My coworker who has been all up in my business and is super negative (which really turns me off from people) since I switched roles (3 months ago) has been super quiet and hasn't talked to me about another other than work since I came back after the new year. I think she finally got the hint (no one likes her and others have complained) and I love the quiet so I can get work done! Hopefully she keeps that up once the office knows I'm expecting... I really don't want her "advice".

Had our first appointment today and it went great! My blood pressure was a little high but she took it through my sweater and I was so nervous, hopefully it'll be better next time! So glad that everything is good though, one less thing to worry about!
DH was curious to know what it felt like when I told him my boobs were hurting. He left me no choice but to pinch his nipple (lol) only ever so slightly but he got the picture. He's been extra nice to me since.
Also, I just had 4 slices of pizza at work. Something about simple cheese pizza I am loving. I loved eating them so much that I forgot what my coworkers might think. Oops? No regrets!
I'm with you all on pizza. Have had it 3 times in the last week! Cheese is one of the few things that sounds appealing to me all the time. String cheese and crackers has been a lifesaver.
Now pizza sounds good... We are going to look at a daycare right by my favorite pizza place after work, I think I can get my husband on board with this idea...
We had pizza at a birthday party this weekend at a small town pizza shop and it was AMAZING, but the place is like 40 min away
Also, I love the Whatsupmoms YouTube channel. They were doing the nursery reveal for one of the moms and the nursery was sponsored by all modern.com. I checked the website out and it is awesome! I've been playing around with ideas for a nursery today since I'm home sick.
Pizza sounds good, carbs and cheese are the only things i like right now and the combination is heavenly. I have been all over, mac n cheese, potato skins and bagels and cream cheese!
Like @Lynnlove28 I had my first appointment today too! It seems to go very well and said my uterus felt like it was larger lol kinda of weird but made my day. Except when she said that we can schedule an ultrasound whenever I want and they had an opening tomorrow! I didn't realize I would get one so soon! I am so excited for tomorrow and to see our baby! I think it will really all set in then!
Today is the first day in 2 weeks I don't feel like hell. It could be the excitement of the appointment, but I am happy to feel some relief (no way near 100%!)
To help with snacking more I subscribed to graze.com. Anyone try that? It's pretty good, has a great variety and it's great to try new things. It's not cheap but I feel like it's a decent price for the service. And I have it delivered right to my office. The snack I am eating now is called "peachy orchard" and it has peach drops, rhubarb and dried pear. So good!

I've been loving cheese and carbs, too. I've eaten bagel bites for lunch almost every day lately. Cottage cheese has been a bit of a life saver -- when I get hungry mid-afternoon, I've taken a couple bites of it.
Today, I managed to eat a salad at lunch (thank you, soda water and Tums), and I felt really proud of myself.
I had a shaky morning. First up was u/s where the tech originally thought it could be twins. Cue freak out because we only planned for 2 kids and we already have 1. After a few more angles she was pretty sure it's only one and apologized for the 'Steve Harvey moment'. I'll probably call my doc in a few days after she's reviewed everything to confirm.
Then i headed over to the lab to get my blood work done and she had to poke me twice (and dig around) on one arm, then once more on my other arm before she finally found a vein. Since losing my appetite is my biggest symptom, I hadn't eaten in almost 24 hours so I became faint and nauseous. Cue dry heaving in the sink and having to sit with my legs propped up and drinking a glucose drink.
@Bubblegum5586 pizza or a cheesy baked potato are my go too at the moment. I convinced my hubby to stop and get dinner on his way home. His response "you just want to make a baked potato without me judging you" Mine: "uh, yes. I'm so glad you get my pregnant self!"
@babaylo I LOVED parenthood. I finished it a few weeks ago. Such a great show. Season 6 wasn't on Netflix at the time, so I bought it. I couldn't not finish it. I'm looking for a new show to binge now.
34 Mother of 4 year old and 2 Labs. Happily Married to my Hubs of 6 years.
All I want the last few days is a really good milkshake and there is literally nowhere near me to get one. Our ice cream shop is closed for the winter, and the closest compromise I can come up with is a DQ blizzard. And that's even 20 minutes away. I worry I am not going to stop obsessing until I find one.

OOOOh, bagel bites. "When pizza's on a bagel, you can eat pizza anytime!" Want

I have school today, but we got like 4 inches of snow last night that I'd have to walk through, plus wind and 20• to get there. I'm already sick, and don't want to push it so I'm saying screw it and staying home.
@Pepper6 that sounds awful! I never drink enough water before blood work and it always takes them forever to find a vain. I hope you're feeling better!
@MSUgrad12 4 inches and not even a delay?! You must live somewhere that gets a lot of snow. We're finally expecting a little snow here today but we've usually used at least one snow day at this point but we've barely had a dusting up until now!
@Tra1010011 Pennsylvania is having their annual farm show this week in Harrisburg... the dairymen's association has the BEST milkshakes!! I'm trying to convince hubby that we need to go just for milkshakes and giant fried mozzarella cubes.
@babaylo We binged Parenthood last weekend. I knew Season 6 would be killer, but I loved it. There is a huge hole in my heart with it being over. Love those Braverman's!
Serious headache since yesterday. I've taken Tylenol, had a bath with Epsom salt, and even tried this awful ginger drink. Anyone else have anything I can try?
And after catching up on this thread, I think I will be adding pizza to this week's menu!
QUESTION: I woke up this morning with an odd red rash (slightly bumpy) underneath my eyes. Not sure if this is another weird pregnancy thing or something else. Anyone else experience this before?

I only crave frozen pizza when I'm pregnant and now I totally want it for dinner! I don't think I can convince DH though...
