R/R/CS: So last night, DH tried to make BBQ sauce from scratch following a recipe from the Food Network for this rack of spare ribs he plans to smoke today. It was a disaster! Now my house reeks of this rather pungent, vinagery BBQ sauce. We will be visiting the grocery store for all future BBQ sauce needs from now on.
GTKY: I find baking relaxing. I could bake for hours! Followed by a hot shower and a good book with a cup of hot tea.
R/R/CS: Kinda feeling like I'm out already. I know every pregnancy is different but the last 2 times I was pregnant my boobs hurt by now and I am feeling nothing right now. But I would be ok either way. On another note I am so glad to have the day off today, but it is super cold outside so I guess I am just going to have to just hang out on the couch all day.

R/R/CS: Hi everybody! I introduced myself a while back but haven't really jumped into the TWW boards until now even though I've been lurking like crazy. My main rant is that I've been super constipated the last several days...I'm guessing it's the prenatal vitamin.
GTKY: My husband and I love watching Bones together in the evening. Also, we love cooking shows. I usually go for a run first thing in the morning (which is a lot easier to do if I'm not constipated...), and that helps me to chill out and feel more optimistic all day.
Testing Plans: 11 DPO, or not depending on temp/spotting
R/R/CS: Eh only rant is been having a lot of bloating/cramping but other than that fine. Yesterday I went cooking crazy and made two soups for the week for work lunches, which is good since it is freezing here! Below is my chart, first month temping so any CS is always welcome! As you can see I have a bad habit of sleeping late on the weekends and that seems to be messing up those temps!
Oh also, funny story...this weekend was the first time DH was in bed when I temped (he usually wakes up way before me) and we both had a little chuckle out of it and learned that our dogs do not like the beep the thermometer does at all!!
GTKY: What is your favorite way to relax? Curling up on the couch with sweats and a big sweatshirt and reading with a nice cup of tea. I love getting lost in books!

Month/Cycle: 4 (2 TTCAL)

Testing Plans: today - BFP!
R/R/CS: So I tested on Saturday (11dpo) with a Wondofo I had and it was inconclusive. There was a line, but it was faint and the control line wasn't solid so I wasn't sure what to think. I went home to visit my parents on Saturday night so I didn't test Sunday morning (I didn't need my mom finding a pregnancy test in the trash). I tested this morning and it was positive. I'm excited, but very hesitant to get TOO excited after my last loss. I'm probably just going to lurk for a while and not jump right to a bmb just yet.
Thank you all so much for your support. I've learned so much from this board and you ladies. I truly do wish you all the best of luck.
GTKY: What is your favorite way to relax? I found this new Urban Sweat/hot meditation type place near me and it's absolutely amazing. Meditation rooms, sweat rooms, relaxation rooms, steam rooms, massages, body scrubs... AH.MAZ.ING.
@emilyIRL You can't really confirm ovulation with just one high temp. You need at least three above the previous six. Most people wait until FF gives them CH (usually at 3DPO) to move over to the TWW. Also btw I can't view your chart - it says access denied.
Testing Plans: BFN today (naturally) I don't know why I'm such a glutton for punishment!! Trying to wait now until at least Wednesday.
R/R/CS: I have absolutely no willpower. I talked myself into waiting to test until AF was missing. But I caved. Don't know why I would expect anything other than BFN at 8 DPO.
GTKY: What is your favorite way to relax?
A good book, or a nap. I used to scrapbook until I had 2u2 and went back to work. Now time is an issue. Also, I'm in love with adult coloring books!!
R/R/CS: I have 2. 1) dang persistent dull ache around my left ovary for days. Probably a cyst flaring up.
2) my temps have been super wonky lately. I will wake up, take it, seems off so I take it again immediately and it will be almost a full degree higher. Has anyone had experience with this and which temp should I record? The first or the second? Today I got 97.11 which is a steady decline and .12 lower than yesterday. Immediately took it again and it shot up to 97.9. Seems weird to vary so much in a span of 2 minutes. I know I mouth breathe and wake up nonstop during the night so this may be throwing it. Any help appreciated
GTKY: What is your favorite way to relax? I love to go run or swim to have complete private time with my thoughts. Swimming is a great way to decompress for me since I can only think about breathing and not 30 other things

