Ooooo stomach sleeping, for sure.
Sangria in the summer
Having my body to myself
Seeing how DD will be around DS
Actually sleeping, in general, but that's a long time coming
Being able to play with DD without getting winded
I'm sure there's more, but in too tired to use my brain.
Sex. (For clarification we are still having sex, but it is awkward feeling to me, and I'm honestly not emotionally enjoying it >.<)
Running. And marathon training. Walking is NOT cutting it!
Not feeling like my pelvis is going to break by the end of the week.
Losing the pregnancy weight. (I'm 190lbs. I want to die)
Having my body back to myself/not sharing it with another person. (This has been psychologically hard on me...)
Weed. But I'm planning to EBF so this will wait for at least a year. Who knows, it may be legal by then >.<
Being able to trim "myself" without help/getting cut and still being uneven.
Not having to hear about "what it's going to be like" after LO arrives from well intentioned (read annoying as fuck) friends and family.
@Knottie9983816 If it makes you feel any better, I am heavier than you. I was hoping I would never see the scale hit 200, but I see it coming! I'm fairly OK with it though, as long as LO is growing well.
I'm sorta at a toss up between having an actual sex drive again & vodka red bulls. Both are pretty damned good. I would also like for people to stop blaming pregnancy for everything. Sometimes you're just annoying as hell and I want to eat tacos and it has NOTHING To do with hormones.
Working out and being my usual size. Seeing my stomach past my boobs is WEIRD.
Not having to keep the pregnant enthusiasm up at all times. Everybody wants to discuss the pregnancy with such joy, and I'm thrilled to be pregnant but some days that feeling is being overshadowed with exhaustion and I would rather not be perky.
Saying yes to social activities. I feel like I'm in a bubble now. Everything involves nightlife, athleticism, alcohol, or just being on my feet for an uncomfortable amount of time. I've become a hermit who's life revolves around my DVR schedule.
Getting my sexy back. Not that you can't be pregnant and sexy - you totally can. I just haven't been doing a very effective job at it, personally. I miss my regular clothes, sexy undergarments, shaving regularly, waxing, getting my hair done, all the "maintenance" things I have let fall by the wayside because I'm too sleepy or uncomfortable.
Wine, normal sex, breathing, sleeping on my belly, eating what I want and not what will not make me sick/give me heartburn, hot showers (right now they send my bp crazy) and Advil(Tylenol is not cutting it for pain/headaches).
I'm not sure. It looks like they could be? Just popped up in my news feed in FB today... I wish they were leather instead of PVC though... Personal preference lol
Riding DH's motorcycle! Doc said early on it was ok to ride throughout the pregnancy as long as I was physically comfortable. It wasn't long before my hips shifted and were uncomfortable on longer rides. I haven't felt the wind like that since October and it makes me sad! Also, the typical--wine, fun sex, wine, diet coke, rum & diet coke, wine, stomach sleeping, wine, not huffing and puffing, wine, and...oh yeah....WINE!
Two magical words: Chocolate Cake. I have Gestational Diabetes... yesterday was my birthday but my tongue is too broken out to even taste it anyway due to soaring estrogen levels' effect on geographic tongue... So I didn't bother with it. But once little Eliot is born I'll eat chocolate cake and cheese cake to my hearts content!
No more heartburn, sleeping more than 2 hours at a time, wine, being able to breathe normally and not be out if breath all the time, hhaving my body back to myself, losing this weight, and for the love of all that is Holy..... no more nasal congestion and dealing with cold symptoms all day everyday, day after day, week after week, month after month. Not having to blow my nose 10 billion times a day and gagging while I do it. Its pretty bad when your own snot makes you gag.
I won't miss the million trips to the bathroom! I'm mostly looking forward to having my body back to myself. I'd do anything for this little girl but I've had it with the rib jabs!
People keep mentioning prosciutto- did I miss the memo? Is that on the "no" list?
I believe prosciutto is uncooked ? (Feel free to ignore me, I am vegetarian, what do I know about prosciutto? )
What I know about prosciutto is that it is salty and delicious and I eat it all the time.
FWIW, my doctor is really relaxed about what you can and can't eat. Soft cheeses, sushi and lunchmeat, FTW! Also, in 31 weeks I haven't gotten sick once.

I was just about to post this. I would like to go pee, and then not be feeling like I'm going to wet my pants 5 minutes later, only to go back and have a little tinkle. Baby girl is doing head stands on my bladder these last few days.

Meh. Prosciutto is cold cured. So there is only a small risk if it has been cured or stored improperly. Some people avoid it to err on the safe side, but I think it's generally considered such a small risk that most say that you can still eat it.

FWIW, I usually put it on pizza anyway, so it does get cooked.
Like I said, my doctor is pretty relaxed about pregnancy dietary guidelines. Since getting pregnant, all the problems I've seen with food-borne illnesses have come from hummus, ice cream and veggies.
Nothing unique to add here but can't resist piggy backing on wine, running, non-maternity clothing, wine, sex (eventually), seeing DH as a father (I cry just thinking about it), not crying over every stupid thing, wine, champagne, and probably a lot more wine!!!!!!

I forgot about the crying. Even a cheesy commercial can open up the floodgates. I'm so over this.
All the gym stuff - Zumba, circuit training, elliptical, etc. Sushi, turkey sandwiches, white wine. I came home from work the other day and put on my comfy clothes and realized that I was no more comfortable than I was in my work clothes, so... just the ability to feel some comfort in my own body.
I was going through pics on my phone last night because I had to do a factory reset and wanted to make sure I was able to save some. It was depressing and hopeful at the same time seeing how skinny both SO and I were Pre-pg...I cannot wait to start Kickboxing again.
