Okay, so now that we are all in or quickly approaching 3rd trimester, I thought it would be fun to see what everyone was most looking forward to after pregnancy (of course, we are all most excited for our babies! So that answer doesn't count). Is it something you've had to give up for pregnancy? Something you've had to take on like a special diet or bed rest you can't wait to have behind you? Maybe it's just being able to see your toes again and put shoes on comfortably! What are you most looking forward to?!
for me, it's a nice large glass of red wine and a jimmy johns turkey sandwich!!

Re: After the bump!
All the sangria my heart desires and sleeping on my stomach again (even if its for short intervals once LO is here).
Being able to get dressed and shave without help or contorting myself into acrobatic knots.
I'd also say riddance to fatigue but I hear that'll get much worse before it gets better haha!
This 100x
Newborn snuggles. DD has never been snuggly unless she's sick, so I'm hoping DS will want more snuggles and like baby-wearing more, because I'm pretty sure he's going to have to be strapped to me more often than not so I can chase DD
Mostly, I'm excited to have control over my body back - pee when I need to, not when baby shifts; the ability to twist, bend and rough-house/roll around with DD without getting stuck. I mean baby will have dibs on the boobs, but the rest is mine again!
Being comfortable in any way, shape or form, the ability to shave without looking like I'm blind (thank you SO for pointing that out and assisting), not having to pee every 5 minutes, normal clothes, and MARGARITAS (oh how I miss you)!!
Not having people touch my belly
Sleeping on my back without waking up in a panic thinking I'm cutting off my baby's blood supply.
I am looking forward to DS interacting with his new sibling. He already gives her hugs and kisses and talks to her. Last night I ran to the store and he kissed my belly and said: "Bye sister, I love you!" Heart.freaking.melted.
I am looking forward to being pain free in my hips.
I can't wait to sit out on the deck and or by the fire with a glass of red wine and a few blocks of good cheese once the temps warm up a bit.
Definitely also looking forward to not feeling like I'm on a deadline anymore. This whole countdown-to-baby thing (and the associated I'm-never-going-to-be-ready feeling) is stressful!
I also look forward to not having people ask when I am going to pop and if I am excited to be pregnant. It would also be nice to not have to sleep with a bunch of pillows.
But honestly, I have no legitimate reason to complain. I've been fortunate enough to have a very easy pregnancy so far.
beer and sake
bottomless mimosas
sex
easily breathing
jeans
sushi( I eat it now but tuna is my fav and I've had to skip on that)
shaving with ease
knowing I can do anything without restrictions lol
Brie and Camembert. Yum.
Seeing DH with our son.
Definitely wine.
running
having energy
having willpower when it comes to food
Sushi... Real sushi!
And all the coffee and sav blanc my little heart desires.
im so looking forward to sleeping flat on my back and being able to breathe and not worry about cutting off blood supply to the baby.
Oh, and wearing "normal" clothes again!
Running. And marathon training. Walking is NOT cutting it!
Not feeling like my pelvis is going to break by the end of the week.
Losing the pregnancy weight. (I'm 190lbs. I want to die)
Having my body back to myself/not sharing it with another person. (This has been psychologically hard on me...)
Weed. But I'm planning to EBF so this will wait for at least a year. Who knows, it may be legal by then >.<
Being able to trim "myself" without help/getting cut and still being uneven.
Not having to hear about "what it's going to be like" after LO arrives from well intentioned (read annoying as fuck) friends and family.
