    Rory. I think it's a tongue twister.

Hm. That's hard. There are definitely names that I see and am like "why" but few legit names are so hated I can recall them in an instant.

I truly don't care for Bertha. I'd rather see another Hailey/Kinsley/Finley/Marley/briely/whorely/someotherboringnamewithley on a poor girl than bertha.

Too many to list. I pretty much cringe at all of the Top 20 names. Probably because work with kids and hear them WAY too often. Step outside the Top 200 box people!

For female names I HATE the name Joyce. It makes me cringe.

No idea why. The sounds just makes me cringe for some reason. Perfectly fine name really...but I have just always hated it!

Jordan. It's like nails on a chalkboard. Absolutely loathe it.

    Keith, Paul and Travis.

Names that have one spelling but multiple pronunciations. Tara comes to mind. I know so many Taras and I just avoid saying their names for fear I call a Tar-Ah Terra.

Bertha is my number one most hated name forever and always. I hold such strong negative connotations to the nastiest old woman and her name was Bertha.
Other names that make me cringe, in alphabetical order because I can't decide which I dislike more.

I hate Brian for some reason. I don't like Chase because it's a verb. Once I kissed a Chance. Sounds like a dog's name. "Chance! Here, boy!" i hate the name Sloane but it's getting more popular.

    ETA to add one more

Aurora... I don't get the appeal. It feels self indulgent and hard to pronounce.

Agreed on aurora and Rory. Both a lot of jaw movement haha

I could type forever over names I don't like.. Maybe I should just list ones I do like, it'd be a lot shorter

The only names I really dislike are male names used for females.

James and Ryan are not appropriate names for girls.

There's also a girl on my FB who named her baby boy Cameryn and that seems really feminine to me.

Emma/ Sophia- just seems so little girl to me, not adult.

Anything "country" like Savannah, Colton, Sawyer, Waylon. Just NMS.

Jackson, Madison, Sloane, Desiree, Caleb, Jayden, Caitlyn, Amber, Emily,Mackenzie and all it's variations. I don't know if you can consider it a legitimate name though since it's actually a surname, but people use it all the time.  Also Makayla/McKayla/Michaela and Makenna/McKenna.  I guess I dont like 'Mak' or 'Mc' names.  Are those surnames as well?

Isla (which I used to love!)

Martha. Just because for some reason even tho that name only shares 2 letters with my name, that is the most frequently misused name that people call me.

For boys, Richard. Just, the nn Dick... No thanks

It just sounds too cutesy to me! And it's the name of my childhood cat that is rather mean. So maybe I'm biased, lol. I would be more on board if it was Lucille, nn Lucy. :)
