TWW testing week of February 1st

Re: TWW testing week of February 1st

  • @Drove2u don't ever give up! Im having symptoms but they are all of typical upcoming AF! So im staying positive you never know! Many women never "feel" symptoms of pregnancy until after their positive test so don't lose hope. Any symptom I have could be AF or pregnancy there's no way to tell until we get our bfp, i am wishing us all luck this cycle! Next week cannot come fast enough!!!

  • Great news @wifeinraleigh28 , I am sure it was such a relief for you and your DH . FX that you get your BFP very soon !
  • Thank you @ZoeFer!  Obviously I'm hoping for a BFP next week, but if I don't get one I'm trying to decide what we should do next cycle... since our motility is still low I am tempted to do our second IUI.  Or should we just continue to wait to see if we get improvements?  We only get 3 IUIs covered by our insurance total, and we've already done 1... any advice/suggestions?

    IUI #1-3 (Nov 2015, Feb 2016, May 2016) = BFNs
IVF ER (July 2016) = 7 PGS normal embryos
    FET #1 (Sept 2016) = BFP! DD born 5/30/17
    FET #2 (April 2019) = BFN
    FET #3 (July 2019) = BFP! DS born 3/27/20
  • @wifeinraleigh28 have you talked to the RE yet ? What do they suggest ? I really hope that you get your BFP next week and wouldn`t have to choose anything though :)
I think after I get my insurance coverage in two weeks, I want to try two more IUIs instead of TI. SA values of my DH are in the normal range but on the low side. If none of them works, I think we can try IVF this summer, I am just super worried about the financial side though.
  • That's great news @wifeinraleigh28! I've been following your story and I'm hopeful for you.

  • @wifeinraleigh28 Reading your post again, I understand your struggle/question better. I guess if you have only two more chances of IUI, maybe it is worth to wait for one more cycle while the SA values improves even more ?
  • Great news @wifeinraleigh28 !

  • Some of you ladies are in the January IUI thread with me, so I thought I'd join in here too. IUI #2 was on 1/22/16 and my beta is 2/8/16. I am 6dpIUI today. I was terrified last week about my readiness for the procedure because we were getting this ridiculous blizzard. But luckily I was able to get in the day before it came crashing down! 2.5 feet! I though 3 days of being snowed in right after IUI would make me crazy, but it appears that I have learned how to relax. Adult coloring books, reading, TV, and cleaning/organizing are doing the trick. I tested out my trigger last cycle and then was a serial tester. I'm trying to be more relaxed, because that regimen obviously didn't work for me. I haven't tested at all and only plan to POAS 14dpIUI. And that's only because I'm not scheduled for my beta until 17dpIUI. I'm trying not to symptom spot and obsess over every little thing, but I am definitely having different cramping than last time. It's lower in my pelvic area and more of a tightening, and sometimes like in my pelvic floor. It's strange. Some nipple sensitivity. But definitely not as many symptoms as last time. I was an emotional wreck and so nauseated!!!! That progesterone is the devil. But it seems to be treating me better this time. I can't remember who asked.... but I also get excess salivation!!!! It's so annoying. FX for everyone on beta day! I hope to see BFPs everywhere!!!!!!!!!

  • Thank you everyone!  @ZoeFer I think you have a really good point.  What's one more month to see if we can get the numbers/motility even better?  And then we can always do our next two IUIs later on...  BTW I'm so glad you are getting your insurance coverage back!!

  • So had to call dr today because I had such bad cramps in my ovaries. They said I shouldn't of been standing for 3 hours at work. Has anyone else been told that shouldn't stand long in the TWW? So I'm going to dr to make sure that I am okay since the pain was that bad. And the other day the ovaries were enlarged I just hope everything is ok ugh
  • for some reason I'm having trouble tagging people.
So sorry to hear you're having ovary pain. I'm curious to know what it is.
I know I haven't been very responsive to anyone's posts. I'm sorry about that. I'm reading everything and rooting for everyone. Statistically speaking someone will be getting bfps in this group and that makes me very happy.
I'm going to start testing tomorrow morning at 9dpiui even though I'm pretty certain it didn't work I want to know for sure.
  • @ultratomato I am sorry you are experiencing pain! That seems so strange. I am interested to hear what your doctor says. I have definitely not been told I can't stand. They just said no high impact activity like running due to risk of ovarian torsion.
  • @ultratomato I am sorry about the pain, in my iui cycle i had mild ovary pain my both sides throughout my tww but my RE was not concerned unless it was sharp pain. I remember that he has asked me if I am having pain during urinating and I did not. I still do not know why that happened.
I hope everything is okay with and good luck tomorrow at Dr office !!!
@Drove2u GL and FX for your tests, even though you do not believe in your cycle I think we are all rooting for you !!
  • Oh boy! I've been exercising a lot during the TWW. My doc never told me not to.
    9piui and bfn as expected.
  • Just got done at dr and they said everything looks good and that I definitely ovulated 2 follicles on my right and that is why I had pain. They told me that this could be a good sign that I had pain. They told me to take it easy at work though. So I guess I can stand just not for long periods of time. Thank you  all for your support. Fx
  • I was always told that exercise is fine during the TWW, just don't do anything your body isn't already used to doing.  As in, don't start a brand new intense workout program.