@SnobunnieMel You should always take the first one, even if it doesn't look as good on your chart. Also if you are a mouth breather, you could try temping vaginally next cycle (if you aren't KU this cycle).
Testing plans: none today. Depends on how I feel tomorrow. My last 4 cycles have been 28 days. I don't know whether to test tomorrow morning or wait and see if I don't meet AF tomorrow (and test if she doesn't show). Decisions, decisions. I hate this part. I want to know but a small part of me wants to keep believing it's possible this cycle so if I test and BFN I'm out but if I don't test and no AF I can keep hoping...
R/R/CS: see above
GTKY: nothing too earth shattering. At home: sweat pants and book or TV. Otherwise I guess my MOST favorite way to relax is beach or poolside with a book
I also turn to the spa for relaxation @Yailani23 I took off work last Thursday and got a massage and felt like a new woman after. Even just the foot massage during a pedicure is super relaxing for me.
@severmilli12 Do you know what design you're getting?
@minipig90 I'm in the same boat re your rant. My PNV doesn't have iron in it, though, so I'm blaming the progesterone during the luteal phase. Is it sick that I'm thinking I'll totally be OK with this for the whole week (and beyond) if it means I get a BFP next weekend?
@lilylover27@emilyIRL Your charts didn't show up (at least I can't see them on mobile)
@bcooke314 Ugh I'm sorry your husband is still sick and you may be getting it now! Take a shot of some emergen-c!

@HeyBooHey You're 1 DPO ahead of me and I think we are on the same crazy train. I start out so stoic and then everyday it creeps up a little more!
@MaybeOneMore My sister bought me some adult coloring books for Xmas and I originally was like ummmm but I was bored one day so pulled them out and they are so calming! I think I'll do some now...
@pambtoro I do! DH and I gave the designs to our tattoo artist. If I had a picture of it on my work computer I'd post it, but I don't. Its the letter B in a really neat font. I'm thinking of getting it somewhere on my wrist, just not sure where.

@pambtorothanks for the heads up! I edited the post to include the link to my chart as well. Weird that it shows up on the internet site but not on mobile.
Testing Plans: Got my BFN Saturday morning. AF is supposed to rear her ugly head today.
R/R/CS: DH had somewhat of a medical emergency this weekend and it scared the crap out of us. He woke up Saturday morning, used the restroom and noticed a burning sensation. He then proceeded to bleed out of his you-know-what. We were both terrified! I immediately thought it was a UTI, but since he had no other symptoms, off to urgent care we went. Turns out he had a tear in his prostate vein, which is pretty common and apparently not a big deal. Sure was scary, though! In the midst of all of that, I couldn't help but think about how it would affect TTC. I'm a "worst case scenario" kind of gal, so my thoughts in the waiting room went something like this: "Worst case scenario- he's got cancer... so we'll obviously have to delay TTC... and probably for a long time... and he's 30 and I'm nearly 30... and if we wait much longer... and OMG WE'RE NEVER GOING TO HAVE A CHILD." I'm ridiculous.
GTKY: What is your favorite way to relax? Anything that involves being outside. Going for a run or walk, kayaking, riding four wheelers, taking the pups to the dog park, stuff like that.
@bcooke314 Re the three-day thing: got it. Being an annoying n00b without even trying. I don't use FF, but I did change my chart access settings to public now if you still want to stalk. Up to you.
@SnobunnieMel always take the first temp. I do the same thing and my temps fluctuate, but it's best to be consistent and chart the same one. If I have one that is way off, I chart the first, but make a note of the second.

R/R/CS: my temp dropped low today, so low, lowest temp on my chart this whole cycle. I'm just going to sit here and wait for af.
GTKY: What is your favorite way to relax? I love baking. It makes me calm, it's a great stress relief, but then I'm stuck with a bunch of baked goods that somebody is going to have to eat. You know, me.
ETA: all the congratulations!
Eta: Welp, after a whole day of nothing, af decided to show up. I'm heading over to WTO. Good luck to all the ladies here!
@lilylover27 I see it now- thanks! As you pointed out, taking your temperature at an earlier or later time than usual creates those open circles and that could be a reason for the "Rocky Mountain" shape. Also, some ladies here suggest vaginal temping to get more accurate temps, especially if you sleep with your mouth open. My chart is usually rocky but I can still see a clear shift after O. FF still gave you CH so your temps are good enough for that, which to me, is the most important point of temping!
ETA response to @severmilli12 - That's awesome! I understand your predicament as to where to get it because it really would probably look good anywhere. I don't have any myself (because I can't come up with anything I love enough to have it on my body forever) but my husband and a bunch of family/friends have them. I love wrist tattoos. I also like on the back of the neck, ankle, and on the side/back on the ribs.
@pambtoroyea I am going to try to work on taking them the same time during the weekend, the week is no problem because of work it is just so nice to sleep in on the weekends! I am already temping vaginally, I read that temping can be an issue if you're a mouth breather which I am so I just decided to go with that initially. I was so happy to see those CH! Well if I am not KU this cycle at least I am learning a lot about what goes on in a monthly time frame with my body, always good to know! Thanks for the CS!

