R/R/CS: DS had me up 3x last night. It was like he was a newborn again. I'm so freakin' tired and glad it wasn't close to O time or I'd be pissed he might've messed my temp up!

GTKY: What was your most embarrassing hairstyle? I had a perm for a long long time. Think crazy, tight curl perm. The worst part? My mom had one too. Nothing like late 80's/early 90's mother daughter perms!

WAYDTGKU: PNV, Calcium, tea (no coffee), waiting for AF to pass. OPK's are ordered to try those for the first time.

R/R/CS: I'm realizing now for these purposes, it's probably really CD1 today, first day of full flow. But
when they trained us in Crichton method, they said even just spotting
counts and your period. So I have always started at CD1 with even the
lightest flow. I just mark the heaviness in my CM notes. So I'm not
going to go changing up my whole system now, since it would throw of ALL
MY CHARTS by like a day or two some, maybe not at all. I'm just going
to leave well enough alone, but bearing in mind that I may really be a
day behind whatever is "typical" for various cycle days. I may need to
bear this in mind too, if I want to go back and tally up all my LP's
because they may really be a day or two longer than I realized.

GTKY: @PeggyOlsonFTW I had the same perm!

WAYDTGKU: Nothing at the moment, waiting for AF to GTFO.

R/R/CS: I told DH about this virus in the Caribbean and said we might have to TTA for this cycle since we're going on a cruise next month. I think he wanted to anyway because he wants me to be able to drink and do other non-pregnancy friendly excursions and such. For him, this was one more reason to wait until after. It sucks, I mean, I'm excited for vacation but I just hate to skip a cycle. Especially after reading that article about success in the first 3 months after a loss. This is month 3.

GTKY: What was your most embarrassing hairstyle?
I had 2 skunk stripes in 9th grade. The late 90's were a special time. Also, I asked for a pixie cut in 5th grade but the lady didn't know what she was doing so I ended up looking like a little boy. A little, chubby, boy. Awww, poor little me. I was so chubby and sad.

R/R/CS: My son's school was a ghost town at drop off, felt bad for him since it was him and one other kid. We just learned his BFF transitioned to the 3's room, my little cried about it this AM

ETA - Worst hair - I will not count the 1 inch bangs after I burnt my hair off with a curling iron in my early teens. I will blame my mother for giving me a boy haircut when I was in 5th grade after just moving to PA from NJ. I was chubby, hadnt grown into my teeth and my mom cut my hair so terribly I honestly looked like a boy. It was the very early 90's and I think I'm very lucky that almost everyone looked terrible in the early 90's and I still made friends at my new school.

R/R/CS: Solid smiley and significant temp drop today! woohoo!

GTKY: What was your most embarrassing hairstyle? Nothing too crazy, except when I was 5 and cut my own hair and bangs. I hid all the hair in my mom & dad's bathroom trash and covered it with loads of TP, haha. That is how my mom discovered it and then she found me in my room and had a look of horror on her face. My poor dear mother.

R/R/CS: Looking at my chart, I know I haven't O'd yet. I've only temped one other cycle, so I don't have a ton to compare it to, but my cycles have been 31 and 29 days since I've come off of BC in November. I was pretty sick throughout my FW this month, and was getting not quite positive, but close OPKs around CD14. Then, it went back to stark white negatives ever since. I kept thinking that I would O late, but now my fertile CM is going away as well. Could being sick cause an anovulatory cycle?

GTKY: What was your most embarrassing hairstyle? My sister and I had matching bobs with short bangs, and my mom would use a curling iron to curl our hair AND bangs under. The result was very poofy.

CD:2. :/

WAYDTGKU: al the things

R/R/CS: well... Started AF over the weekend while out of town. This was after more spotting than usual in Lp which has me mildly concerned. In mid February I have a 6 month follow up with the OBGYN following an abnormal pap so if it happens again this cycle I will ask. Maybe I can chalk this one up to the the stomach flu I got right before I O'd

MIL has been wanting to visit (and by visit I mean drive down from up north and stay for an undetermined amount of time, usually like 3 weeks). We have been trying to "work" with her and nail down actual dates for a visit (because we are not an effing hotel). At least now that AF has arrived I can give some dates that she cannot be here.... Because in efforts to ensure that BD is not a chore.... We try extra special sexy times that are a it always in the bedroom. That would be SUPER awkward if MiL is here.

Also told DH that I think this is the last month that we have before we have to consider TTA for a month due to a wedding in November. While it's not the most logical and practical answer, DH was sweet when he said there is no reason to out our life on hold and if it happens when we will figure it out.

GTKY: What was your most embarrassing hairstyle?

I got a short surfer cut type thing in the second grade. I have a unisex name that is more often a male name. So for a while people who met me didn't know I was a girl.

And to top it off... The surfer cut grew out into a bowl cut.

Edited because I forgot things
• @BusinessWife I always count the first day that I need a tampon or pad as the first. Mine are always super light (at least since kicking the bc). I have not had heavily flow since I was in high school (>15 yrs ago :s ). This cycle I spotted for days before AF... But I would see blood once and then not the rest of the day so I never used a tampon until I saw enough to warrant it.

I would tend to agree not to change your method. Consistency is probably better than making sure it is technically correct.
• Month/Cycle: 3/4

WAYDTGKU: Temping/charting, PNV, thinking about mucinex now...

R/R/CS: Not much to say. DH was working last night, I fell asleep on the couch and forgot to charge my phone and forgot my thermometer. So no BBT this morning. Oh well, at least it's during AF.

