R/R/CS: *We have an upcoming trip to Walt Disney World this week through next Tuesday, so I may be testing obnoxiously early because of the roller coasters. I know I shouldn't act/live like I'm pregnant before a positive test, but I also know it will be in the back of my mind otherwise. I may call my OB instead though and get a recommendation...I really hate seeing BFNs.

I used to ride horses. I started in the second grade.

Right now I currently wish I knew how to sew.

Well they can do one, I'd never waste my money on them again and no other tests I have claim 6 days before my period is possible thankfully.

I can sing a tune or two....I'd love to be able to play the saxophone.

R/R/CS: Well, after posting yesterday that I feel much more relaxed and less obsessed this cycle, I woke up to a pretty significant temp drop (-0.57) so I was all, omg implantation dip, I've never had this on my charts before! But then I looked back at my charts and remembered that I didn't even really temp beyond 5DPO the past two months, so, yeah... reality check.

R/R/CS: I caved and tested yesterday. Got a BFP on a digital test, but I can't be happy because I'm terrified. I experienced a CP in October, and I don't know if my heart can go through something like that again. I was also spotting this morning. Le sigh. Why is this so hard?

Testing: I've been testing since 10 dpo...all stark white. I'm pretty sure I'm out this month and I don't know if I will continue testing or just wait until Saturday when AF is expected.

R/R/CS: I didn't sleep at all last night. I just couldn't fall asleep. I hate those nights.

GTKY: What are some of your "special talents?" If you don't have one, what do you wish you could do? I'm good at Calligraphy. I can sing pretty well. I'm pretty crafty, and I can cross one eye and keep the other one straight which is pretty cool.

Testing: Due to the crap timing I am pretty much just expecting AF to come, so I don't really have plans to test.

R/R/CS: I had a co-worker who went out on vacation, which we all have and earn and have the right to take. However, we are all expected to work ahead so that no work is late and I am his back up for the one part of his position that has to be done on a daily basis. Well, I came in to a stack of his work that he left for me at my desk with sticky notes telling me to do this that and the other thing that he should have completed before he left. Now I pretty much have my entire job to do plus his, not just the one little function that I was expecting. Thank you king douche bag!

GTKY: What are some of your "special talents?" If you don't have one, what do you wish you could do?

I think my favorite special talent is my "bullshit detector". Not to brag but I'm pretty much a human lie detector haha

Also, when I was younger I was big into performing arts and was classically trained singer. I did operas, plays etc. Then I went to college and haven't done anything with it since. I enjoyed it but just didn't see a future career there.

R/R/CS: RANT!! & Question

I am trying to remain hopeful. I believe God can do the impossible, but I really didn't want TTC to be impossible. I am worried I may have endometriosis. My sister got diagnosed thru laparascopic surgery last year, and two aunts also have it. I have always had painful periods with severe cramping, except when I was on the pill. I saw my doc yesterday and she also suspects endo. The only diagnostic/treatment tool is laparascopy.

I did some googling and found that untreated mild endo gives you a 2% chance of conceiving every month rather than the 20% the avg person has. With severe, it goes down to 1%. With laparascopic surgery, your chances only improve to 4%!!! Barely worth it in my opinion. But they do go up to 11% with clomid and IUI. Great.

Anyway. Not surprised to see some spotting this morning. Hello, AF. Think we will be seeing a lot of each other the next 5 years.

Question: is there anyone on here who has been diagnosed with endo, who can share her story with me?

R/R/CS: Well, I am starting into my 3rd year of TTC. It has had its ups and downs, but I am still hopeful. I vented to one of my gal-pals the other day about how hard it is sometimes getting in the mood... with my hormones all out of wack, its like a job at times... She responded with "you make sex seem like hard work, and you do know you have to have it to get a baby, right?"..... I seriously wanted to slap her... she doesn't get it, and it certainly showed with that remark.

GTKY: What are some of your "special talents?" If you don't have one, what do you wish you could do?
I have a special talent of putting ice cold feet on my hubby late at night when he's all toasty warm.

but seriously.... I bake.... Cakes mainly. But at my workplace, each of my co-workers get a homemade cake for their birthday by me! I love baking.

R/R/CS: After a super squinter on Sunday I had planned to test again tomorrow. However, AF cramps and a slight temp drop this morning have me thinking I am out. I’ll see what my temp does in the AM.

GTKY: What are some of your "special talents?" If you don't have one, what do you wish you could do? I can bake and cook really well. Also, I have a good eye for interior and graphic design. I really REALLY wish I could sing!

