R/R/CS: My husband has been getting into the TTC mood by doing research of his own. I didn't think he was that invested TBH, so I'm pleasantly surprised.
GTKU: The Usual Suspects is one of my all-time faves! I love a good whodunit... And a good twist!
R/R/CS: It's my first cycle AL and FF and Ovia predicted my FW as Friday/Saturday according to previous months. I knew it could be off but was expecting later not earlier (no particular reason). Luckily we had sex a few times late last week/this weekend but I used regular lube (not preseed). I know sex in FW is still sex but if I O'd yesterday we missed having sex then. DH tried but he can't do three days in a row. Sorry this is really wordy--it's early.

Month/Cycle: 3/2 (started over counting after provera rounds)

WAYDTGKTFU: First thing today is blood work , then PNV, Clomid starting day 5, then the sex
R/R/CS: Just back to scared. Not only is my body a jerk sometimes (apparently), but my psycho ex is coming into town this month (no idea when) and the police are taking it as a serious threat (with everything that's happened, and what's going on now). It's so bad that they are going to have to escort me from my car into (and back out of) the office everyday. Ughhhhhh stress go away! I have no time for you! I grew up in a family full of contractors and nurses. To offset my stress, I'm going to tear down and rebuild our back deck today. Husband doesn't know, but he'll like it. He better like it!

R/R/CS: I can't remember what this stands for! Anyways, I'm finally excited to try again after my loss in October. I'm feeling really positive about it and I'm not putting any sort of timeline on when I expect to be pregnant by. It feels good to finally be out of the depression that I was in for a few months, so I'm enjoying my life and hoping that I'll be blessed with a baby when the time is right (obviously I'm still doing everything I can do to make that happen).

@cjt121413 thanks. I dealt with it before (kind of), I'll be okay this time (another thing I keep saying). They're just worried because he apparently "has nothing to live for" and all that mess, so it's of course directed at the ex-wife of years ago. Bleh. But that's okay, I'm just going to focus on my new deck! Full disclosure I typed dick instead of deck and almost left it.

R/R/CS: So my H and a bunch of his work friends are all TTC or newly PG, and apparently have guy talk about it at lunch. This cracks me up to no end. Apparently yesterday they were talking about cycles and trying to peace together the fragments of information they've been given by their SOs. H's one friend was like, "Just tell me when we're having sex, alright?" I wish I could be a fly on the wall. H is super private, so he just nods and smiles. One of them asked him if we had a timeline and his answer was "Yeah. We do." Full stop.
GTKY: Such a hard question! Office Space is one. Slumdog Millionaire and The Godfather are definitely in there. I just saw it recently, but Brooklyn is amazing. Gah. I give up. Yay all the movies.
R/R/CS: ***tw tmi***this AF is a f*cker. The bed was like a crime scene this morning. So glad I didn't put our white company brand new sheets on last night!
In other news I'm going to new York in 3 weeks!!!!!! Eeeek so excited!! It's obviously my first time and I'll be there for 3 nights!!!!! Work just confirmed I can attend an event I've been working on. I'll have to work in the day but the evenings I'm going to be such a tourist!

@Xstatic3333 thanks me too! It's the police where I work (gov police), the county police are informed but said they can't do much other than drive by every now and then. They were really nice though, and told me response time to my house would be really quick (there's usually 4 of them within 5 minutes or less). And oh you just made me remember to get more green tea. There's also a green tea ginger ale. I don't know if I like it yet, but I'm going to keep drinking it.

R/R/CS: finally feeling better from my head cold that I had all last week!
*Slightly* mentally bummed by hitting 7 months of TTC just cuz of the stats that so many people are successful after 6 months of trying. I know a year is the normal time frame, but I really just thought I would be KU by now. I've only ovulated twice so I'm trying to tell myself that I didn't exactly have 6 separate chances. I'm trying not to dwell on this and I honestly feel better after having typed it all out.
GTKU: princess bride is my favorite. So many great quotes!
Just wanted to say that I'm so glad to be part of such an awesome community. I love reading everyone's stories (sorry I don't respond but I promise I read and I'm always thinking about you ladies).

GTKU: What is your favorite movie and why? No spoilers grease! I love a lot of others but grease has been my fav since I was little. Can't beat it!

the Martian is my recent favorite.
Hunt for Red October is one that I will always watch when it on or will even pull out the dvd at least once a year. Unfortunately I always seems to get the Soviet National Anthem stuck In My head after watching it. This is NOT the best thing to be singing uber your breath in my line of work...
WAYDTGKTFU: just PNV and bbt right now until CD 8 or 10..

edited because I can't figure out the stupid gif...
R/R/CS: I just realized that I forgot to take my PNVs the past few days. Also, this happened last month too, I've had such bad cramping yesterday and this morning. I O'd on CD 15, I'm just hanging out here until I get CH tomorrow. Why oh why, body, do you cramp up at 1 and 2 DPO?! At least I remember it happening last month so I'm not like "It's totes an early sign!" *eye roll*
GTKU: What is your favorite movie and why? No spoilers It's hard to say but one movie that had a profound effect on me that still gives me the feels is Dances with Wolves. Such a weird movie for a little kid to identify with, I was only like 6 when it came out but it stuck with me and I still love it.

