Crazy temper tantrums?

DS will be one next week and he has been having really bad temper tantrums for the last week. They are pretty much nonstop. If he sees something he wants or it is not going "his" way then he will stop, his face will turn bright red and he will start screaming/crying and lip out. If we hand him what he wants then he will stop instantly. We have tried distracting him with another toy or taking him to a different room, but it's just not working. It's like constant temper tantrums.

Any advice?

    I think this means welcome to toddlerhood!  DS started doing the same thing about 2 weeks ago.

    Very late to this, but my DS started this a few weeks ago as well. It is horrible! I have been around lots of infants and I never remember them doing this around this age, so I am glad to hear we're not the only one going through this!
