@RoseShadow873 perhaps you're right, but I will say that before I joined the army, I was working two jobs and taking 18-credit semesters in college. I managed to pull all A's, perform exceptionally well at both jobs, and even remember to put the onions in the fridge rather than with the canned goods (which has happened twice now with pregnancy) despite sleeping only 4-5 broken hours per day and being in an emotional and verbally abusive relationship. I kept it going for two years.
Now, I am the most calm and happy I've been in my entire adult life, sleep at least 8 hours a day even with tossing and turning at night, and have trouble stringing 10 words together to form a coherent sentence. I believe with all of my being that pregnancy is affecting my motor and vocal skills as well as my memory, because literally everything else in my life would be conducive to improved memory rather than worsened.
Well we're jumping on the new tires train from the BFM post - left our 20 minute trip to the grocery store to a lovely note in the door handle that the back tire was completely flat. And of course not the one that's had a slow leak for a year. So DH's driving to work on the spare til they can get it in tomorrow. Glad that was already budgeted for, but it'd be nice to just once in my life, get a flat when it's not either raining or less than 20 degrees outside.
On the other hand, I love Midwest nice. We had 2 different people (both over 60) stop in the parking lot to apologize that they couldn't help with the tire change. Adorable.

Edit because even my grammar has baby brain
That is rather strange! It is a subject that definitely could use more research! I do believe anything is possible.

People there really are the best.
Midwest is the best.
Having lived in the US Midwest for 8 years I have to agree! People are so nice!!!
I will break something if I find another coffee cup (with coffee in it) sitting in toddler reach again. Put your coffee in a place that the kid can't reach. How hard is that?! Or better yet, drink it all and then throw the disposable cup away or put the mug in the dishwasher!

I also have to throw Texas in there...not the area I'm in since it's a hodgepodge of people from all over the place, but the rest of the state is very polite.
Do I HAVE to get up? Last night was another night of crappy rotisserie style (lol!) night of sleep, and due to the stupid night light I thought DD needed she was up AGAIN around 2am because when she went to change positions she couldn't find Minnie Mouse on her blanket which prompted the tears So instead of getting up and going I'm bumping from bed...can I just stay here for the day?
I feel like my problems won't end. The rib pain was so bad this morning I called the emergency. They want me to come in to rule out a blood clot. I can't take this anymore

Would you tell your body to just quit acting up? Seriously, you've gone through enough.
I really hope you can get a provider that you can better communicate with this time and that it's nothing serious. Good luck and keep us posted!

@imrachellea - I'm beginning to suspect that "pregnancy glow" is just a polite euphemism for "undereye circles." Sleeping rotisserie-style is seriously for the birds.
@elasticheart13 - Hang in there, girlfriend. Sending good thoughts your way; hopefully your wait from this point on is short and they'll be able to give you some answers and (more importantly) some relief.
You ladies are awesome waiting for the results of the tests they took and they left this needle in my arm that hurts like a bitch DH keeps making me laugh even though I'm in pain while we're waiting. And I'm hungry
@elasticheart13 sounds like a rough day! So sorry mama - fingers crossed for good news!
On another note - I think it was @fbanke42 that pointed out Spoonflower.com a while back - ummm thank you!!! Just ordered the cutest fabric so I can make leggings and matching headbands for our baby girl! SO EXCITED!!!
@allaire314 Indeed it was! I keep procrastinating ordering the fabric for LO's swaddle. DH loves the baby burrito birth announcements, so I wanted to make sure that at least the swaddle fabric is super cute and unique. Too bad I want to buy everything in sight and start making crib sheets, blankets, and changing pad covers like a mad-woman. Maybe I can quit my day job and just sell cute baby things instead! Then I could play with all of the cute fabric!
@elasticheart13 I'm so glad he's there with you while you're dealing with all this! I hope your tests come back quickly so you can get home and "request" so pampering
@allaire314 DH has "decided" that we're going to open an eclectic stand at our farmer's market...I'll sell homemade baked goods and random Pinterest stuff I make and he'll smoke up different things to sell (the man does a mean smoked pork butt and smoked salmon, which is awesome by itself but he also makes an insane smoked salmon dip...).

I love Spoonflower!!! Have you seen that you can have your own designs printed on fabric? I plan to use that option in the future for some of LOs drawings and turn them into fabric for a pillowcase or blanket or something.
The other online store that takes all my money is fatquartershop.com
@allaire314 I'm so glad you tried it! I was just telling someone else about it today We buy the biscuits in a 4 pack from the bulk store, so its something we have on hand...and I don't feel like I slacked off by not making a homemade dinner!
Victoria's Secret already sent out their swimsuit catalogue... I opened it, narrowed my eyes, and then tossed it in the trash.
Saw this today and just about laughed myself into an asthma attack:
Since everyone started their diets and exercise routines on the 1st! I'll just be sitting over here, hand on the bump and eating a cinnamon roll...
I would totally put my pregnant butt into a bikini if I were actually going to use it somewhere warm. Oregon is cold during spring (generally speaking), so I won't be doing any swimming until July/August. Victoria's Secret also doesn't have any bikini tops that I could fit my swollen, aching melons into. Thirdly, I'm afraid of getting a sunburn on the bump. I'm so darn pale that I burn instantly.
I just filled out DH's company's fitness reimbursement stuff while sitting on the couch eating cookie dough. I think they may have had a different response in mind...
So after 5 hours of waiting we finally got to speak to a doctor and he concluded its not a blood clot but more likely caused by my gall bladder. He got me an appointment tomorrow early so I can have it scanned. So far it seems I have to live with this pain until I give birth. I can in no way imagine myself in a condition to push when I'm in this much pain already and I'm terrified I'll end up with a csection
@elasticheart13 Well, the good news is that it's not a blood clot. Clotting is bad. As much as the gallbladder pain sucks, it should have little to no impact on LO. Hopefully they find something helpful when you get your scan done. Even if this does last until labor (hopefully not), you'll be too distracted by contractions to even think about your gallbladder pain!

Oh no! Poor you! I hope it's nothing serious (I'm sure it won't be). Good vibes your way!
@imrachellea I also had rotisserie sleep + a baby riverdance show around 5am. I vote we just stay in bed!!

Ps. The chicken bake with the red lobster biscuits was amazing! DH was a huge fan, and it was so stinking easy!