R/R/CS: Pretty nervous since my temp dropped a bit this morning. I didn’t sleep that great so for now I’m trying not to worry too much and trying to remind myself that I’m pregnant at least for today. I'd like to hang around and lurk for the next few days before moving to my BMB.
Thank you ladies for all of the knowledge and personal stories you’ve shared, the support you’ve all provided, and the snark! I’ve loved every minute of it. I hope you all get your BFP soon and wish you all the best of luck
GTKY: What is your favorite way to relax? Lounging around with DH or getting a pedicure.
@LindseyRVA- oh my goodness I bet you are going crazy. i'd just stop testing today because the hormones double every 24 hours?? or something so at this point you are probably just wasting tests if they have been negatives thus far. I guess if you've got the cheapies, go for it, but I'd probably just wait it out now until tomorrow. how long are your cycles normally? which I guess you don't really have a good idea because if I remember you said this was month 3 off of BC. So- hard to say but so much just yet on that I guess.
R/R/CS: So our bedroom and living room have been freezing. Last night H went and messed with each of the dampers for our heat registers and we are finally getting heat in those rooms! Now if only they could fix the heat at my office.
GTKY: What is your favorite way to relax? I normally like to keep busy. But I guess I will say either the gym or sitting with H watching TV.

R/R/CS: If I can pry myself away from the interwebs I am going to go shopping for a bit! Have off today and DH doesn't. I much prefer shopping without him anyway. Going to go treasure hunting at TJ Maxx & Nordstrom Rack.
Kicking myself for not starting temping this cycle so I could have some data about how my LP looks. IDK if it would help ease anxiety or make it worse.
GTKY: For relaxation, hot bath or long hot shower, CrossFit (as crazy as it might sound I am an anxious person by nature & intense exercise really helps my mood in lieu of drugs), or relaxing on the sofa with a glass of dry red wine & a snuggly puppy or two.
R/R/CS: I'm not too hopeful this month.. I mean secretly I've already planned every wonderful scenario out in my head.. But I just don't think I had the timing as well as I wanted. So there's always next month.. Nothing going on yet, way too soon
GTKY: What is your favorite way to relax? Relax? I'm more of a constant worrier lol. I love to watch tv with my husband on the couch with the animals on our laps. Something funny we've seen a hundred times but can still laugh to.
Testing Plans: Super squinter on a
Wondfo yesterday with SMU. Tested with FMU this morning with .88 and it was
barely there, Wondfo was darker than yesterday and confirmed with CB Digital. I
will probably continue testing to make sure HCG is rising until I can get into

R/R/CS: made it to my destination in one piece....and now starts the week of no temping since the time difference will just throw everything off. Shockingly, I managed to convince myself to not even bring my BBT. I think it'll be good for me, but it feels like I'm going into a black hole!!! ¥%~*#!{*|!!!
GTKY: What is your favorite way to relax? On the couch watching my favorite shows! A massage and a mani/pedi never hurts either.
Married: May 2008

BFP: November 13, 2016
EDD: July 25, 2017
Month/Cycle: 1/1
CD/DPO: 16/1
Timing: -4, -2, -1, O
Testing Plans: Ugh. Telling myself I won't jump into the bathroom once I hit 7 DPO.
R/R/CS: Hi all! New to TTC, new to the forums. I'll try not to be irritating. Got a nice temperature spike this morning after a day and a half of EWCM, so I'm migrating it over here! If anyone wants to give me a second opinion, it would be much appreciated...I'm still so new at charting.
Other than that. I feel like my budget is a mes this month. Blah. But I'll get it fixed up this morning.
GTKY: What is your favorite way to relax? Alcohol? I also enjoy cooking. I think it helps me "be present." And naps, I take a lot of naps.
ETA GTKY stuff. Oops

