@PrimRoseMama I wasn't temping, but yeah, I'm assuming an anovulatory cycle. Hoping AF shows up before I head to the Dr. on Friday!! And definitely temping from now on.
</div>on Amazon. It also says to avoid the tea once you know you are pregnant, or I read from reviewers to stop once your LP starts. It's a blend including green tea in it and also vitex, peppermint, red raspberry, ladies mantle etc. I also got a plain red raspberry leaf Yogi tea that is safe for any time in your cycle including pregnancy. I have some other one just to have like ginger tea and lavender-chamomile, and another navajo tea that's just herbal/caffeine free. I have been transformed into a tea-sipping fool! lol
@khbear117 I actually haven't, but generally speaking I am a big advocate of natural and herbal remedies as much as possible, because there are so many potent naturally occurring compounds found in plants, that obviously if people have been using certain ones for certain things for CENTURIES, there may be something to it. That said, I think you're right to be cautious, because choosing the wrong things could have a counter-productive effect. This is a link for the brand I'm using, and they also have a men's blend. I have been giving my guy maca and fenugreek as well, so I may be more familiar with the benefits of some of the ingredients than others. <b>https://www.fertility-health.com/herbal-fertility-tea.html </b> This link is perhaps less brand-biased and has some more general information <b>https://www.ovulation-calculator.com/fertility-supplements.htm</b> I have only just tried the FertiliTea today the first time, but I'll be darned if I didn't actually feel noticeably less miserable over AF withing just a few minutes of drinking some! I was amazed! because I really wasn't expecting to actually FEEL it working or feel any better physically, but I did. If you're not sure, maybe the cautious approach might be just the red-raspberry alone, see how you feel? I know once you start blending, you really don't know what's in it or what in particular is having the positive effects, but it sure seems like there are a number of "fertility blends" out there on the market these days!
@BusinessWife - good on you to have your 'plan' but my best suggestion is to be fluid in those plans. Things don't always turn out the way we hope, and sometimes the longer your mind is set, the harder it is to accept that. I don't mean to sound callous at all, but sometimes you don't have control and have to follow the lead of your child or medical advice.
@<span><a href="https://forums.thebump.com/profile/DiFazette911" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">DiFazette911</a> Ya totally. That is basically the other half of, "everyone has their journey," including myself. And I definitely don't have a crystal ball as to what mine may be either. I think it's a shame because so much of the time I hear women beating themselves up for no other reason than xy or z didn't go the way they had imagined it would and had become attached to that 'plan' as you put it. I try not to be. I am a firm believer in acceptance of actual reality. :) fwiw</span>

Cool. I have a friend that's all BSC because she didn't get to follow her birth plan. I had an emergency c at 33 weeks with hella complications and didn't get to see my baby for 48 hours. He was too small to BF, and my plans did not include exclusive pumping and forced 2 hour feeds after a 5 week NICU stay. You get what you get, right?!!
R/R/CS: Well I got my peak OPK two days ago and felt this sharp pain for about 45 minutes on my right side yesterday evening and got a temp rise of 0.5 degrees today!! Just need 2 more temps to confirm ovulation
GTKY: What was your most embarrassing hairstyle? I got pretty lucky in that my hair hasn't been too bad. I guess I didn't look good rocking the bowler look when I was 5 years old...
WORF: I did not come here to
admire the scenery.
DAX: If you say so. I guess we should just go
home.
WORF: Well maybe. I would not be so hasty.
DAX: I take it the scenery has improved?
WORF: A few months ago, when I was commanding
the Defiant on a scouting mission in the Gamma Quadrant, we encountered a
protostar cluster, a swirling mass of colour set against a background of
glowing clouds and burning sky. It was the most beautiful thing I had ever
seen, until now.
DAX: I've got to take you on vacation more
often.

That does sound like it must have been very scary for you and your family all around! So glad he's okay and of course *eventually* you got to bring him home and discover what your family routines and things were going to be. How old is he now? What you're talking about with your friend to me is like, well I don't want to say silly exactly, but like, we get so obsessed with this new 21st century mystical birth myth that a woman can go home in tears that she didn't catch her own baby in a water bath with Enya playing or something, or - as major surgery as a c-section really is - I mean, we live in a country with such advanced medicine that if that's what's medically necessary, they can totally do that and in most cases, everything works out okay. That is a HUGE blessing that we as a culture/society have here that is all too easy to take for granted, and seems ridiculous to think that a woman could beat herself up for getting an epidural or something for heaven's sake. There's no right or wrong way to do it - and I think the same goes for all sorts of baby and parenting things - BF, diapering, weaning, pacifiers, day care/school choice etc etc etc I think there's like a youtube or something that says it way better than apparently I can right now, but about how women and moms should be embracing and supporting one another, not trying to be so divisive over all these ultimately superficial parenting choices, drawing lines in the sand instead of coming together. But now I'm just rambling. :)
Anyone have any ideas? My Temps are sort of all over the place. I thought I o'd on cd13, but my temp went down a bit today. Is this possible if I've ovulated? I think I read you need 3 higher Temps to confirm ovulation.
@BusinessWife Thanks for the suggestions and links! I have a lot of respect for herbals and due to that I tend to be cautious because I know they can have strong impacts on hormones and blood counts and all sorts of things. I think I'll start with raspberry leaf and if I go a couple more months I may dip into something stronger.
@babymish *grabs pineapple and starts gnawing away*
Its not the yummy fruit. Its the core you want.
Oh I know not sure how tough the core will be...ill find out in a sec though!! I guess it can't hurt for for me to eat the fruit too, will make the core go down easier I hope!
