    That's a freaking amazing price!  I briefly looked at newborn photos and most of the people I can find in my area are $1,300+ JUST FOR THE NEWBORN SHOOT.

    Washington DC metro area...Take the price of something pretty much anywhere else and quadruple it and that's what we end up paying.

    I live in No man's land west Texas, close-ish to New Mexico. I paid the deposit, I don't think I can pass that price up.

    Newborn shoots here are around $350-400. I live in the upper Midwest though....most everything is pretty reasonably priced.

    I literally want to strangle something!!!! But I love my animals far too much, so I'll have to be satisfied with angrily eating my breakfast instead. The word "pretentious" comes to mind, and reminds me of my crazy ex-roommate who refused to let us throw her a shower because she knew people couldn't afford the expensive stuff she wanted. She didn't even do a registry for the same reason.

    I can't say what I want ok the babyshower thread because it violates the TOU. I'd love to signal the women on the Baby shower board though! 

    And my dog ate my Jimmy Johns sub! The whole thing. I took DS2 upstairs for a nap and put my sub on the kitche counter against the backsplash and he got up there and snaked it! I'm irrationally angry, hungry, and have no lunch
