I have at least 1 big follie (17X18) and go back on Monday for post coital testing and decision if we just continue with timed intercourse or we do IUI in a few days. Who knows. My uterine lining was 8.5 so that was good news. Should hear more about my other labs withing the next 30-45 mins. Hopefully nothing earth shattering.

UPDATE. So the doctors office called with my labs. Said I must have ovulated very recently. I did another OPK after speaking to them and definitely negative. So I guess I'm in the TWW. I think O happened yesterday based on CM & cramping pains last night. So no antibiotics now. Not sure what that means in the long run. I guess tomorrow I start in TWW. DH was away overnight Tuesday so no BD that day. Hopefully we didn't miss it!

Cycle lengths the last few months...27 days, 29 days, 27 days, 28 days.
FF right now has a green box around CD13, I'm assuming that is its guesstimate as to O day? I'm so torn on whether to start on CD 9 (Monday), so that we would hopefully hit M (CD9), W (CD11), Fri (CD13), and one on Sun (CD15).
In terms of trying to increase your chance of conception, which day is the best? Is it -2, -1, or O? (FF tutorial said O day itself is best, but I thought I read on here something like it takes sperm 6 hours to travel or something).
Also, is it more common to O earlier or later or is it completely dependent on the woman?

@JamieK1882 I'm pretty sure if you can only hit one day that -1 would be best. If you only hit O, it could be too late since there is really no way to pinpoint a time, and the egg is only viable for 12-24 hours. I think your plan sounds good.

@JamieK1882 My DH is the same way! What I do is try to get the day of my positive OPK and the day after, for presumed O-1 and O. The sperm don't all arrive at once, they start to arrive around 30 minutes (I have even heard they've found them earlier, with no explanation for how they could have traveled so fast!) and then are basically released in waves, some are held in reserve, all very fascinating. It looks like your cycles are very consistent and you are ovulating between CD13 and CD15, so I would probably aim for CD12 and CD14. If you think 3 days will be OK, then CD11, CD13, and CD15. Just my opinion!

Please forgive my pregnancies mentioned but I looked back at my bfp charts when I was TTC last time and our best timing was always -2 and -1. On one chart that was THE ONLY timing.
I'm sure -5 and -4 work but if I was really going to narrow it down I would personally do -3 -2 -1 or just -2 -1.
I'm not charting at the moment so right now we are trying to do EOD or ED during my *guestimmated* FW.
Eta I don't bother with O or +1. I think +1 is really only if you're not sure of O

I have heard -1 and -2 give the best chances. O is completely dependent on every woman and every cycle. Do you get a "heads up" on impending O by tracking CM or using OPKs? If you do, I would try to focus on when those signs of your FW are happening (especially if you generally get good, fertile CM) and have sex EOD starting then.

@babymish - I guess just talk to him (as I’m sure others have advised) and say something along the lines of, “hey, if it gets in your head too much to know, I don’t have to tell you, just don’t ask.” Or the equivalent that would work best for your SO.
@sarah0985 - yeah, my DH does that sometimes too. I’m always thinking, “if we don’t have sex often enough then why are you turning it down any time that it’s offered?”
I can see why it is doing the CD19/21 dance… personally, I think CD 19 looks more likely if we’re not talking temps.

I was thinking -1 gives you the best chances, since you don’t know when on O day you O, and it’s best to already have sperm there waiting to meet the egg. Personally, I try to hit -1, though I’d be ecstatic if I could somehow pull of -1 and O, but you know, we burn out fast also.

@JamieK1882 I have heard the two days before are the best. O is a short window, if you time it wrong you could miss it. Saying that I completely understand. My husband is the same way. I tried to get three days in a row to boost my chances this month and it caused some issues where I didn't get to hio on O day. I guess live and learn. I would say (for myself too) just to get as close as you can to O then relax. You've done the best you can. It's up to your body to take care of the rest. Good luck!

I’m so late I almost didn’t bother, but here we go.
@babymish - I guess just talk to him (as I’m sure others have advised) and say something along the lines of, “hey, if it gets in your head too much to know, I don’t have to tell you, just don’t ask.” Or the equivalent that would work best for your SO.
@sarah0985 - yeah, my DH does that sometimes too. I’m always thinking, “if we don’t have sex often enough then why are you turning it down any time that it’s offered?”

I can see why it is doing the CD19/21 dance… personally, I think CD 19 looks more likely if we’re not talking temps.

@jmr1515 - Oh no, I’m sorry that you have a UTI. I hope that you’re feeling better soon. I think sickness/infection in general can delay O, but won’t necessarily. Not sure about antibiotics.
@Paturkey - Honestly, I haven’t looked for that pattern, maybe I’ll look at that after a couple more cycles of temping (if I’m not already KTFU by then).

@MaybeOneMore - FX that you get your CH soon. That is a lot of HIO. I definitely prefer green/yellow though. I’m early in my cycle and I O later, so I know it’s NBD, but seeing that red “probably not fertile” pisses me off every day. I wish they’d find a different way to phrase that!
@Sparty18 - FX for O soon! I assume you started taking them around the recommended date? When I took mine early, I had prolonged flashing smileys, but when I don’t, I have a reasonable number of days of them.
@strickland8052 - I would tell FF to disregard the temps from the old thermometer, personally. As long as you use the disregard function, you can always add them back in if you need to.
@beary67 - Yoga is one of those things that I really wish I could do, but I’ve finally given up on ever working for me.

@ally989 - Your cycle *could* do that… regular until you’re not and all, but I think you’re just going to have to wait and see what the next few cycles do. Your temps could just as easily go back down and FF could take the CH away.

@JamieK1882 - oh no, just try to relax! Deep breaths! *hugs* Now, for your other questions. I think FF does a darker green for FW and then a lime green for predicted O day. There’s also symbols with eggs if you’re looking at the computer. Really, FF said O is best? I was thinking -1 gives you the best chances, since you don’t know when on O day you O, and it’s best to already have sperm there waiting to meet the egg. Personally, I try to hit -1, though I’d be ecstatic if I could somehow pull of -1 and O, but you know, we burn out fast also.

GTK: (Stolen from TWW) Have you ever met anyone famous? If not, who would you love to meet? I haven't met anyone famous. I would love to meet Leonardo DiCaprio or John Mayer... I think they're both very interesting and talented. And not bad looking either!
