2. How are you feeling in general? Just got my BFP yesterday so it's still so new and SO early. I'm cautiously optimistic.
3. What's your most bothersome symptom right now? No real symptoms except some minor lower back pain. I've been not so active lately and have been sitting a lot so I'm sure that's not helping. I had lower back pain before my CP so I'm trying not to let it worry me.
4. What is helping? Haven't tried anything yet, just gonna push the water and get up to stretch more.

2. How are you feeling in general? Not too bad. I feel fatigued and just want to sleep when I get home.
3. What's your most bothersome symptom right now? I get nauseous every day on my way home from work. I think it is because I'm hungry. I am trying to snack more throughout the day and that has helped with my nausea at work.
4. What is helping? DH has been helping a lot by cooking so by the time i get home I can eat right away that has really helped.
lilylover27 I feel the same way--when I'm with DH it all feels more manageable, and then when I'm at work with my thoughts it's just endless distraction and stress vibes! Part of me really wants to tell one of my work friends but until we see the ultrasound this Friday we agreed not to share the news...
1. Weeks / EDD: 5w 5d / edd Oct. 6
2. How are you feeling in general? Exhausted and super-emotional are the leads...bloated and a little bit of sore boob-ness, but nothing epic yet. Waves of nausea but not overwhelming--more like wait a couple of hours to eat breakfast, but then feel better. Though my superhuman sense of smell isn't helping on that front!
3. What's your most bothersome symptom right now? The exhaustion and lack of focus are making work REALLY hard...as if I'm not distracted enough already!
4. What is helping? Sleep and snuggles with DH. Reading these threads and reminding myself I'm not alone! Also being really grateful for every symptom as a sign that it's my body working the way it's supposed to (even as I wish that I could just focus in on my work for a while!). And our pregnancy/letters to baby journal that I write in every night is a nice ritual.
2. How are you feeling in general? Blah! I'm just exhausted, moody, sore BBs, and holy hell nausea.
3. What's your most bothersome symptom right now? The queasiness is killing me. I will feel fine, eat something and then 10 mins later want to throw up my stomach.
4. What is helping? Nothing. I tried drinking extra water and that just made it worse. I'm sipping ginger ale right now and that is pretty great.
2. How are you feeling in general? Ok, could be worse buuuuuut I am super tired, crampy/bloaty/queezy (lol sounds like the 7 dwarfs) on and off. Peeing a lot. Sore nipples/boobies. Emotional. Lower back and shoulder blades sore.
3. What's your most bothersome symptom right now? Probably being so damn tired all the time, I feel like I can't get anything done because I just want to crawl in bed and sleep for days. Also, not sure this is really a symptom but even though I am super excited I am also really scared and nervous.... miscarriage, defects, labor and delivery issues etc. I try not to think about it but I am one of those people that fears the unknown. Ugh. I hate not knowing things.
4. What is helping? Resting as much as possible, asking hubby for rubs, eating healthy, drinking lots of water, some tea and gingerale or sprite if needed, and just trying to stay preoccupied on other things so I don't worry or stress... but also researching and reading tons. It's exhausting
2. How are you feeling in general? Exhausted. Even my one cup of coffee doesn't try to perk me up. And it gets worse throughout the day. I'm not a very fun partner right now.
3. What's your most bothersome symptom right now? I felt REALLY nauseated last night before bed. to the point where it took forever to fall asleep regardless of how tired I was.
4. What is helping? my wife being so super sweet and taking care of the daily household chores and puppy duty (we have a 6 week old German shepherd). She's too happy to care, lol.
2. Still dealing with some fatigue, DH says it is more than from before my BFP but I don't know.
3. Noticed something new last night, not sure if it is a symptom or just digestive issues but here it goes, I was eating popcorn last night and it kind of felt like right before you have to burp. You know like it feels like stomach rumbling and tightening to get ready to burp, but then nothing. Happened about 3-4 times and then again this morning a couple of times. It is almost feels like something is going half way up, to around chest level, and then settling back down but everything tenses as if something is going to come up. Anyone else have this? I am thinking maybe it is a different type of nausea?
4. Water and deep breaths.

2. How are you feeling in general? Blech. All day I feel like I've been hit by a truck. I don't think I've ever felt this tired in my whole life. Jet lag or the flu has no comparison. Coffee doesn't help (except to get rid of headaches), protein, forget about exercise, etc. I'm sleeping for 8-10 hours, need a nap in the afternoon and am in bed by 8pm. Completely exhausted! Also, I'm very slightly nauseous throughout the day - no vomiting though.
3. What's your most bothersome symptom right now? Being tired. Seriously, this sucks!
4. What is helping? Allowing myself to feel this way and currently in job transition so I'm able to nap whenever I want to. DH is helping too by being understanding!!
PSA to those who are super tired, check your prenatal vitamins! Mine had ZERO iron, I had no idea. I switched to one with iron and although I am still tired, which or course is expected, I no longer feel like a zombie from the minute I get up in the morning.
Question for ladies who have experienced mild cramping... I've been told heating pads are a no-no. I'm having mild discomfort in my lower back, do you think it's ok to use a heating bad there since it's not on my abdomen?

@mrscorker I had lower back pain with some cramping last week and was too scared to use a heating pad. I just tried so stretching and light walking and it seemed to help. Sorry not sure if you can use a heating pad on your lower back.

@MRSCORKER mine start aching pretty bad if I sit with more pressure on one side for longer than 5 min. Both sides get very achy.
I googled it and found a lot of posts from women who experienced the same thing in early pregnancy. Not one you normally hear about but, sure baby, do whatever you need to do in there!

Ok legit question - when can reasonably expect "pregnancy brain" to be a real thing? Is it too early?
Because we have a 7 month old puppy that needs to be crated at bedtime and ANYTIME we leave the house and we've been doing this dance since we got him in September and today, I forgot to crate him before I left for work #2 and DH just got home and he ripped apart our garbage (fortunately no accident for him being alone 4.5 hours). I have never forgotten to crate him

It's a real thing and it's not too early and it's a total bitch. So far, I've put an empty container of cheese back in the fridge, walked upstairs and forgotten why, forgot to bring my sneakers to the gym, seated guests at the wrong table and forgotten to bring drink menus (I hostess at a restaurant a few nights a week).
Last time, I forgot to put water in the pot when I was steaming veggies. Twice. I ruined two nice steamers.
@missteacherlady16 awwww poor puppy haha we have a 6 month old lab mix and he started FREAKING out the last two weeks whenever we crate him and leave. Destroyed his bed, bangs at the crate, cries, howls, digs at the bottom. Like, wth. All out of the blue, he used to be fine! And he's never destroyed or so much as chewed on anything before. Trying to figure out if he senses baby and is having growing pains already lol!
But I am definitely claiming pregnancy brain. Started misplacing things and have NO memory of where I put them.
Well week six has started off with a vengeance. I woke up feeling like I have the worst hangover ever and my hormones last night and this morning have been crazy.
The burping! I feel slightly nauseous and then have to like fight up a burp to relieve pressure. Anyone else getting this? It is extremely uncomfortable. I know it isn't the food since this morning I had toast and water and it is still happening. May a side affect of nausea? Also it isn't like a regular burp it feels like it is almost a solid coming up. Sorry if TMI just need to know if anyone else is getting this?

Hey boobs! They aren't tender to the touch but I'm having some localized aching in them and they're really starting to fill out and firm up. They've never looked better! Of course, this is accompanied by heartburn, burping and gas so I've never felt less sexy. I think Valentines day is going to look a little different this year than years past.
