain and wind. I might feel differently if we ever saw snow.

And.... for some reason I feel incredibly strongly about this topic today. I'm going to blame pregnancy just because I can.

My H and I drove 45 minutes for a movie screening last night. We got to the doors of the theater when I realized the screening is NEXT week. My brain isn't what it used to be.

@annabenanna I use an app called "baby pics." I don't think it has all of the sizes built in, but plenty of pregnancy-related stuff.

@alysie89 - are you in MA? Because that's exactly our weather. I'm looking outside at slush on the ground and just want to go back to bed. I own a dog walking company and only work on Wednesdays, so I have an entire day of walking and hiking out in the 38 degree rain ahead of me.

Ha, yep I'm a Bostonian @Paturkey. DH and I also happen have two Boston Terriers. I have no idea where I found that avatar but the BT/bunny hybrid is so weird/creepy I couldn't pass it up.

@kmalls Nope, I live on Vancouver Island, far west coast of Canada.
So a beautiful area to get outside and be active,except I live rurallyrics and trees falling in a winter wind while you're out walking is a legitimate concern. (The hate on winter continues...)

@emmaaa now all I can think about is a bag of those...

I was TTC since last summer. Actively. Yet I didn't go to the dentist even though I knew I should. I went today and although they can't do x-rays (obviously) the dentist was like, well, this tooth has a hole in it so I can go ahead and fill it for you now with a temporary filling and we'll fix it up after baby is born. I. Am. So. Stupid.

Rubbermaid reveal mop is the best thing ever. So quick and easy!

Dh grabbed me one when he was in town the other day. I was so excited, I'd been eyeing them for a while but hadn't wanted to spend the extra.
It doesn't replace a good scrub but it sure beats me having to wipe the floors by hand daily, in the kitchen and boot room.

@Paturkey is there a specific reason they can't do a permanent filling? I had a cavity last pregnancy and then an emergency root canal (I can't even...) a few months later. My OB had no issue with it. They just put a double layer of protection over my stomach when doing the X-ray, and I could only take Tylenol for any pain.

A coworker of mine brought in a few boxes of Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans today. He knows I'm a huge Harry Potter fan, as is he. Problem is, they keep trying to get everyone to try the rotten egg, and vomit, and sausage flavored ones. They cut a vomit one and an earthworm one in half for people to smell. If I wasn't PG I would totally smell them, but not today! And they don't know yet and so I just look really sensitive lol.

The good flavors are really good though! Marshmallow, cherry, and tutti frutti were tasty.

@kmalls oh that sounds terrible! I've had two root canals in the past so I feel you. I think it was just that it wasn't really bad and he'd rather do the full job with X-rays, but it wasn't bad enough to have to completely fix right now, if that makes any sense. Also, since I'm pregnant it was free (thank you NHS). It might have been different if I was paying.

@PeggyOlsonFTW I hope they find nothing at your check-up when you go!

@Paturkey the last time I went to the dentist, I was in a two-week-wait, so I told them not to do the x-rays and they were all "ohh congratulations, the next time we see you you'll be big!" and I was like... geez I'm not even pregnant, just maybe. And it turned out that I was not. At least now I am, I guess!

I'm dumbfounded because although I LOVE cheeseburgers, they really aren't agreeing with me this pregnancy. All that seems to work is... Salad? Hmm. Ok, I'll take it. This baby must take after my husband.