R/R/CS: I feel like my body was all, "oh, you think you know what your pattern is going to be? Yeah? Well FUCK YOU; you don't know me!" And now it's being wonky and I have no idea what's going on. My cycles have been either 37 or 38 days and my LP 13 days, so with no O yet at CD25, we're going long. And I'm beginning to worry about having an anovulary cycle even though it is probably too early to worry about that. I have a sex date with DH in a couple hours before work, and I'm already just not feeling it after this morning's temp and OPK because I have no idea what's going on and what the point would be.
GTKU: This an extremely unfair question. How are we supposed to choose just one?!

WAYDTGKTFU: Just PNVs and BBT at the moment while I let AF do her thing...
R/R/CS: Sad to be back, but glad AF showed as it was my longest cycle since TTC. It is now cycle 7 TTC, so I feel your pain @Megzb510 with the "most people by 6 months" thing. Just trying to stay hopeful and positive. I set up an appointment in April, so if nothing by then at least I can start having all the discussions with my doc.
GTKU: What is your favorite movie and why? No spoilers I have always struggled to answer this question. I always forget what movies I have seen unless they are big time ones. As for chick flicks, I always enjoy Legally Blonde even though it's ridiculous. I also really like the Bourne movies. On this topic though, I seriously think guys are born with a separate movie memory. Their ability to quote movies and remember scenes just completely dumbfounds me. If any of you ladies are also good at that, props to you!
@murray1030, I'm not a nurse but I LOVE them all. I was too much of a weeny to be one (all the needles and blood and silly things I worried about) so I joined the military instead. Haha, great planning.
@NovaSaysNo I'm sorry you're going through that ex-drama, last thing anyone needs in their life right now is more stress, ammiright? I'm sure it'll be fine, better to plan for the worst and hope for the best.

What a spectacularly crap-tastic day yesterday was! Apparently, "crazy emotional blowup," is another O-symptom in our house. Cos that'll make everything better? let's put it on the tv." Uhm, no. Asshole. Just so over it. It is literally SOMETHING every O. I look back over my notes and half the time it says, "argument." WTH???
Rave: Pretty sure I O'd either yesterday or the previous night, so either way timing is looking like -4,-3,-2,-1,O or -5,-4,-3,-2,-1. Nightmare Before Christmas - I love Halloween and this is one of my top Disney movies 3. Sweet Home Alabama - I love Reese Witherspoon, this is my favorite chick flick. I could watch it over and over.
@NovaSaysNo so sorry you are dealing with that, how scary! And I hope everything goes well with your testing.
@jparli sorry to see you back here. I was lurking in TWW last night and went to chart stalk you and I guess by the time I saw it you had already entered CD1 because there was nothing there. Boo. But I guess that answers your question and FF was right after all.

WAYDTGKTFU: PNV, starting Clomid today unless I change my mind (again) in the next 12 hours.
R/R/CS: I had my baseline u/s this morning and everything looked good. I have 10 follicles on one side and 6 on the other. I have no idea if this is normal, low, or high, but I'm trying to stay away from Google because as soon as I searched I started reading about people who had 20+ on each side and my mind started down the rabbit hole of negative TTC thoughts, haha. My doc said it looked good and that's what I'm going to believe.

@NovasaysNo sorry that you have to go through that.
@Megzb510 Sorry, TTC is so hard and exhausting emotionally. I hear you on the 6 months thing. We started trying in July 2015 so technically we are in the 7 month total. Also The Princess Bride is amazing!
@Severmilli12 I loved Cider House Rules. Did you read the book too? I recently played a trivia game and it asked about the Princes Maine, Kings of New England quote. I was the only one who knew it and there were about 8 of us playing.
Oh and I want to add my recent favorite movie. Ant Man - I wasn't expecting to like it that much but it was funny and its one of my top Marvel movies now.
WAYDTGKTFU: Hubby is still having performance anxiety, so sex with POM; PNV+DHA, temping & charting...CM was abnormally scant this cycle, so I may try some CM inducing methods next cycle
R/R/CS: Trying not to be negative, so I got nothin'. Don't know what's going on with my chart other than my crappy sleep may have effected it, although most of the open circles are within an hour and 1/2 of each other. Feel free to give me your 2 cents if you would like. GTKY: 8 Seconds...classic sad love story and I'm a sucker for country boys...and Luke Perry rocks my socks.
@murray1030 that's how I feel about being a nurse! Braver souls than I.