@maeko25I was diagnosed with endo almost 10 years ago and then it was confirmed and cleared out 3 years ago while having a lap for an ovarian cyst. I remained on the pill after the surgery mainly to suppress the symptoms. Unfortunately, I think it is back. I had an ultrasound this past July and my obgyn suspects adhesions around my (remaining) tube. Obviously it can’t be diagnosed through an ultrasound but she said it is something to keep an eye on. If I am not KU within 6 cycles the plan is to do an HSG. I’m so sorry you’ve been diagnosed. I understand that it is frustrating to not officially get the diagnosis unless you do the lap. Honestly, I probably wouldn’t have done the lap if it wasn’t for the cyst and ovary that absolutely had to be removed. Not sure how else to help but let me know if you have any questions!

@PennStateCait I did an embarrassing amount of research on the implantation dip this morning, and from what I understand, it may be below cover but it doesn't have to be. FF did a study of a bunch of charts, and they only looked for a dip of 0.3 degrees or more. Here's a link with what they found:

GTKY: What are some of your "special talents?" If you don't have one, what do you wish you could do? I have a really strong vocabulary, and I really like to play with words. I love a good turn of phrase. People are always pointing out the way I use language, which makes me feel good. I'm also an extremely proficient typist. I can type around 100wpm, thanks to a terrifying keyboarding teacher from the 6th grade.

R/R/CS: FF changed my CH today to CD18 instead of 14. I don't buy it for a second, so I took out yesterday's temp as it was pretty high and I was really warm when I took it, so then it pushed it back to CD14. I'm sticking with that and not going to go crazy.

This is random, but I am really good at foosball. I used to play a ton in high school with some guy friends of mine and I've managed to hang on to the skill. Downside is no one wants to play against me and when I play at my parents' house they make my goal half the size by duct taping cardboard around the goal lol.

Also, O pains are really bad this month and on both sides. This is causing crazy thoughts...everything from "OMG! Something is terribly wrong with my ute and I'll never get KU" to "Yay! O pain on both sides? That clearly means I'm already KU with triplets at 2 DPO!"

I'm currently taking an improv class, so I hope to soon be able to make up crazy, hilarious stories on the fly in front of a live audience. Even if it doesn't turn into a special talent, at least it is fun.

@ssmatt08 Thank you, its really helpful to know I'm not the only one. I work with pregnant patients and coworkers all day long and I start to go crazy. You wouldn't have done the lap? Why is that, may i ask? I understand its a significant amount of trauma and not much result from the treatment, but the tradeoff is that you get a real diagnosis and they can say how extensive it is. I'm not sure yet if I will choose to get it. But thank you for your help!!

I guess I would amend to say, 3 years ago I would not have chosen to do the lap. I was on BCP which was suppressing the symptoms of the endo and at the time I wasn’t too concerned about how it would affect my fertility. Another reason I say I wouldn’t do it is because the recovery for me was extremely difficult both physically and more significantly emotionally; Physically because abdominal surgery is not easy and I was very sore and bruised. Emotionally because I lost an ovary due to the cyst and I was a newlywed, nowhere near ready for kids, suddenly thrown into a panic about my fertility.

That being said, today I would probably consider doing it since I was unofficially diagnosed 10 years ago and am now actively TTC. Most likely, had I not been through what I went through 3 years ago, I would consider it after about 9 cycles of trying and depending on what my doctor recommended. I would venture to say that my viewpoint on the lap for the endo is tainted by the fact that it wasn’t really a decision I got to make.

R/R/CS: My chart has officially been given the label of triphasic by FF. I have never even been close to having a triphasic chart...but still bfn. I'm going into the extra crazy realm of "maybe my wondfos are a bad batch!" So I'm gonna go buy some more expensive tests to get that out of my brain.
Also, my boobs hurt so bad that I couldn't sleep on my stomach last night

R/R/CS: Possible TMI?? Been having light spotting since Friday, you know the kind that you only see when you wipe. Except today I had dark brown spotting and not just when I wipe. So my question is, when do you guys count CD1? I thought it was when you start bleeding- like red blood. Is that right? HALP.

GTKY: What are some of your "special talents?" If you don't have one, what do you wish you could do?
I don't think I have special talents unless you count drinking a bottle of wine in one setting and only having a slight headache in the morning.
The talent I wish I had: something artistic. Like I wish I was a great painter, or sketch artist or something like that.
