I wish I could participate in this nonsense, but I did IVF, so there's no way all the eggs that were retrieved and fertilized in November are all girls. haha.
Based off the calendar I'm supposed to have a boy, but my husband is 99% it's a girl. He didn't even want to talk about possible boy names lol. Last time it said I was supposed to have a girl and we had a boy. I can't wait to find out, but as long as it's healthy, I'm good!
@br0co1ii Ugh, hubby and I are going to have the same battle. He argues that knowing the sex will allow us to do specific colors. I argue that doing specific newborn clothes would be silly, since the next baby might not be the same sex. Plus, we have friends who have both boys and girls who have a TON of hand-me-downs for us.
He wants to find out and then keep it from me and everyone else. I know that will NOT happen. He'll slip up and say "he" or "she", and then my surprise will be ruined. Plus, how does that allow anyone to buy sex-specific stuff?
According to this, boy, but I'm thinking another girl.. I feel like I did with my daughter. Buttttt we shall see! and we will definitely be finding out! Probably around 15-16 weeks with an elective scan! my birthday is mothers day this year and two years ago when I was pregnant with my daughter, an early ultrasound at 16 weeks was my birthday, mothers day, anniversary present!
@von1976 EXACTLY! I'm hoping I can convince him to see things my way. He insists he can keep it a secret, but he has already told about 10 people (that I know of) that I'm pregnant. If he can't keep that to himself, I doubt he will keep the gender a secret.
Haha based on this we're having a boy! My husband and I have a girl name that we both agree on and both love ... not so much with a boy name. The ones I love he is lukewarm on or doesn't like and vice versa.
It's so weird, I was always SURE that I definitely wanted to know the gender as soon as possible. But now I've totally changed my mind. I think a lot of it is that I don't want everything we buy the baby and all of the gifts we get to be super gendered, I like gender neutral. My cousin had a baby this year and it was a surprise, and it was kind of cool not knowing. We'll see if I change my mind...
According to this we are expecting our first boy after 3 girls Not putting too much faith into that though I am also adamant about not finding out until birth but stubborn DH is not so sure. We have never let it be a surprise and since this is our last I think we should give it a go! I am also not a big fan of gender specific clothes anyway either. Right now I obsess over gray/ivory newborn clothes

@br0co1ii I had this discussion last night with my hubby. And I won the argument!
So first, I told him this was going to be the ONLY real surprise we'd ever have in our lives. Then I told him there was no way he was going to not slip up and ruin my surprise (he agreed with that one). Then I asked him if it really mattered to him if it was a boy or a girl. He said no. I reminded him that we have plenty of friends with babies of both sexes to hand down clothes for either one. And he agreed. We're officially Team Green! Whoop whoop!
Says girl for me! Of course I have a million boy names that I love, and I can't think of a single girl name! We're waiting until birth to be surprised with the sex, so I have plenty of time to research! Looks like I might need it
according to this its going to be a BOY! i know we are both hoping for that (usually means the opposite). I did have a shaman in Peru read my palm and aura back in 2009 and he predicted I would have 1 boy. Oddly enough, everything else he said about me, very specific without knowing anything about me, has also come true.

So I have to say I've had STRONG feelings with each of my pregnancies...and I've been right each time The chinese calendar has been right every time too and even it said it's a girl so I told my husband, "It's a girl. Get ready!" We'll see come October. (except I seriously already know, it's just a girl....and I'm soo excited! I'm surrounded by boys, even my dogs are boys!)

This says girl for me! And according to the Shettles Method (which we weren't following but I had heard about), our timing points to it probably being a girl too. We shall see!
The chinese gender chart has never been right for me. I've always had an intuition and so far I've been right. I feel this one is a girl. I know I have a 50/50 chance. I'm not worried either way. I'm happy with a healthy baby and I don't care what genitalia he/she has!! I love them every second of every day until I get to hold their warm little newborn bodies...then I love them even more. #emotionalpreggotoday
The Chinese gender chart says boy for me. Both my husband and best friend (she doesn't know yet though) say it'll be twins. Some family members would be extra thrilled if it's a boy but I absolutely do not care as long as I have a healthy baby(ies?)!
Boy for us. Of course we are thrilled to be pregnant and will love our baby no matter what but I've longed for a girl my whole life... even dreamed about her numerous times that felt so real. It would be nice if my first was a girl so I have that relief from the longing but obviously we care more about them being healthy. I feel guilty a lot for desiring a girl more but I guess I can't help my feelings.
But even before I looked up the predictions I had a feeling it was a boy when I found out I was pregnant. We would love to have more than one child so I hope at some point we will have one of each at least. But healthy is what matters most.
Mine predicts a boy. Of course we just want a happy healthy baby, but if we could choose, we'd choose a boy. However my future MIL has somehow predicted every gender correctly in the family. She has already predicted a girl.
It predicts a boy for me this time. Last time it predicted a girl for me and I had a boy so perhaps it's opposite again this time. I'll be thrilled either way. I love having a son and I'd love another, or I'd love to have a daughter. Yay for healthy babies for everyone!
