I'm here, lurking a lot and posting from time to time. I'm sitting in front of the fire, watching a movie, and about to drag myself to bed. Monday was hard.
I'm always quietly creeping in the background, waiting for a chance to be snarky.
What's good? Well, I'm sorry to inform you that my husband is the greatest man alive so y'all got stuck with second-best (this realization came after he spent 5 hours last night helping me with my algebra homework without getting frustrated with me, and he's continuing to help today until he goes to work)
Also, I really hope baby gets daddy's math skills, not mine. This guy is incredible.
That's how I passed Physics in college. I like math (weird, ik) but then took algebra based physics instead of calculus based, which is actually way less logical. DH basically re-taught me everything using calc so I could understand what the heck the prof was talking about and then translated it back into algebra for easy math. My hero
LOL, we are the opposite... I had to tutor DH in college in differential equations per his mom ha-ha
Also here, holla! Freaking cold out today in MA!
Haha - DH used to "dictate" his lab reports to me because he struggles to get his words on paper, but took a book on String Theory as his "beach read" for our honeymoon. He's pretty much 100% left brained/type A/logic.
I'm fully prepared to red pen all of DH's assignments - he grew up speaking English but listening to his family speak mostly Spanish (and some incorrect English), so his written grammar isn't college-level yet. I'm so excited - I love writing papers and I'm pumped to help him write his! As long as he continues helping with my algebra, that is
Hey Howdy Ho! I suck at posting when I'm not at work...which is the opposite of how it probably should be, but whatev! Enjoying the fact that my mama came to visit and is keeping DD amused today!
@yodiggity we are looking for both but we are limited in space and trying to keep it under a certain price. Exresso is just so hard to find! I found one and ordered it so hopefully DH will like it. We'll have to do thoae storage baskets but oh well.
I won't lie, I'm shocked, though SUPER glad, we don't have any babies yet. In D13 it seemed we had a ton deliver early, including several micropreemies. We had multiple women on bedrest for preterm labor (who thankfully were able to keep them cooking longer), and a birth as early as 3 months before EDD. We also had a lot of women get induced early for pre-e. Let's hope we have far less of that here!
Here! I check once a day (or more today because holiday) and post occasionally. Right now I'm pretty pumped because I just passed my 1 hour glucose test!! After all that fuss from the post a few weeks ago I was slightly nervous but it was really nothing.

I was thinking about this the other day...I really, really hope that the ladies who have dropped off aren't having complications or anything crazy going on
Hi there! Lurking as usual, spent the day looking for a vehicle that will accommodate the soon to be twins, 2.5 year old son, 3 dogs and ski gear. Yeah, not seeing much of an option besides a suburban.
Hey hey! Checking in after we put DS to bed! I only check on my drive home when DH drives and after DS is in bed...! So I'm usually late to the online party lol
I'm here momentarily... I have NO TIME during the workday so I don't get to come around til the evening and by now it seems like everyone's off having a family or a life or something
@brenlo42 DH works nights so I stalk the boards between other little tasks at night.
@RoseShadow873 sometimes I wonder if you're serious in some of your posts or if you just have a really dry sense of humor. Not annoying, just intriguing.
@AmadorRose sometimes I randomly wake up in the middle of the night and can't fall asleep so I check the board, but it is almost always quiet. I am anticipating being pretty active on late night check in threads when we have some outside babies.
And holy shit, March 16 has a birth thread now. So crazy.
I could not find an appropriate gif to express how I feel about this. I am not ready. I need more time!
Not me. I am SO READY to not be pregnant anymore.
Oh, and to have my daughter in my arms. Obvs.
But once they are out, you can't put them back, and it is sooo much easier when they are on the inside.
Seriously though, I am trying to relish the time I have left where I can spoil DD1 with all of my love and attention, since our world is about to irreversibly change. Andplusalso I don't have my maternity leave plans squared away yet.

Oh I'm nowhere near physically ready, just mentally
I'm here for a second but need to get to bed so I can get up and face the real world tomorrow. I have so much trouble bouncing back after a weekend anymore.

Thinking I'll just get a ginormous bowl of ice cream instead.
I am usually more active on weekends but we moved this past weekend so I'm all like