@sldp123, thank you. I'm sure it'll be okay. After I write things out I always feel better (probably why I also make lists). He's dangerous, but I'm no longer afraid. Lived too long that way. And thanks for the well-wishing on testing! I'm about to head that way... ahhhh nerves!
@MRSCORKER aww thanks. It really wasn't that bad, you totally would have been fine! Also, growing up, since my dad was a contractor, if we got into trouble we didn't get grounded. We got sent to work. I used to dig lots of footers, put up drywall, pour concrete, and pretty much anything that was needed. My brother and I once gutted and rebuilt a house as a "bonding" project for us. It was nice.
@m6agua thank you. One day at a time. Or one muffin right now...
Okay, off to take care of this. I'm taking my muffin to the doctors office (leaving in car) so it's there when I'm done. I'm serious about muffin time.

feels like pretty much all the time.
WAYDTGKU: Supposed to be not trying for one month, apparently... But OPK, PNV, CM
R/R/CS: I'm kind of ticked with my doctor. Had a follow up yesterday after my recent loss at almost 6 weeks. When I last spoke with my doc about a week and a half ago, she led me to believe that we could just jump right back in it if we wanted to, because the loss was so early. Yesterday, they had me talk with the nurse instead of my doc. (Not too happy about that in the first place, but whatever, I get it.) The nurse said we needed to wait until I get my period. I kind of pushed back and tried to explain to her what I was feeling, how the bleeding had stopped a week ago, no spotting, and it seemed like I might even O on time, and she just didn't want to listen. *eye roll* She said they always tell people to wait one month with early MC, and rattled off a bunch of BS reasons that didn't make any sense. Give me science! So, question: am I terrible for going rogue? I mean, we're sort of just NTNP, but if it were to happen, this nurse would totally judge me. I just think if DH and I feel ready, and my body seems to be ready, why the F not?
GTKY: This question is a little unfair, so I'll pick a random favorite: Home Alone.

@alicedavid2013 Yes! I too had an inappropriate crush on Kevin Costner. I think he may have been my first celebrity crush and I've had a thing for older men ever since. Luckily, as I age, I get closer in age to the men I'm attracted to. Ha! As for your question... I had the same thoughts after my loss. I was hearing from some people that their doctors said to wait and others who's docs said that the first cycle after a loss was the best time to try. Honestly, if your doc said it was ok, who cares what that nurses opinions are? I say, do what you're comfortable with. It's not like your doc said to absolutely wait for sciency/medical reasons.

WAYDTGKTFU: First thing today is blood work
R/R/CS: Just back to scared.
He better like it!

so many favorites but one I fell in love with is
P.S. I Love You
i also love "how to lose a guy in 10 days" "the departed" and all 3 "toy story" movies.
CD: 20
WAYDTGKTFU: Temping, charting, getting to business
R/R/CS: I can't remember what this stands for! Anyways, I'm finally excited to try again after my loss in October. I'm feeling really positive about it and I'm not putting any sort of timeline on when I expect to be pregnant by. It feels good to finally be out of the depression that I was in for a few months, so I'm enjoying my life and hoping that I'll be blessed with a baby when the time is right (obviously I'm still doing everything I can do to make that happen).
GTKU: What is your favorite movie and why? The movie Once. It's an indy musical type movie and it's incredible. I don't even like musicals but I love that movie.

WAYDTGKTFU: temping, pnvs, green tea, EODish sex

I'm trying not to dwell on this and I honestly feel better after having typed it all out.

the Martian is my recent favorite.
Hunt for Red October is one that I will always watch when it on or will even pull out the dvd at least once a year. Unfortunately I always seems to get the Soviet National Anthem stuck In My head after watching it. This is NOT the best thing to be singing uber your breath in my line of work...
CD: 3
WAYDTGKTFU: just PNV and bbt right now until CD 8 or 10..
R/R/CS: sleep has sucked for my first few days of temping.. But at least I'm trying. Going to work on remodeling my kitchen to distract me because I am going crazy. It's all I do or think about.. I need a break from the ku planning or not planning

WAYDTGKTFU: Stuff.

It's hard to say but one movie that had a profound effect on me that still gives me the feels is Dances with Wolves.

R/R/CS: Rant: Wow. What a spectacularly crap-tastic day yesterday was! Apparently, "crazy emotional blowup," is another O-symptom in our house. We both feel like crap this morning, I have a sh*tty emotional hangover and just don't even GAF. I'm downstairs bumping cos DH is all like, "oh, go ahead, you wanna do your silly yoga? Cos that'll make everything better? let's put it on the tv." Uhm, no. Asshole. Just so over it. It is literally SOMETHING every O. I look back over my notes and half the time it says, "argument." WTH???
Rave: Pretty sure I O'd either yesterday or the previous night, so either way timing is looking like -4,-3,-2,-1,O or -5,-4,-3,-2,-1. Still a little better than last cycle where we missed -1 and O. Temp was up .33 degrees this morning, so we'll just see how it looks tomorrow...FX and I might be moving over to TWW
GTKU: What is your favorite movie and why? No spoilers. Um...My favourite movies have changed so much over the years. Right now it's Hot Fuzz. I have no idea if this is normal, low, or high, but I'm trying to stay away from Google because as soon as I searched I started reading about people who had 20+ on each side and my mind started down the rabbit hole of negative TTC thoughts, haha.

@cjt121413, I could watch Garden State over and over again. Love that movie!
@babymish, sorry about AF, but YAY New York!!!
@Megzb510, sorry you’re feeling bummed, but hang in there. Like you said, it’s really only been 2 chances! Also, Princess Bride is one of my favorites as well!

***TW - Loss mentioned*** Question in R/R/CS
Month/Cycle: 6/5 (1/1 TTCAL)
CD: 14