  • Mine told the same as @wifeinraleigh28, so not to worry @Drove2u

i know the feeling @ultratomato, after I started hormones I suddenly produced mature eggs, so I went from 5mm to 21mm when ovulating...thought I would die.

  • i don't work out so that could be the reason too that I have to take it easy don't worry @wifeinraleigh28
  • So I just had a call into my RE to discuss a treatment plan. Obviously I am in my TWW and this is my 4th IUI and 4th medicated cycle. RE thinks that if this cycle is a BFN then we just do one more letrozole cycle before moving to IVF. He didn't like the idea of injectibles because he thinks I will produce 5-6 mature follicles. Hearing the plan of IVF is a bit overwhelming to me, so I'm hoping for my BFP this cycle or next! FX for everyone :)

  • @ultratomato i m happy to hear that everything is fine. Fx that these cramps are good sign !
@erica0901 my dr said that he could try 2-3 iui s with injectables if letrozole +iui doesnot turn to bfp. But i think it was not his first preference either. If you definitely want to try that route you can have a second opinion. But i hope you get your BFP and wouldnt have to make decisions. When are you testing?

Is anyone testing this weekend ?
I am only 7dpo, as my last cycle i am having some very mild ovary cramps, trying not to attribute any positive or negative symptomps. And as if the days are not going in order, i open the calender and count the dpo days everyday hahahaha.
  • @ZoeFer Beta is scheduled for Wednesday 2/3 (14dpiui). I will test the morning of the beta and possibly Tuesday morning though I am not 100% sure yet

  • GL ladies @ultratomato @erica0901 ! I will try not to test till next Friday. I have mixed feelings, I am so looking forward to test but at the same time I don`t want that day to come to end being PUPO.
  • @zoefer I tested today at 9dpiui and got a bfn. As expected. Will test until I get AF. decided not to schedule a beta this time.
  • So I tested bfn on. 11dpiui ugh maybe it's to soon
  • @ultratomato It's still a little early. But ugh I know how disappointing that is. FX for better news in the next few days.

Sorry for the BFNs and hoping it's still just too early for you ladies.  I'm 11dpo today.  Not planning to test until Tuesday (unless I get AF), even though I was VERY tempted to test this morning.  I talked myself out of it thinking, "If I am pregnant, I can just find out on Tuesday and only go through the process of testing once... since I absolutely hate POAS and waiting for those annoying line(s) to show up!!"

  • @ultratomato I also just tested at 11dpiui. Bfn. But I know it is still probably too early. Really just wanted to make sure trigger totally out. Won't test again until Monday which will be 13dpiui. Hoping for better news.
  • @PCOSat25 thanks that makes me feel better I won't be testing again
  • Today is 9dpiui for me. Can't poop but can't even blame it on the ovidrel this time because I didn't need it (for the first time woohoo). Other than that, feeling nothing. I have bronchitis and any symptom I would have would be masked me by constant coughing anyway. RE wants me to lose 25 lbs if this cycle didn't work. I'm thinking yeah okay lady, let's put you on all these hormones and tell you to lose 25 lbs lol. They did test me to see if I need metformin and thankfully I do not. Even though I've got PCOS I don't seem to have excess insulin, which is a good thing! Five days I until beta and I'm not anxious, excited, or anything really. Just going through the motions at this point.
  • @kh87 Today I am 10dpiui and I can totally relate with feeling like I am just going through the motions, I can kinda just blah about it this month. Hope you feel better soon!