BFP March 30, 2018 | EDD December 12, 2018
CD/DPO: 21/7
Timing: -4, -2, -1, 0
Testing Plans: Probably Thursday (10DPO). My wondfos don't arrive until Friday, but I have a dollar store test I can use.
R/R/CS: My husband has been sick for almost a week and I think he may have given it to me
GTKY: What is your favorite way to relax?
If the house isn't clean, cleaning it helps me relax. If it is already clean, then reading or crafts (sewing, knitting and cross-stitching)
Month/Cycle: 4 (2 TTCAL)
CD/DPO: 29/13
Timing: -4, -3, -1, 0
AH.MAZ.ING.
Month/Cycle: 4/4
CD/DPO: 22/8
Timing: all the days
Testing Plans: the crazy has commenced...
R/R/CS: nothing much here, just enjoying the day off. DH went for a hike this morning, so I have the house to myself to be as lazy as I want.
GTKY: What is your favorite way to relax?
I'm with @nys27 I love to binge watch stuff on Netflix! I also love to cook.
CD/DPO: 23/8
Timing: -5, -2, -1
Testing Plans: BFN today (naturally) I don't know why I'm such a glutton for punishment!! Trying to wait now until at least Wednesday.
R/R/CS: I have absolutely no willpower. I talked myself into waiting to test until AF was missing. But I caved. Don't know why I would expect anything other than BFN at 8 DPO.
GTKY: What is your favorite way to relax?
A good book, or a nap. I used to scrapbook until I had 2u2 and went back to work. Now time is an issue. Also, I'm in love with adult coloring books!!
CD/DPO: 8/23
Timing: -1
Testing Plans: Tomorrow. I made my first pregnancy test purchase (since I've actually wanted to be PG) yesterday.
R/R/CS: Everything still seems good. Temps are still up. Cautiously optimistic but keeping the pressure low.
GTKY: I love long walks with my pup while listening to a podcast. Also love yoga, and tea.
EDIT: Congrats @Tippy05!

Month/Cycle: 3/3
CD/DPO: 21/6
Timing: -4.-2.-1.O,+1
Testing Plans: holding off til DPO 12 if I can
R/R/CS: I have 2. 1) dang persistent dull ache around my left ovary for days.

Month/cycle: 7/7
CD/DPO: 28/11
Timing: -5/4/3/2/O
FX for good news tomorrow @ejmo68 and @Xstatic3333!
@lilylover27 @emilyIRL Your charts didn't show up (at least I can't see them on mobile)
@Megzb510 I'm sorry about your BFNs
@bcooke314 Ugh I'm sorry your husband is still sick and you may be getting it now! Take a shot of some emergen-c!
@Tippy05 Congrats on your BFP!!! FX for a H&H 9 months!

Month/Cycle: 2/2
CD/DPO: 26/16
Timing: Apparently, not good enough.
And CONGRATS @Tippy05!

@SnobunnieMel always take the first temp. I do the same thing and my temps fluctuate, but it's best to be consistent and chart the same one. If I have one that is way off, I chart the first, but make a note of the second.
Month/Cycle: 4/4 (9/10 overall)
CD/DPO: 28/16
Timing: -1,0,1
Testing Plans: none
R/R/CS: my temp dropped low today, so low, lowest temp on my chart this whole cycle. I'm just going to sit here and wait for af.
GTKY: What is your favorite way to relax?
I love baking. It makes me calm, it's a great stress relief, but then I'm stuck with a bunch of baked goods that somebody is going to have to eat. You know, me.
ETA: all the congratulations!
Eta: Welp, after a whole day of nothing, af decided to show up. I'm heading over to WTO. Good luck to all the ladies here!

GTKY: What is your favorite way to relax? Lying in bed with my doggy cuddled up beside me and reading a good book
@Tippy05 & @ajn092 Congrats!

Timing: -5, -2, 0 and a few + for good measure
Testing Plans: Ugh. I have been thinking10 DPO or Saturday (1/23). I would prefer to find out the news on the weekend as it is a huge distraction from work to get a BFP and then have to try to focus all day. I will not test before, I will not test before, I will not test before. Ugh!

@ejmo68 You’re not out until AF rears her ugly head
@severmilli12 what are you getting? I really want to get another tattoo

@SnobunnieMel I use the first temp and then put the second temp in the notes section for future reference.

R/R/CS: **TW: Loss** I don’t even know what to say. Of course I am soo excited to be pregnant, but after my loss in December I am cautiously optimistic. GTKY: What is your favorite way to relax? Snuggling on the couch with DH and our puppies. I have also gotten into the adult coloring books.