GTKY: What was your most embarrassing hairstyle?
Cut off 11 inches to donate in 11th grade and had the worst short haircut ever. My hair curls and waves and the lady who cut it didn't get it. Oh I cringe when I think about it. I have one particularly awful picture of it where my bra strap is hanging out of my shirt, too. Eck.

@BusinessWife - What's the Crichton method? I wasn't taught any methods but when I used to just chart AF/CM to keep track, I always started CD1 on spotting day, too.

@Lecool - I don't know about causing annovulatory, but if you were sick your temps could be off, which my trick FF into thinking there was no O?

R/R/CS: I definitely FEEL like today is the day. Or hoping at least. This is definitely the most active we've been and making it continue is difficult for me. No O pains this time but fatigue, increased appetite, and ewcm yesterday. Hoping it is. Not sure how long I can last at trying eod.

GTKY: What was your most embarrassing hairstyle?
Bangs. Definitely bangs! I too have a cowlick and it's awful. Just no. Other than that, I tried to cut my own layers when I was 14ish. That was a disaster. Haha.

GTKY: What was your most embarrassing hairstyle? I have two. Intentionally, I got those whispy bangs when I was younger and would pull my hair back super tight and blow dry the bangs. Looked awful and I burnt the bangs to a crisp. Unintentionally, I put Sun-In into my "The Rachel" hairstyle, and swam competitively. As the Sun-In grew out, the chlorine tinged my roots green. I have destroyed ALL pictures from that era.

I don't think I've ever had one? Most of the time I cut my hair very rarely. So long & layered is usually it.

I had an anovulatory cycle after a wacky 10-day fever from some virus - total cycle length 45 days (average 27). FF did gave me CH, but due to the subsequent long LP I deduced those CH were bunk. I hope you just O later than normal!

@PrettyPalomino - DH had Laser Eye Surgery last month and both of his eyes were very blurry for a week. Then they started getting better and better. He has his month follow up tomorrow. After the first week and a half he said he doesn't think it would even possible for them to get any better but they just continue to get better and better and better. Give it time, he says it's the best thing he's ever done! Good Luck!

@BusinessWife - Saw your signature about your fur babies. I have a maltipoo to

@Lecool - I had what I, and FF, think was an anovulatory cycle last month. Thinking back I really have no idea what could have caused it. I did some research of course and apparently it is quite normal for women to have at least one anovulatory cycle a year. I'm no expert but every symptom or lack there of has pointed to an anovulatory cycle for me. If that is the case, it's quite coincidental that I had one this past cycle right when I need O! Perhaps we are thinking too far into it and it was stress. Who knows but FX for you!

GTKY: What was your most embarrassing hairstyle? When I was 6 or 7 my dad cut my hair into a mushroom/bowl cut. I guess he really wanted a boy! He cut my hair like that for years until i finally grew it out when I was like 11. So embarrassing!!!

The cut itself wasn't that bad, but I mostly wore baggy jeans, t-shirts, and knit hats, so I probably looked pretty goofy and boyish.

R/R/CS: I have no earthly idea where I am in my cycle. Long story short (and sorry if I keep repeating myself but just for context sake I will go into it again)... I was put on birth controls pills at the beginning of this cycle b/c I was having surgery to remove a polyp from my ute. After the surgery the RE wanted me to continue the BCP so that my period would not start b/c we were waiting on the go-ahead from the rheumatologist to start an IUI cycle and she didn't want my period to start before the appointment with the rheum b/c then we would have to wait an entire additional cycle before we could start. Well, the rheum did NOT give the go ahead and in fact she wants me to wait 3-6 months (that is an entire separate story that I won't even get into right now b/c I am emotionally exhausted). Anyway, last week I started spotting a little bit and then over the weekend I was bleeding enough that I needed a pad (can't use tampons for 10 days after the surgery) even though I was still on the BCP. My last pill was Saturday and today I am still bleeding a little so does that mean that Sunday was CD1?? I am so confused. I go today for my post op with the RE and hopefully she can clarify. I wasn't temping last "cycle" b/c the BCP were jacking up my temps and since I live and die by temping I am going crazy. I started temping again this morning to hopefully get some clarification from my body.

GTKY: What was your most embarrassing hairstyle? In first grade my mom cut off all my hair and I looked like a boy :( I got made fun of a lot. Whenever I bring it up now she still says that it was soooo cute and she even pulled a picture from an old album to show DH when we were first dating.

• @fitlady21 What kind of OPKs are you going to use? Probably not bad to start earlier the first cycle to be sure. The timing of when to test each day may vary on the type you are using. I use the Clearblue advanced OPKs and it says to use first morning urine so that is what I do and it has worked for me.
• ****Question*****

First timer with OPKs here! It has gone like this:

CD 11 & 12 - very faint test line
CD 13 - stronger test line, but still a tad bit fainter than control
CD 14 & CD 15 - no test line whatsoever

Do you think the test on CD 13 was a positive? Wondfo directions say test has to be same as control, but it is looking like that is as positive as it's going to get. Today on CD 15 (48 hours after the questionable "positive"), I had a major temp drop so I'm thinking/hoping today might be O day.

WAYDTGKU: temp, cp, cm, diet, trying for ED this cycle.

R/R/CS: I HATE the bump app. It is the literal worst. It keeps telling me I don't have permission to do things. HATE.

GTKY: What was your most embarrassing hairstyle?

My mom gave me this terrible short in the back but long on top haircut with like 1 inch bangs. Oh my God it was awful. I also had headgear and almost exclusively wore oversized turtlenecks and Harry Potter t-shirts. Dark times.

• @Sparty18

I'm using wondfos!
• @fitlady21 I think with wondfos most people use them later in the morning/afternoon - but I'll let other ladies that use them confirm what works best!
